  1. You have to be closer to the receivers to actually break up the pass.
  2. This is my position. It's not about finding someone who we know is definitively better; it's more about trying something new. I could coach this team to 10-7 with Allen - they're not going to start missing the playoffs if we shake things up a bit.
  3. I'd love to see them stop the completely ineffective DL rotation, just play the best four down lineman for most of the game, and see where the chips fall.
  4. Everyone forgets that Rex Ryan took the Jets to two AFC Championship games (winning on the road against both Manning and Brady along the way) with Mark Sanchez at QB. Everyone forgets that Doug Marrone was a bad officiating call away from taking a Blake Bortles-led Jaguars team to the Super Bowl.
  5. I would also like to add that I really dislike the identity this team has, and that's all on the coach. We take what the defense gives us on offense; we react to what the offense does on defense...it's all really passive and designed with an objective of not losing rather than playing to win. It's created this environment where the players are flat for most of the game and then borderline-panicky during big moments. They're soft, and that fact rears it's ugly head every time we play a physical team that is well-coached.
  6. No. The identity he has constructed for this team requires the offense to essentially be close to perfect for long stretches both in games and over the course of a season to consistently win. Tough to do over a playoff run, though they were halfway there in 2021 before you-know-what happened.
  7. I think the only hope for something comparable to that with our cap situation is to hit on a draft picks, but that requires some draft capital to be spent on that position.
  8. Yes, the fan whiteout is something a WNBA franchise would do, and we were rightfully punished for it.
  9. There were three big defensive series where we needed a stop, and they gave up two long TD drives and the game-winning FG on said series. They always, always, fail to step up in big moments.
  10. He's also reactive and plays not to lose, and it's created this atmosphere where the team turtles in big moments because they have no moxie or swagger whatsoever.
  11. They're soft and have zero edge. But what's important is that they are all good friends and make social media videos together and have pizza night at each other's houses.
  12. Many Bills fans like having a perennial playoff team and see a SB win as a nice bonus rather than the only ultimately satisfying outcome. Weird, but that is a actual viewpoint from some in this fanbase.
  13. I honestly don't even know how much say in the gameplan someone like Babich even has. I mean, doesn't the defense looks EXACTLY the same every year, regardless of who the DC is? What's the common denominator?
  14. Gonna happen again next year too, by the way, because what needs to happen won't until it's too late.
  15. Their defense and coaching staff is markedly better than ours. How inferior are they, really?
  16. It is just unreal how few times a McDermott defense can come up with a big stop. Letdown after letdown after letdown. It is NEVER going to change either.
  17. It's like this regardless of who we play.
  18. Not liking how this is shaping up...
  19. Brady burns a down on a stupid play almost every set of downs.
  20. Don't worry about burning clock here. Prioritize the scoring of a TD.
  21. That's what we gotta see from Keon
  22. Ray Davis is the call there? Okay.
