  1. Really enjoying this Tampa - New Orleans game. Zero rooting interest, tons of big plays, tons of points, tons of wacky turnovers. A fun way to watch football.
  2. You're spending your Sunday getting apoplectic that the people who aren't gigantic homers refuse to buy into your delusion that Tremaine Edmunds, who couldn't have had a less impressive stat sheet during his career in Buffalo, was somehow this impactful player and not a wasted draft pick. How is that anymore fruitful?
  3. The Bills defense never missed a beat after he left, since he was replaced with Bernard, a markedly better player whose name you actually hear during games. The Bears also added lots of other players on their defense, actual difference-makers like Montez Sweat , and that's what is making the difference, not Tremaine Edmunds and his weekly disappearing act. Go look at the rest of that draft and see how much the Bills blew it by trading up and wasting a 1st rounder on him.
  4. Kickoff TDs are arguably the most exciting play of the game. Seems dumb to take the chance of those away just because the commissioner is a dope that can't stop himself from tinkering with the game.
  5. Has he been doing good things on the field for Chicago that don't show up on the stat sheet? His numbers and salary suggest a player that's being wildly overpaid.
  6. Yeah, we're definitely not "spoiled."
  7. I watched my favorite football team lose the Super Bowl almost every year of elementary school, then they lost a playoff game on a last-second illegal forward pass when I was in 10th grade and didn't make the postseason again until I was 34.
  8. Wow, Houston had Allen running for his life all game, and NE's line is way worse than ours.
  9. The Concussion Legacy Foundation finds it in every single former player they test for it, too. Raises a lot of questions. Sampling bias? Do they ever test the brains of people who didn't play contact/combat sports professionally? Does everyone possibly have this, to some degree?
  10. Great. Teams who get a new head coach mideseason seemingly always get a weird emotional boost and win his first game. Who are the Jets playing next, again? Oh...
  11. He asked them to sign Beasley and Brown again in 2022, supposedly
  12. Does KC play like 92% of their toughest games at Arrowhead, or am I just being a bitter Bills fan?
  13. Yeah, from his press conferences I kinda inferred that he's completely hands-off during portions of the game. I don't know if that is really the case or if it's a way for him to pass the buck on wild decisions (e.g. three straight passes from your own two).
  14. Just trade Allen for Ezekiel Elliott and sign Ryan Tannehill so McDermott can run the ground-and-pound boring offense of his dreams.
  15. He's never been very good, to be honest. Has four total 100 yards games, despite playing most of his career on bad teams where he had tons of opportunities to build up stats in garbage time.
  16. We need to start evaluating backups on whether they can play well and not on if they're friends with Allen or not. Trubisky comes in yesterday and they waste a CRUCIAL down because they don't even trust him enough to let him throw a single pass.
  17. I thought we would've done what NE did with Gronkowski and Hernandez, which was wildly successful before the whole murder thing.
  18. He was absolutely terrible using timeouts with Philly, though. It was comical.
  19. McDermott got Beane the GM job. The only way he fires McDermott is if he's a traitorous lowlife, which he isn't. If one goes, they both have to go. We are kind of in a "Andy Reid in Philly" situation right now.
  20. They are just good enough to make the playoffs, buy they can't win a championship, as currently constructed. Sorry for the basketball references, but we're the Atlanta Hawks back when they had Dominique Wilkins, the Philadelphia 76ers when they had Allen Iverson, the Indiana Pacers with Reggie Miller, etc.
  21. Coleman, for as much of a space cadet as he is, seems to come up with big-time plays occasionally. They did have a gutsy second-half performance. Two 4th quarter turnovers by the defense was huge and clutch. The AFC East sucks.
  22. We're overly conservative all game and then started throwing when they should've been conservative. Maddening. This whole staff has no prayer of every winning a SB. Do you want to keep winning wild-card games before getting dispatched by better-coached teams in later rounds, or do you want to try something different and possibly go to the Super Bowl.
  23. No flow, no identity, no imagination, neuters the QB who has arguably the strongest arm in league history, predictable and conservative play calling...what else can you say?
  24. Hollins looks so slow, man
