Chan Will NOT Change How He Calls Plays
#34fan replied to Bronc24's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Answers: No, and HAIL, no! You'll run out of days in a year before you run out of reasons why Gailey, and his entire coaching staff need to leave town right away. I only need two: 9/9/2012, 9/30/2012, 10/7/2012, 10/21/2012. Okay that's four. Still.. How about ALL OF THEM. And... While stars are often made by winning teams, -winning teams are often made by winning coaches. I think that's the REAL lesson here. In a fairly brief coaching carreer, Harbaugh has dominated at every stop. Listening to Chan preach caution in EVERY facet of the game, can make a guy forget that sometimes chances pay off. -it sure did for San fran. -
Chan Will NOT Change How He Calls Plays
#34fan replied to Bronc24's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great thread. In light of these wacky comments, what conscious owner would continue to give this idiot (Gailey) the reigns to his franchise? Further proof of Ralph's blithering senility. Love ya, Ralph. -But this is just nuts.. -
Fireman Ed Quits...can Bills Elvis be far behind?
#34fan replied to BRH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's not bailing because his team is garbage. -He's doing it because of uncivilized behavior on the part of NYJ fans. He cites an instance following his teams latest embarassing loss. I guess someone gave him s#it at a stadium restroom for wearing a #6 jersey. Why would he be surprised at that? Most current Jets fans are the fair-weather variety. They had two decent seasons, and everyone loads onto the bandwagon wearing the jersey of the most popular player. -Dumasses. -
Bills/Colts Preview - Why the Bills will win in Indy!
#34fan replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Once the Colts negate our running game, the rest will be easy. We can't score in the red zone, and our DC won't blitz the rookie (Like any normal DC would.) Sure, It'd be nice to pull this one out, but I don't see how. -Bills 24 Colts 35 -
Of course I'd like to see the 90's look again. However, I'd also like to see a much darker, meaner variation of our current uni. Gun-metal grey helmets with the charging buffalo super-imposed in black or dark grey. Gun-metal jersey, with dark grey pants, and grey socks. Sounds creepy. -But Id love it.

Colin Kaepernick [get 'er dun!]
#34fan replied to buffalover4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to disagree. Rolling dice is not, and will NEVER be analagous to assessing NFL talent properly. The amount of legwork, homework and observation that (should) go into forming an accurate opinion on a player is MILES away from any drunken decision made at The Palms, the Rio, Bally's, Caesars, -You get the point. CK1 (Kaepernick) was not as big of a crap-shoot as people thought. His NCAA records speak for themselves. Kaepernick became a national football hero at a school not known for it's football prowess. He quickly gained a reputation as a giant-killer. Routinely knocking-off statistically superior opponents. Having watched him rise to many ocasions throughout his college career, last night's performance comes as no surprise. The only people surprised are those who weren't paying attention in the first place. Jim Harbaugh saw it. Pete Carroll saw it with Russell Wilson. Where some teams see an offensive GOLDMINE, others see an excuse to pass, and take the safe bet. Don't get me wrong, I think DB's are great. However, I've never seen a DB consistently effect the outcome of a football game.** I've never seen a DB lead their team to a superbowl, and I've never seen a DB mount a game-winning drive. Recognizing talent in others isn't a gamble, but a talent in itself. Those who don't have "the eye" for it, are left with no option but to go by the book. Sadly, they're often at home reading that book throughout the playoffs. GO BILLS. [**Admittedly, Deion Sanders came close.] -
The more I see of Tajh Boyd, the more I like his game. IMO, the ACC is where the best QB prospects are at. The only Pac-12 QB I'd even consider taking is Marcus Mariota, -and he won't come out 'til after the 2014 season. I only see five QB's worth taking this draft. Geno Smith Logan Thomas Landry Jones Tajh Boyd Stephen Morris Only two legitimate first rounders in this bunch. Smith, and Jones. It would be so much better to trade our first pick to Baltimore, for Tyrod Taylor, and a 3rd.

Thursday Game will dictate the rest of our season
#34fan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dolphins 38 Bills 17 Word is out, folks. We have a QB and a HC who fold like origami under pressure. Also, by refusing to blitz, Wanny puts this D out there to be completely disrespected. Tomorrow night will make Gailey 2-14 within our division since taking the reigns from Dick Jauron. It sounds dismal, but it's actually OK. I approve of anything that gets this regime closer to the (figurative) guillotine. GO BILLS! -(New QB, and regime in 2013!) -
Wake me up when the red helmets come back.

Pardon my french, but If the Colts and Broncs can do it, then why the f***k can't we?? Gailey's rebuild is staring down the barrel of another 4-12 season. As usual, all the homers and apologists on the board can say is 'whup, guess we're stuck with him'. Utter Nonsense. Chan's overall record with the Bills seems bad until you look at his divisional accomplishments. Then it seems AWFUL. 2-13 in the last three years in the AFCE!!! We've been dead last back to back years in our our own division! Despite all that, we cannot get this moron to do anything but hire blasts from his abyssmal past. -Lee... Wannstedt... Thigpen... I say FIRE THEM ALL. Enough with this retarded fear of the unknown. Gailey's afraid to play anyone on the roster but his group of core players. Wanny's afraid to blitz. Buddy's afraid to draft a franchise QB! This entire team, and this fanbase are collectively dying of FEAR. I just don't get it -We're already bad. Why not take a chance on something that could really work out??? Time to turn the page folks, I've been a Bills fan for thirty some-odd years, and I can't remember a more chickensh!t front office and coaching staff. I'm tired of the cowardice. I can't handle it anymore. You fail at your job, and your ass gets fired. -Period. Time to clean house.

