For that the WR has to first out muscle the defender...Sadly our brady-bunch hasn't been anywhere near these defenders.

If you looked at the big picture...this is a poor return from the draft class. These all have been role players...not blue chip players.

There was already a lot of chaos in that building. Now the Interim HC has made more by giving control to someone else. The QB is a friend of the OC whose play calling duties were stripped off from him. It will be hard to see who is calling the shots in that building. The Bills will have to leverage this and come with their gun's blazing. McDermott is a better coach and he should have his team prepared for this moment. Also, the Bills have their own ghosts to clear up...their QB went 9 for 30, one of the worst performance as a QB in the league over 30 years....I am sure he wants to correct that blemish on his career.

I doubt the Bills are paying $8M for a guy to work on the screen game. Samuel is a bonafide downfield threat...The Bills have not been able to leverage him yet.

I am glad he is getting his shot....He could become the heart and soul of this defense. I see him more like a Troy Polamalu I want to see our run defense hold up. They have had it difficult in the past with Hall. Isn't Mosley past his prime?

The Bills lost their #1 and #2 WR from last year (whether we like it or not, but that is fact). They also moved their #3 WR (Shakir) to a #1 WR role. Finally, they did not bring in a #1 or #2 (It could be argued that Samuel was a #2 at the minimum, but we have barely used him to be called a #1 or #2). Besides these, we have replaced a few journeymen WR in Sherfield and Harty with Hollins and MVJ and that. hasn't worked out. WR is all about having chemistry and right now there is none, including with the two TEs. This pretty much sums up the Bills struggles.

Except for the Safeties the Defense has been good...Bernard coming backing into the lineup last week was a big boost and so has been the encouraging play of Dorian Williams...Of course, Douglas and Benford have had outstanding play at CB

It might have something to do wiht the WRs being named Diggs, Davis, Beasley and Sanders. We definitely are winning yesterday if we had Davis and Diggs.
