80s are way cooler. I would feel much better about Keon Coleman's future if he was #83 rather than #0.
-
I like seeing the WRs wear numbers in the 80s too, but if he makes the team, he'll ending up changing it to something goofy like 6 or 19.

A random one I just remembered that meant a lot to me because it was the first game I remember watching with my dad, a die-hard Buffalonian who got me into Bills fandom - an early season match up against the Houston Oilers at the Astrodome in 1989. This game had everything. Kelly and Moon in a shootout. A blocked FG TD return. A blocked punt TD return. Went to OT where the Bills won 47-41 on a Kelly-to-Reed TD pass. If this exact game had been replicated in the Super Bowl, it would be inarguably known as the greatest football game of all time.

I remember that one. We needed a furious comeback at the end to pull it out. JaMarcus Russell looked great, from what I remember, for Oakland. The one memory that stands out for me was that Lindell's game-winning kick, the entire team had their arms locked other than Aaron Schobel, who stood behind everyone. Always liked him a little less after that.

Yes, we all love the classics, but what random-ass games stick out for you as a great memory? I'll start by nominating our home game against Miami in the 2002 season. Ricky Williams running wild, the snow coming out of nowhere, Bledsoe and Moulds taking over, Jim Kelly running up and down the sidelines in jubilation. Just a great, fun game all around.

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
T.E. replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Players drafted in the 6th and 7th rounds have between a 10-15% chance of making the team, so yes, certain rounds count significantly less. https://www.google.com/amp/s/en.as.com/nfl/nfl-draft-odds-what-percentage-of-players-actually-make-a-roster-n/%3foutputType=amp -

Who knows? Andre Reed was a 4th round pick. Terrell Owens was a 3rd rounder. Both were guys from small schools who were relatively unknown. The point is that they're not even taking a chance on anyone. And no, 7th rounders that they draft solely for special teams don't count. The WR room blows, and they're fine to roll with it because the coach ultimately doesn't like an offense centered around downfield passing. -

People really underestimate just how much Allen bails this offense out. There was a point late last season where analytics showed his receivers getting the least amount of separation in 2024 (Ravens had the most). Just tons of plays of him running around, looking for anyone open, not finding them, them having to try to thread the needle. It's not sustainable long term, and not doing everything you can to help your best player because you expect him to constantly pick up the slack is not going to translate to Super Bowl victories.- 635 replies

Plus they already drafted a guy with multiple sexual assault allegations. As a classy franchise, they will limit themselves to one creep per draft.
-
It would be one thing if it was a he said/she said thing that you could let play out, but it seems like there is pretty credible evidence of guilt. When you are apologizing, offering hush money, and blaming alcohol...I mean, those aren't things innocent people do, right?
-
Read the Isaiah Bond affidavit and then ask yourself if you would burn a pick on that guy. Seems there is text message evidence where he admitted to what she is accusing him of. He is probably more likely to be convicted of a serious crime than he is to be drafted.

There are teams in this league that would lose 1 or 2 games a season tops with Allen, and he ended up with a coach who wants to emulate the Kordell Stewart-era Pittsburgh Steelers.
-
We never got over the loss of Lee Smith.
-
Whew...I got nervous when the last pick wasn't defense. Reassuring that we're back on track.
-
McDermott wants a run-first offense. Even though he has the league MVP at QB who also happens to have probably the strongest arm ever, we need to run and play Cover 2 defense. That's how you get close to the Super Bowl.
-
Got the defensive covered, now the priority is special teams. It actually is funny.

Jayden Blue sounds like the name of someone who wins Best New Starlet at the AVN Awards.

Is this a make or break season for the defense?
T.E. replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think I've seen enough to come to the conclusion that they way they coach defense in general is never going to change and that they will likely continue to give up important drives at the worst times. They need to go all in on offense to try to win shootouts against KC, but they are going back to the drawing board and using the exact same blueprint that hasn't worked. They're just incredibly stubborn about winning on their terms only. -
It makes for good TV. He's bickering with one of the other hosts right now haha
-
They have scars from the team moving, and that makes them less likely to turn on the team, even when they are doing ridiculous stuff. It's a bit analogous to how some Bills fans are so traumatized by the playoff drought that it makes them less likely to criticize the current front office/coach for not being able to get over the hump in January.

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
T.E. replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I said the 9th guy in our rotation, not the 9th DT picked in the draft. -

What's ironic about it, exactly? Who do you think will have a bigger impact for his respective team?
