I mean - the condensed offseason is a big challenge. Going from Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith to Parker, hurns, williams... is a major challenge. The offensive line in Miami isn't particularly strong either. Not sure i love Chan there either, his offenses always have too many turnovers... (he also has fitz...).

I didn't love Miami's 2019 draft. 2020 was obviously better but they had the benefit of 3 1sts (and i don't even love the 3 firsts). Ton of cap space so they spent a ton, but i'm not sure they were particularly wise with it. Fitz is cheap and they got tua cheap for 4 years so try and find pieces that work, so a little overspend isn't bad. Def going secondary heavy - which makes the move to move minkah so strange. They now have an incredibly expensive secondary, and very little in the way of pass rush. Offensively - they moved their best running back in drake - and i think they did a nice job replacing him with howard and breida. The only issue i have there is how much money they invested at RB, while doing nothing at WR. Made a bunch of changes along the oline... but I'm not sure Jackson is going to be good in year 1 with no camp, and flowers and karras stink (and are now overpaid). So i like some moves - but i don't know that paying that much for byron jones, and van noy is going to put them over the edge. As for pass rush - i don't know that ogbah and lawson get it done either. Building a rushing offense should start up front - this wasn't the greatest FA class there but i felt like they missed. Fitz is a total wildcard - he'll put up points/yards, but he's a 6-8 win QB. I'd play tua late in the year just to get some reps, get a feel for the game etc. Might try something similar to what the bills did with ford with jackson - get some snaps but don't throw the guy completely to the wolves.

With the more difficult schedule, the same number of wins might be progress.

Kittle was 2nd team all-pro in 2018, and first team in 2019. Over the last 2 seasons he's been considered by many to be among the top 2-3 players at his position. He's also probably the best player on their offense. He's 26 and hasn't really made any money yet. Waller has never been all-pro, and prior to 2019 had 18 catches and wasn't even the pro bowl alternate.

Hooper is getting 10.5 to be a... top 10 TE. Aaron Donald makes significantly more than any other DTs and signed his deal in 2018. Mccaffreys new deal is more than zeke/gurley - but thats a case of all of them being all-pros. If he just gets like 11 or 12, then he'll get surpassed in like year 2 of his deal. Yeah - you're playing with fire a bit though. 5th round pick who hasn't gotten paid, and hasn't gotten that signing bonus. I don't think he'd hold out but he seems the type to vocally be upset.

Its a slap in the face at 11. He wants to be the McCaffrey of TEs, as he believes he is that much better than the others.

When Austin Hooper gets 11... And kittle is a lot better than him... He will get a lot more. 15 seems about right, wouldn't surprise me if it was more. He is a very good blocker, and also a tremendous athlete. 4 years younger than kelce too. Kittle prob signs for 4 years to set up another contract at age 30. My guess is 4/60ish 3 years of practical guarantees and he gets an extension after 3.

I mean... They had the 2nd best rushing attack. That would indicate some solid TE blocking, not sack numbers.. since kittle is probably running routes on pass plays. He will get the highest paid TE money, or he gets tagged and it becomes a problem. He's made nothing so far as a 5th rounder, so I assume there's a lot of incentive to get the deal done now so he can get a signing bonus. 4 and 60 or 6 and 90 seem like good numbers to me. Good TEs can really help rushing offenses too. Baltimore and SF were rushing beasts. Probably not a huge coincidence that the NE rushing attack went to hell after gronk retired too.

I think he'll get more than 15 - possibly considerably more. Especially if he's first team all-pro again.

Newsome's still hanging around too, so even if Decosta gets final say - he's got a HOF executive to lean on. The promotion was probably the only way to keep both of them. In any case - he did a great job. Took the Roman offense and really ran with it. Added deep threats outside, allows roman to use TE's as boundary threats (as well as beast blockers), added a one cut runner like ingram. I know john brown didn't play well there once LJ took over, but i think he would've been great there with Roman. Runs tight routes and is a good deep ball tracker.

They did have the most yards in the NFL last year, and 6th most points... The defense did a good job yardage wise but they had few takeaways (7 games with 0 takeaways, 2-5 in those games). Dak's coming off a year where he threw for 1100 more yards than ever before, kept INTs relatively low, sack numbers way down on a per snap basis.

Having a team not quit on you in a tank season is commendable imo. Watching gase's teams that are eliminated just loaf through the final weeks of the season makes me understand what he is as a coach.

I believe for a 1st timer itll be 2 games. But it might not be until 2021.

I mean - lawyers will have a lot of arguments around that charge. If it was just in the bed of the pickup or in the glove box and all he did was tell officers it was there i seriously doubt he gets anything for it.

They never said the firearm was unregistered. He's being charged with a certain level of crime, and possession of a firearm when charged with that crime also becomes unlawful possession.

Yeah - i don't want to speak for others but I can't say that I've always utilized good judgement when drinking. I'm in my 30s now, and hell, I still have friends who do this kind of crap. Probably changed for me when a kid i used to work with got in a fatal collision and ended up in jail for a few years. If you plan on driving - know when to just stop and say I'm good. Also know when to say - I'll get my car in the morning. I've left it at the bowling alley quite a few times in the last couple of years because it's not worth it. The DUI is one extreme, the horrible accident/possible death/jailtime is much much worse.

I know several people who have had DUIs and it's safe to assume it was not his first time. I think the gun part is a poor decision, but it being texas i always feel like people have guns in their cars since its an open carry state. The unlawful possession is related to his being inebriated right? Most of my friends who had this happen to them did seem to turn a corner and realize that you know... the harsh penalties for DUI are there to protect the other people on the road. You aren't untouchable. It was expensive, and incredibly inconvenient (the ignition lock thing comes out of your pocket, this is expensive, can cost you your employment etc). There's also the serial offenders who will just - keep doing what they're doing. Hopefully he takes this whole process to heart.

Reasons he can be a RB 2/3 1 - He carries a 4.0 YPC career average - not bad 2 - Has produced over 3000 scrimmage yards in 5 seasons 3 - Has good hands, this allows him to be a 3 down replacement if there's injuries at RB 4 - Is younger than Wade (Yeldon 26, Wade 29) 5 - He's still cheap at a sub 2 million dollar cap hit.

Watches are interesting to me - but i dont think i have the cash to get into it. Trying to save for a house upgrade. maybe someday And jailtime.

Does he have a copy of a check? Or was it cash? How do you corroborate the story as true? How do you confirm the money came from ownership, or Tomlin?

Yeah - there's potential for big plays there but for the most part you just want someone who will secure the ball, move forward, and who knows when to fair catch and let something go.

Nope - but when he was made eligible to draft in 05 I wanted nothing to do with him.

Everything I heard from someone who went to high school with him was that he was a scumbag.
