  1. Special teams (except for fg unit) has been embarrassing as hell all season. Leodis has vanished completely, punt coverage is as week as i've ever seen it and so is the kickoff team. All in all, there's not really a valid reason as far as results go to keeping this guy around.
  2. You have to help me understand as to why we always have to give everyone 3 years? Idk maybe it's just me but that 3 year rule thing hasn't worked for us in the last 14yrs. There's enough talent on this team and I don't believe that the players are totally being used effectively. Mainly on offense.
  3. I think the Idea is good, I can't really hate on it but lets be honest. LA and football just do not go together. It's not a football town at all and IMO that's one of the main problems they have in moving a franchise there. Toronto, I really really do not see that working out at all. I would have to think that the Buffalo series there ruined that whole idea. London would be a very tricky ordeal as well. Especially how the NLF would have to take into consideration that in England they use the Euro and the Pound which are both higher (about 30-40 cents) than the US Dollar. That means the cost of living over there wouldn't equal out on a normal pay scale like it would here in the states. Players would have to be payed a lot higher to play and live there. Another thing to think about is players safety in a foreign country. I can't say for sure somethin would happen but we have to keep it 100, you just never ever know. The players would also have easy access to any surrounding country. I know they have enough money to travel anywhere now but it's not as tempting during the season. Just a few thoughts. GO BILLS!!!
  4. Lol if the dolphins are that naive that they don't change their snap count playing against the leagues top rush defense then that's totally their fault. Every team studies the snap count, I mean why wouldn't you change it up? McKinney is just trying to save his job because he's fat and slow as molasses in January.
  5. Alright, for the sake of common sense....please explain to me why cutting Stevie Johnson would make any sense at all? He's our best receiver regardless of if he's had drops or fumbles. Give him a break already, the hate for him is getting old and it's honestly just ridiculous. Who can step up in his place? TJ Grahm? Marquise Goodwin? or wait better yet Marcus Easley? He leads the team in catches, yards and receiving TD's. He also has 33 first down catches.
  6. Exactly, he's a stand up guy who has always showed WNY so much love. He's never trash talked the city or the fans. I think people sometimes tend to think that just because he's a pro football player and he's on tv that he's not a human being. I never understood the hate that this guy gets you know? It's like people praise Marshawn Lynch but he talked so much crap about Buffalo as a city and the people. Stevie makes a couple of bad plays and people can't let it go.
  7. Very sad, Stevie put the team first and I commend him to the fullest degree.
  8. I don't think he was that bad either, I put most of the blame on RW.
  9. I know i'm gonna catch hell for this but honestly why not just start all over. I mean lets just be brutally honest about this whole situation, the organization made a bad hire. It's gotten to the point where the team isn't even showing up anymore and unfortunately that's a major reflection of the coaching staff as a whole. They way I look at it, why not? and unfortunately there's a very good chance we finish with a worse record than we had a year ago. I might sound like i'm overreacting but why should we wait for results just because it he's a new coach, or because we have a rookie QB, or so on and so forth. I don't see other teams around the league having the same mindset and empty expectations like we do. And if they do, they're a losing franchise too. To have the amount of talent that we do and a essentially a pretty healthy team over the past 4 weeks it makes me question the lack of leadership. It all starts from the top, players are players and yes you have to have those few in the locker room but the leadership comes from the coach first and foremost. Just a tought. Go Bills!!
  10. lmao, good call my dude lol. "Banner of the year"
  11. Exactly, I mean it's just a form of giving up you know? Winning teams just do that, they don't really talk they just go out there and win. I think more than anything is our franchise's acceptance of failure. Like it's ok to lose as long as we try attitude, our squad lacks that killer instinct.
  12. Accountability, lol what a freaking joke. Only teams with losing records talk about things like "accountability" and "taking ownership". I don't want to hear that nonsense anymore. Ever notice how you don't hear winning franchises talk about anything like that? All that stuff is just common place. I guess i'm just tired of the excuses. The whole franchise is accountable, from the owner down to the players.
  13. This is hogwash I tell you.......HOGWASH!!! lmao. You're complaining about the blue pants, we just got housed by a 2-6 team. Plus they're wearing almost the same exact thing on in your avi.
  14. You're 100% correct, I mean the guy isn't going to learn by handing the ball of 85 perce nt of the time. Hackett needs to mix it up and put the game in EJ's hands. If he's going to be our future QB he can't coddle him the whole way.
  15. That doesn't even come close to be IMO. There's countless plays in Buffalo history, even recent history that are worse. The Leodis McKelvin fumble on the kickoff against the patriots was worse than that.
  16. Haha me and my father were both talking about that right before Tuel threw the pick 6. I'm glad you brought this topic up because it's definitely something that baffles me. I mean we all know that Freddy can power the ball in, but sometime quickness at the goal line is just as effective. At some point Hackett has to mix it up down there, we can't just run every single play then be forced to pass on third down. Of course it's easier said in hindsight but it's basic football logic. Spiller should've been on the field for at least one snap.
  17. I mean I don't think we should jump to conclusions on Scott Chandler. Every player is going to have a bad game every once in a while, this was definitely the worst game that i've seen from him. Yeah we definitely need a more athletic TE that's without a doubt.
  18. TJ Graham is awful, he honestly shouldn't even be on an NFL roster unless he's being used primarily for special teams.
  19. Yeah I definitely noticed that too and It helped out a lot. I still think some of the play calling should just be mixed up from series to series. I like how we're working in the read option and reverses too, the guys on our offense need creative ways to get the ball into their hands in open space. I hope Marrone Continues to do so, it'll help with EJ's progression immensely.
  20. I respect your opinion on Nathaniel Hackett but I personally think that his game plan was absolutely awful. I think his game plan every week have been pretty suspect if you ask me. I understand that they want their identity to be an uptempo type run first offense but it's honestly just a mess. His play calling is the most predictable that I've seen since Dick Jauron was here. Run on first, run on second then we are looking at 3rd and long and HAVE to throw. He seems to take forever to realize that he needs do alter his play calling, when he finally chose to however it payed off big. I personally don't think this style of offense fits our personnel at all. Sorry, GO BILLS!!!
  21. No one is FORCED to be a Bills fan, it's 100% your choice. Yeah we've had an out right awful 12 year stretch but at the end of the day, we can't go back and change that. There's a lot to be optimistic about this year, I mean if the coaching staff has any type of competency (which I believe they do) then we should be a very competitive team. We have a nice roster and great young talent, the difference between this years staff and last years staff is that I think they will know how to utilize their players. I can say with complete conviction that we lost a good 3-4 games purely due to horrible coaching and abysmal defensive play calling.
  22. Yeah but I was thinking more along the lines of, if he comes into the season and new system late he's probably going to have a mediocre season at best. Which means that, most likely teams aren't going to be willing to pay top dollar for him like he's expecting.
  23. Byrd missing camp is only going to hurt him and hurt the team. It's understandable that he wants more money and yeah he deserves it but he's going about it in the absolute worst way. There's a good chance his market value for next year will be a lot less than what it is this year if he misses all pre-season.
  24. It'll be the same result, their offensive line is still terrible and Carson Palmer is about as mobile as Drew Bledsoe was. Anyone can look like an all star in shorts and no pads, if anything the biggest change is going to be the coaching.
  25. This list is garbage, I mean Dennis Pita?, Darrell Revis didn't even though he might be the best CB if this is based on 2012 like it should be then that's bogus. Troy Polamalu played like 4 games last year, Ndamukong Suh only had 35 tackles last year. That's just a few players off the top that I can think of. When players are on a list called the best players of 2012 and they barely played that list loses all credibility with me.