T.J. takes blame for INT at end
#34fan replied to Ba Ba Ba Buffalo Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Losses like today's take a severe emotional toll on the players. It's going to be very hard for us to win another game all year. I think it's time to look forward to a new coaching staff, and a productive draft next year. IMO, this loss brings us closer to our franchise QB, and perhaps some young talented defensive players. -Time to let go, guys. The season is officially A WASH! Things to do: 1) Get the nurse to bathe and feed Ralph. 2) Fire Chan. 3) Fire Wanny. 4) Cut (our losses with) Mario. 5) Cut Fitz. -
An Edifying Discourse: The Case for Losing
#34fan replied to Juror#8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure. -Lose out so we can draft a stud QB, then watch in HORROR as Gailey dismantles everything good about the kid in order to fit his dumass offense? No, no, no, no, NO! -Gailey can start packing his s#!t tonight as far as I'm concerned. FIRE HIS ASS! Hire an Interinm coach, and THEN tank the season. Keep Buddy around as long as he's committed to drafting our franchise QB. -
Ralph is mad that the Bills are losing
#34fan replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ralph is mad for three reasons. 1) Diaper rash. 2) They no longer sell Gerber "carrot apple-mango" at the grocery store. 3) Al Davis won't return his phone calls. -

Totally agree. I'd rather have that retarded guy from "Sling Blade" running things than either of those two. -Least he had the balls to do what had to be done. -
I've got it.......CHARLIE WHITEHURST!

Gailey coaches like he knows how limited the talent is
#34fan replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"Gailey coaches like he knows how limited the talent is" Started by BisonMan, Today, 02:27 PM He Should know. After all, he's the one limiting it. I'm kind-of regretting all the s#!t I talked about Irsay in the offseason. I mean yah, he may be a total prick, but you can't knock him as an owner. To anyone left on this board who still thinks re-builds take five years, I submit to you the 2012 Colts. They absolutely cleaned house, and are playing better than ever before. Chan Gailey is a horrendous coach, and a TERRIBLE offensive coordinator. He was dead and buried in the NFL until we went and dug his tired @ss up. Stealing a quote from Stephen King's "Pet Sematary" -"Sometimes dead is better". Losing at this pace is unsustainable. OBD should not be afraid to start over. -
After our Colossal whipping in houston....
#34fan replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our ass is grass and Houston is Wade Phillips with a lawnmower. The only good that might come from this monumental smack-down, is Dave Wannstedt TAKING NOTES. Defensively, this should be an absolute clinic. -
Here we go! Another big city wants an NFL team.
#34fan replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like the death-rattle of the NFL to me. We're all so worried about China takin' over, but what's a couple of lead-laced toys and some sh*tty drywall compared to Simon Cowell, Nigel Lythgoe, Piers Morgan, and that @ssh#le from Hell's Kitchen? We had a good run, gentlemen. but, it looks like we're back to being Her Majesty's colonial b*tches. -
Jason Cole rips Wanny on Howard Simon show
#34fan replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So, so, true. Turner comes up with screens that I've literally never seen before. The man is pure offensive BRILLIANCE, but he can't execute the plays himself. Dumasses putting the ball on the ground. Fitzrivers tossing INT's. -All NOT NORV TURNERS FAULT. Norv isn't a very good Head Coach, -that's obvious, but as an OC, he's up there with the BEST in the league. Unlike Gailey who's LOUSY as an HC and TERRIBLE as an offensive coordinator. -
Changes Need To Be Made & Questions Need 2 B Answered ??
#34fan replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Changes Need To Be Made & Questions Need 2 B Answered ?? I agree. However, before that, some HEADS NEED TO ROLL. This is by far the worst Bills coaching staff I've ever seen. -WORST. There's no leadership, discipline, or accountability to be found on either side of the ball. The Nix/Gailey re-build is officially, without question, A FAIL. Fire Gailey and appoint an interim. Then fire Wannstedt and do the same thing. It really isn't that hard. The season is a wash, and it's time to look to the future. -
We can't match up with Houston in ANY aspect of our game. Fitz vs. J.J. "Squatch" is like me being challenged by a stack of sweet, buttery pancakes. -One way or another, they're GOING DOWN. We simply don't possess the horsepower to win this game. Even if we did, we're still hampered by Fitz's innaccuracy and Gailey's AWFUL, AWFUL, playcalling. Word is out, folks. Our opponents know that a day against the Bills is a day to put your name in the record books. This could be the ugliest game yet.
-
Could it end up like a Cleveland situation? Why not Let Los Angeles TAKE the team, along with the JUNK Front office. The NAME and the logo should stay in Buffalo along with a new owner and GM. -It'd be like a whole new beginning!!! I wouldn't mind that one bit.
-
Vick is looking more and more like McNabb every game. -I'm feeling embarassed for the guy. Anyway, It's been Foles-time in Philly for about a month now. Vick should be warming our bench by next season.
