They could by just by Kneeling down. Anyways, even without kneeling they got ZERO first downs in 7 drives last Saturday!

Bills plan for Tuel as week 1 starter
ganesh replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, it has been the Patriots Running game that has KILLED us in the recent past than Brady. -
Key to the Patriots game is gonna be Freddie
ganesh replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The key players are actually going to be Mario and Carrington. If these two guys can put the heat on Brady and keep his A** on the floor of RWS, we got a chance -
I think we are past the point of having a coaching staff that drafts player A at X position and transforms them to play position Y.

And yet he traded for Randy Moss!!!! I would have to blame Rogers for his exit and not the Bills coaching staff...He signed with the Bills with the clear understanding that besides SJ there was no WR on this team and yet he could not transition from a UDFA to grab that 2nd WR spot. In fact there were two open starting spots with SJ eventually moving to the slot. People always want to blame others for their woes, but when they had full control of their destiny and yet chose to ride the plank, they deserve to be let go.

Glad we took EJ and not Smith look at this report

Kolb plays scared and is too Fragile for the NFL.
ganesh replied to 1B4IDie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And so did Rob Johnson, JP Losman and Trent Edwards. -
Bills reportedly concerned Kolb's career over

Agree and Disagree...This front office blew it the same way Gailey did not really see the difference between Edwards and Fitz and then cut Edwards after three games. However, Jackson while healthy did not show anything to this coaching staff to retain him. Why would they let him go, if they were sure he was better than Kolb. Kolb is like Rob Johnson and Trent Edwards...Plays well in practice, but just doesn't feel the rush around him and takes unnecessary hits and does not have the physical strength of a Rothelisberger or Rivers to come back from the hit(s). I am not sure why Fitz is even in this conversation. There is no way for the Bills to know in April that EJ and Kolb are going to be hurt after Game 3 of Preseason. It is entirely possible that Fitz could have been hurt if he had been the backup. Fitz did not want to be the backup in Buffalo. It would have really been an uncomfortable situation with the Veterans and the Rookie....Look at the situation in NY....Do the veterans play for Sanchez or for Geno Smith...By replacing Fitz with Kolb, at least the team don't have any direct ties with Kolb and really don't care if it is EJ or Kolb. This is simple common sense to picking your 3 QBs. -
Don't we already have Brad Smith and multiple threads discussing whether we need to keep him on the roster or not? Why add another one to the misery!
-
For EJ to succeed this team needs to commit to Running the football and playing STOUT defense. We cannot put the game in the hands of EJ in his rookie year, that is a recipe for disaster. It demotivates the rookie as well as the veterans around him.

Bills bringing in Leinart, Beck for tryouts
ganesh replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be great...as the guy who replaced Tommy Maddox went on to play in three super bowls and win two of them!!!....May be a stepping stone for EJ. -
I think we're overreacting with the game yesterday.
ganesh replied to BillsFan3434's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My biggest disappointment was that our offense went 3-and-out on their last SEVEN drives. For guys who are fighting for their roster spot including our 'stable of talented wide receivers' it was a shame that they could not get ONE first down on those seven drives. That showed LACK of EFFORT. On the biggest stage of their lives, they were not motivated? Something is very wrong here. -
I was with you on your koolaid until I hit the above bolded line!....This fr*** line gave up 220 yards rushing and had no pressure on Rex Grossman who torched us for 171 yards!

Three seasons ago, Brad Smith burned the Bills twice while playing for the Jets when the WILDCAT was still a glamour thing. Somehow, it became a fantasy of this front office to get him in FA. Now in his 3rd season with the Bills, he is yet to really be part of any wild cat package and the NFL itself has moved on from the wildcat stuff to the Read option...Now the Bills are foolishly trying to hold on to him in the hope of making something out of nothing. The Bills might be better on the upside to keep Kaufman or Da'rick Rogers on the roster.

But that is exactly the problem. You don't want your DT to be a sprinter and run like a Linebacker. You want your DT to hold the point of attack and close any running holes. Unfortunately, ever since we have had KW play the DT position we have been in the bottom in the Run game. I hope Alan Branch will take more time clogging the middle and KW remains on the bench.,

Don't forget Mike Tirico...He is one of the best play-by-play on TV. I love Greg Gumble too. +1....Awesome

Let us not give too much credit to the Shanahan's....The star of that team last year was not RGIII but Alfred Morris.....His running changed their team. And the lucked out with his drafting. I agree. This front four has to take the blame in their inability to stop the run in the past three+ seasons. And Kyle Williams is a constant in that line. He has to be able to take some responsibility. KW is too small and gets powered off the line by stronger OL.

Bills bringing in Leinart, Beck for tryouts
ganesh replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The reason for Leinart and Beck is probably because of their experience in a WC offense. Batch and Leftwich do not have the same experience in the system -
