  1. In all seriousness, we started getting called for everything after pulling ahead of KC by two games early. During that same period, they were able to topple the best team in the league on the back of a zero-penalty performance. Probably just a coincidence!
  2. The D-Line Rotation is a monster that must be constantly fed!
  3. Only one Bill has gotten double-digit sacks during McDermott's tenure here - Leonard Floyd with 10.5 in 2023. They immediately let him walk, of course.
  4. If it makes you feel any better, the media never gives the Bills any credit for routinely beating them in the regular season.
  5. He did go from no income taxes to the highest-taxed state for millionaires, though.
  6. His passing in the second half seemed more purposeful. Quick decisions, not as much freelancing. I love seeing him whip one down the field on a rollout here and there, but for awhile it looked like a broken play on every passing down.
  7. When you have the best QB in football and still struggle to get into any rhythm in regards to the passing game, that is pretty alarming. It's difficult to look at what this coaching staff is doing with Allen as a fan and not be discouraged; I can't even imagine how he must feel as the guy actually experiencing it. I just don't see how a deep playoff run is possible when giving your best player opportunities to succeed is like pulling teeth, but that could very well change.
  8. The coaching chasm between those two teams is gigantic, though. That has to be taken into the equation.
  9. Wasted a whole minute of clock by not kicking on the first 4th down.
  10. Tua publicly calling out other players was the nail in the coffin for their season. He has every right to be frustrated, but the minute that info stops staying in-house, it's just disaster time.
  11. It really speaks to how your entire career as a QB is so dependent on your team/coaching situation. He looked awesome in 2017, and then Foles was able to come right in and score tons of points himself. Good franchise, good system. Then you get guys who end up on the Browns and Jets and just flounder.
  12. I know I'm going full "Old man yelling at clouds" here, but the game simply isn't as enjoyable to watch as it was even a few years ago. All the teams seem interchangeable style-wise, tons of guys out with injuries every week, officiating as bad as it's ever been, nonstop gambling commercials (I'm a bettor, but enough), etc. Not a great product right now.
  13. I would like to see them win a Super Bowl. I'd actually rather see them miss the playoffs than get in a win a Wild Card game, because then we would be able to draft better players. The goal is the cigar.
  14. We really didnt need any more evidence that the Jets and Browns are teams where QBs' careers die, but the game last night was a pretty big chunk of wood to throw on the already-existing fire.
  15. Bizarre season so far. The crappy teams look great sometimes...all the good teams kinda suck in their own special way...
  16. I figured he'd be fine once he got the Jets stink off him.
  17. Amazing how sad-sack franchises always find a way to lose games.
  18. Seems like every TNF game is designed to increase sportsbook activity, because they aren't really watchable unless you're actively gambling on it.
  19. The way it should be, considering that nothing matters once the ball is a frog's hair over the goal line. Automatic TD.
  20. How about a kickoff rule that essentially guarantees that the drive starts at the 35 combined with allowing the kickers to bring their own worn-in balls to the game? A couple of first downs pretty much means three points now. On the other hand, a controversial rule I love is that if you fumble out of the endzone while trying to score a TD, the other team gets it as a touchback.
  21. Poor pass-blocking, receivers who can't get open, and a coaching staff that abandons the running game when it's working is a bad combo for a QB.
  22. It wouldn't shock me if he retired in the next couple of years. I think he might do it after this year if they somehow won the Super Bowl.
  23. If we lock the #1 seed up by Week 15, should we continue to play the starters and risk injury, or put them on the bench and risk them developing rust?
