  1. Haha, great story. I think he's probably the best TE in Bills history, which is like being the fastest kid at fat camp, but he was still The Man.
  2. Wasn't it Leonard Smith against Denver? I think the Odomes high-step was the next week after he stripped Willie Gault.
  3. My dad took me to a trading card show when I was about 13, and I got to shake hands with him. I was already probably like 5'10", so I wasn't exactly a small kid, and during that handshake, his middle finger landed like halfway up my forearm.
  4. In an alternate universe, he doesn't veto the trade to Buffalo, catches a bunch of absolute lasers from JA17, secures a huge 2nd contract with the Bills, makes way more money than he did bouncing around the last few years, and doesn't go broke until 2026.
  5. That was the preseason from hell. Leinart was signed off the street a day or two before, and if he had been merely average in that game, he likely would've been the Week One starter.
  6. This is pure frustration talking, and I absolutely love it coming from Dolphins players. Reminds me of Louis Oliver temper tantrums from the 90s.
  7. Dude, if you watch Cam Newton talk for 15 seconds and don't immediately come to the conclusion that he is an awful human being, your ability to read people is irreparably broken. He sucks in every way imaginable.
  8. And Reggie Bush and Mario Williams!
  9. I feel like they people who enthusiastically showed up to camp for years and had to talk themselves into guys Kevin Kolb, Matt Flynn, EJ Manuel, and Brian Brohm should be prioritized over Johnny-come-lately Bills fans.
  10. Whatever. Pretty clear that his game drops precipitously when the temperature does the same.
  11. Exactly, but unfortunately the insane level of nonstop homerism on this site doesn't allow for pragmatic thinking like this We just need to be good fans and agree that going full-Space Jam carries the exact same amount of risk for an ACL tear as playing croquet with young children on the front lawn.
  12. He's clearly a bit of a space cadet. I like the guy and think he will be a decent WR, but it is what it is.
  13. Suffering an injury while doing a bunch of windmill dunks in a charity basketball game would be right on brand for him. They were good dunks, though, I have to admit.
  14. I am someone who wasn't particularly charmed by his opening press conference like most people seemingly were. He seemed like a total space cadet. That being said, he made enough plays his rookie year to make me bullish on his future. Let's give this guy a chance before we start burying him.
  15. Sure, but traveling all the time for work really wears on you, especially at $80K a year. Jim Monos probably made six times that as a director of scouting, and he wasn't exactly Bill Polian.
  16. I think the issue is that guys who are consistently great at scouting have opportunities to make a much higher salary in other front office positions.
  17. I think he was. He was electric as a returner, and I think that possibly clouded their judgment on his coverage skills. "We'll put him and Clements back there and have two guys at corner who are a threat to score on every INT." He wasn't a bad player, but Greer was better. Greer a good run with New Orleans, I think, after he left Buffalo.
  18. He absolutely had a nose for the ball. There were a lot of defensive diamonds-in-the-rough during the Gailey era that McDermott could've really shaped into awesome players.
  19. I could be misremembering, but it felt like they chose to start McGee over him for like 20-25 games after Greer had proven to be the better corner.
  20. Many have already said London Fletcher, but it bears repeating just how criminally underrated his time on the Bills was. Ray Lewis and Zach Thomas made the Pro Bowl over him every year at MLB, even in years where Fletch had better stats. I'm glad he finally started getting his due as a Redskin - he was a truly great player.
  21. Please just let us buy games a la carte. I have to get the Ticket to watch the Bills and don't give a rat's ass about being able to watch the Cardinals play the Seahawks nine times a year ar 4PM.
  22. The Gailey years all run together for me.
  23. You know you're a Bills fan when you can reel off 15 all-time horrific losses off the top of your head, yet somehow know that there's still probably another 10-12 that you missed.
  24. LMAO, they will change absolutely nothing of significance in regard to their coaching philosophy. Will be the same song and dance as it is every year. Hopefully, they get a few postseason breaks this time around.
