Higgins at 22 looks more and more likely, lol. -
Internally there’s some love for Tee Higgins

Absolutely going to be glued to this today! Hopefully Tee shows out. -
If you cant be productive with Rodgers, and LaFleur, you might just not have enough left in the tank. Jimmy G was an absolute beast with the Saints, but it just might be that hes truly on the decline.

Both things can be true at the same time. They could have awful takes, but also do produce some good data/analytics. I don't think it has to be either 100% agree with everything, or 100% disagree. Much like debates on these boards, just because I may not see eye to eye with a fellow poster on one topic, doesnt mean I have to disagree with all their views on every other topic. PFF have employees that have admitted to blatant trolling, which I think, is why most have every right to be angry at some of their content. But again, they do have useful content as well.

Lions to let Graham Glasgow hit free agency

That's a bit of an undersell on Glasgow. He was a top ten player at his position last year. -

Front Office Poll of WR Prospect Tiers (ESPN Insider)
BillsFan17 replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its going to be tricky with assessing the values. I'm sure every team will have different boards, but feels like some of these guys might be a little too high for 22, but some have little chance of lasting until 51. While most have discussed moving up in round one, I would love to see Beane find a way to have an extra second rounder. Possibly double dip at WR in the second. e.g. draft Gross-Matos in the first, and grab Aiyuk and Mims in the second. I know, pipe dream, but isnt that what the internet is for? -
Yeah, its weird offering other opinions from educated and informed people. What a weird thing to do. I pointed out someone who offered a well informed, well rounded, concise argument for and against the signing. That's all, moving on now.

Harrison Phillips recovery update
BillsFan17 replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To be fair, numbers are contextual. The same way, we can point out JP sack numbers, when in reality, JP was more of a right place at the right time, oppose to generating pressures him self. Moreover, some of the scouting reports on HP coming out where that he lacked the juice (so-to-speak) to be a true 3 tech. It's entirely possible. If we sign someone, they will slide Harry over, but I would think they would maybe use him across a couple different fronts depending on situations. -
Harrison Phillips recovery update

I think this is another testament to how much the Pegulas have put into advancing the sports medicine element of things. To me that is going to be a staple in not just attracting players, but also with retaining players. These guys understand that durability/availability is the key to them getting paid. Well, by all accounts Buffalo is one of the foremost teams in regards to facilities now, and their investment in overall sports medicine. Glad to see Harry on the right track to get back and get healthy. That being said, if we can still land a guy like Reader, I do it all day. -
Yes, I trust the FO and coaching staff as well. That doesn't mean you cant have opposing view points. Doesn't mean the front office is without fault. Why this becomes so personal for some people is beyond me. If Joe Marino had said more positive than negative, I sincerely doubt there would be this cristicsm of referencing his take on the situation. I will admit, in a way, I do enjoy the spin cycle of Bills fans hating, disliking, disagreeing with the media at any cost. UNLESS that media is positive about the Bills. Then they are okay again.

Bills resign Spencer Long, Foster, and Levi
BillsFan17 replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have legit never in my life heard of a contrarian rabbit. I even went as far as googling it, and bupkiss. I understand what being contrarian, but what does the rabbit part have... ya know what, over it. -
Bills resign Spencer Long, Foster, and Levi
BillsFan17 replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bold strategy, mock them not being able to read, by writing something out. Seem like the kinda fella that puts speed bumps on handicap ramps. That aside, Long is really the only player I think is worth while on that list. Would love to see Foster regain some of the rookie magic, but I think he will have a really hard time making the final roster. -
Yup, that was the goal, to wow you. Again, until you know Joe's credentials, you are punching above your weight class. Maybe sit this one out, unless you have something legit to bring to the table.
-
Yes, that's all Joe Marino is, a podcaster. That's his only credentials. Did you even listen to the podcast and the breakdown before you shot it down? Or was making the comment with both basis easier?

Redskins and Tua at pick 2 - Smokescreen or real?
BillsFan17 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is Dan Synder, I sincerely doubt he admits he was wrong one year removed from drafting Haskins. Moreover, this is very different than the Cards, who brought in a specific coach, knowing full well Rosen wasnt going to fit his offense. The wheels were in motion once they hired Kingsbury to find a QB more suited for his offense. Insert Murray. I know Norv Turner's son Scott is now the OC in Wash, I dont really see him having the type of offense that absolutely has to have one type of passer over the other. Washington would honestly be best suited getting a kings ransom for the pick from the Dolphins and only drop back a couple of spots. They are likely to still get one of Simmons, Brown, or one of the top OTs. -
Jets Releasing Trumaine Johnson
BillsFan17 replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Roberts and I believe Hairston?!?! Poole was not bad for them but I doubt he goes back. They will have some cap space to play with, and most of their rumours are linked to bolstering the line. I sincerely hope they have another off season of massive spending on one or two players and ignore their depth, yet again. -
I really hope folks listen to Joe Marino's locked on podcast. Very very informative, especially in regards to the Norman signing with his most recent pod. Does a good job of putting to bed the scheme narrative and how we see Levi Wallace struggle in this system, due to athletic limitations, Norman who is older, and vastly less athletic is not going to magically be good in the scheme, because he one good year in said scheme back in 2015. Literally in the post you quoted of mine I covered the exact point that Norman could have zero staying power and could be cut.

I mean, that's a fantastic problem for them to have, ironically enough. Skura was playing some of his absolute best football before the injury in week 12. However, like you mentioned Mekari filled in extremely well. Considering they have some legit talent all along the line, losing Yanda will hurt, but they may be able to plug the hole with what they already have on the roster. They only have around 30 million in cap space if I'm not mistaken. Idk how Yanda's retirement factors into that figure...

I hear ya, and believe me, I really hope the guy turns it around. I hope that somehow Beane was right, and McDermott can rejuvenate the guy. I mean, ..... I'm from Long Island, do you know the amount of texts I got minutes after the signing ragging on Beane and the Bills. How they p issed away six million on one of the worst corners in the league. I think sometimes we take McDermott/Fraizer's D for granted and just assume we are always going to have a top unit. Problem is, we do have holes, and we need to fill them with talent and not just warm bodies. If it wasnt for the name, and we saw the metrics over the last couple years, I highly doubt most would make the case that hed be worth while in this secondary.
