  1. Watching this "Top 100 Players" ticker at the bottom of the screen, and Matt Stafford is listed at 58. There are 57 players you'd rather have than Stafford? Really?
  2. Would've been 10/13 for about 165 without the Davidson drop...good half by him.
  3. I want to see Shavers make the team just because he wears a normal number.
  4. I thought Trubiskey had a nice half. Some decent throws, was glad to see him take a couple shots.
  5. Fans won't drink as much in the parking lot if they know they don't have to be outside in the cold the rest of the day. That's the only justification I can think of lol
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong, but NYG scored on every drive they had, right?
  7. It's a ploy to curry favor with McDermott and secure the job.
  8. Amazing that a ref was right there and didn't see that he was obviously out of bounds. How does that consistently happen in this league?
  9. I would ironically love to have Flacco as the backup.
  10. Okay, we don't need a flag on every play, refs. This is effectively a scrimmage.
  11. Good seeing White back in the red, white, and blue!
  12. McDermott got outcoached by Mike McDaniel in a playoff game at home where the other team was starting a third-string QB. McDermott got outcoached by Doug Marrone and Bill O'Brien in playoff games as well. It's not like he only struggles against all-time greats. At the end of the day, he is a defensive-minded coach who has lost to the same team in the postseason four out of five years because his defense that is tailored exactly how he wants it is giving up over five TDs a game against that team. I don't know how much more we need to see here.
  13. I love how people act like that 9-7 season was some Lombardi-esque coaching job. Mularkey and Marrone both went 9-7 too (and those teams were markedly better than the 2017 squad) but just didn't luck out with seeding.
  14. Americans strive for greatness, which is why we have the best country on Earth by a country mile. And no, failing to make a single solitary Super Bowl when you have the most gifted QB in NFL history isn't "good enough." Also, LMAO at anyone accusing Bills fans (of all people) of demanding immediate gratification.
  15. Are coaches like Jauron, Gailey, Marrone, and Ryan somehow not consistently making the playoffs with Josh Allen at QB?
  16. The Baltimore game was the most egregious of the three. That had boat-race written all over it until McDermott got so freaked out about anyone possibly making a mistake that he basically tried to sit on the lead for an entire half, and they ended up needing a miracle forced fumble and dropped pass just to survive.
  17. Everyone forgets because of the ultimate margin of victory, but he coached ultra-conservative for the first three quarters against the #7 seed Broncos.
  18. An issue is that the team doesn’t seem to be terribly resilient in important moments from a mental standpoint, and that's a direct mirroring of the coaching staff. There is something missing there - I don't know if it's not having an extra gear, or lacking a sense of urgency, or that they can't compartmentalize, or are just plain soft - but something is off in that department.
  19. This is a franchise with zero Super Bowl victories and an all-time winning percentage that's under 0.500. Being the hottest chick at fat camp doesn't necessarily make you hot.
  20. Aaron Rodgers only playing in one Super Bowl is a great example of what can happen when you stick with the same coach who constantly underachieves in the playoffs and pair said coach with a front office who doesn't want to allocate top draft picks to offense because they expect the QB to pick up the slack. Who does that sound like?
  21. He is a good culture guy, but sorry, he consistently coaches tight in big games and turtles. Too many times, he's had an A/B decision and picked "A" when the answer should've clearly been "B." Also, he coaches not to lose, which doesn't win Super Bowls. The second half of the Baltimore game last year was a perfect example of that, and barring a couple of gaffes by Mark Andrews, the Bills lose that game because he was too afraid to put a team away. That thinking creeps into the roster too, which is the reason his squads, especially on defense, have no edge or bite.
  22. It's funny - I used to care WAY more about training camp and preseason when we sucked. I guess because that was the only time of the season when you could have any optimism lol.
  23. That's usually my go-to because I just like to hear general opinions about the team without getting too much in the weeds with play-calling and stuff like that. I actually think Talbot is the more knowledgeable of the two, even though (as you mentioned) Parrino has more access.
  24. Haven't heard of it - will give it a listen though based on your recommendation!
