Yeah - containing the TEs with our LBs, tackling well, consistent rush angles. If they do those things, and force LJ to try and beat us down the field in a december game in buffalo- they would have a chance.

From a yardage and points standpoint the Broncos do have a top 10 defense. Penalties and drops really killed drives in the 2nd half. We had a very run oriented attack to this one, and putting yourself behind the sticks tends to get away from that gameplan. Feleciano red zone hold put us at 1st and goal from the 15. This one basically took 4 points off the board. Multiple penalties in the last 2 minutes kind of just - cratered any chance of that drive getting points. Mckenzie hold on a drive in the 2nd half put them at 1st and 20 instead of 2nd and 7 from the denver 40. Hard to say but this probably took points off the board in the 3rd quarter. Ford holding put them at 1st and 20. Right after a nice mckenzie 3rd down conversion we were on the denver 42. 3 big holding penalties that killed drives or took points off the board. I didn't see any of them on instant replay because CBS sucks (the mckenzie one was stupid and blatant) - but either way - gotta be better. Its probably like a 10 point difference in this one. I also think there were a few situations in a normal game i might go for it on 4th - or be more aggressive in Playcalling. But by the 4th quarter i didn't think brandon allen was going to make any plays so, why not just be a bit safe and win it that way.

They really hurt you running, and with TEs. They built their offense around heavier personnel this year after the playoff loss last year to a team basically playing an entire game in dime defense. Ingram the feature back, Edwards the power back. 2 TE's drafted in 2018 are playing a ton and creating mismatches. And you have insane speed and elusiveness on every play coming from the QB. Their WRs are also fast, so they will take shots during the game - but the backs, LJs legs, and the TEs are the ones moving the chains.

Our game was also a fundamental run defense error. Not sure how they addressed it - but the team has seemed to play a bit hungrier and angrier since the cleveland and Philly games. The fact that we don't have a strong screen game didn't help. Super windy day in buffalo and their o-line came in trying to make a statement.

So hard to get them off the field - theyre always in 3rd and makeable. Lots of first downs, lots of TOP... Just going to have to score points and attack. It's in buffalo which is nice - not sure he's played a game in cold, snowy, windy, wet conditions.

Because what you do in the regular season means nothing once you're in the playoffs. Offense is going to have to score points. Neither team has beaten anyone of note but dallas did beat the eagles who absolutely torched us with zone runs? The buffalo run defense is going to get a helping of OZ in this one with one of the best backs in the NFL. They better be ready to make some plays.

Let's see.. cam Newton won an mvp, mahomes won an mvp, wilson or LJ probably win it this year. Wilson also won a super bowl if that's the made up criteria. Moon is a HOFer, Cunningham had a pretty long decently successful career. Same with McNabb.

I don't think arizona is a cupcake either at this point. They've lost 3 straight close games - gotta think they are still playing hard.

They got a H2H against us and a really talented team. 2 games against the bengals, and 1 against Miami should be 3 easy ones. Then 2 of Pitt, zona, and baltimore. They're missing a really serious all-pro piece of their defense though which might end up biting them.

This is a big game this weekend for playoff hopes. I do think Buffalo will beat pittsburgh, and gase doesn't seem to finish a season once eliminated so i see buffalo winning that one.

21-10 Defense should shut them down and i like singletary-allen to move the ball well enough with their legs to open up some stuff in the passing game. I expect the pass game to be a lot of quick stuff to neutralize their pass rush.

Steelers looked really bad against the browns... and they play them again. Browns could be 9-7 when its all said and done. But don't you just picture them controlling their own destiny and blowing an away game to cincy to end the year?

Neither team has a really easy slate and now the colts have 5 losses. To get to 9-7 Indy needs to win 3 of Titans, Bucs, Saints, Panthers, Jaguars. I'm not sure they have the offense to win 4 of them so i look at them as a likely candidate for 9-7.

I'm saying - there are certain teams that have players they won't trade. These are those players, they're the building blocks. Players that get traded at this point have become distractions, problems, not played to their potential etc. Not 5 time all-pros and MVP caliber running backs.

Kuechly is under contract for 2 more years... reasonable price - why would you release him? As for McCaffrey - same thing, 1 more year on his deal and a 5th year option. MVP candidate and a 5 time first team all-pro LB... those are things you build around. None of these guys are available in 2020 (Cook, McCaffrey, Kamara). Ekeler is a RFA - but he's going to get a fairly high tender so you'd have to overpay and give up probably a 2nd round pick. Cook and Kamara are in the last year of rookie deals so they'll want to negotiate extensions, and possibly be trade candidates if negotiations are far apart - but they aren't available to sign so they will cost you picks.

It's kind of windy in buffalo - no kicker is just blasting them out of the end zone every try. Angling punts is the same thing - u also run the risk of shanking. Punting high is often enough.

He's an RFA anyway so I don't think he's on the radar

They're better than the 6-4 suggests - 4 losses, 3 by 4 or fewer points. I don't know that their defense is as stingy as it appears, but they got a great oline and zeke. Dak's playing fantastic right now... its a tough game. Maybe NE messes up his mojo before thanksgiving - but we're going to need to hang 30 points and not turn it over. Hope they have an aggressive gameplan.

Agreed. They should all be relatively cheap too. 2nd tier RBs ended up with Annual Average values below 3 mil and total guarantee's of about 3. Figure with some inflation - and a lot more talent. 4? per year maybe less?
