bull ****. Name one team, just one team, in any major sport, that has been able to overcome superior talent and win a championship. Just one. -
2015-16 Buffalo Bills Negative Thread

I tend to agree. I think a prime example of too many playmakers was the Dallas Cowboys of a few seasons ago. They had Dez, Austin, Felix, Murray, Witten (I think), but despite loads of talent there was no identity on offense. Play calling seemed more to me like an attempt to get everyone involved or even appeasement at times rather than actual strategy. Instead of sticking with what This is just my opinion on the matter, but I think with a star studded roster there's a diffusion of responsibility. How often do we see players who were the focus of an offense get picked up by a team trying to buy a championship and never put up real numbers again? The Yankees have made that their business model. When you're surrounded by All Stars, suddenly the pressure is off. If LeBron isn't on tonight, no problem, Wade will pick it up. And if Wade is off too, then Bosh will step up. When its everyone's responsibility to lead the team, its no ones' responsibility. Dream teams never seem to equal the sum of their parts and I think its partly for a reason resembling this sentiment. -
Its still around. Theres a bunch of them and every one is different. Bushnell's Basin is my favorite of their locations. In Rochester hit Pizza Stop and Brooklyn Joe's for NYC style, Nino's for sicilian and foccacia pies, Chester Cab for Chicago style stuffed, and Fiamma for Neapolitan pizza. If you've been to those places and ordered correctly and still hold the opinion that Rochester pizza sucks then you just don't like pizza.

Where are you going in Rochester? Pretty random choices of cities.

I thought Vaccaro and his son's tormentor, Aspen, had great chemistry. I'll be interested to see how that plot line develops and whether Vaccaro makes good on his promise of sodomy with a decapitated corpse as witness. Compelling stuff.

This thread is now far less negative than a standard TBD thread. -

Its a daunting task trying to work all the ridiculousness we see here into one parody post. I got burnt out not long after I started. Not sure how some the regulars do it. -
Except Spieth did 3 putt on 17 including a miss from 3 feet. That was after a ****ty tee shot.

You only wanted Kromer as Cutler contraception, so to speak. -
Thus Championship golf and meltdown are pretty poor words used to describe Spieth's and Johnson's respective performances given a one stroke margin and considering they were tied through 17 holes. I know you're glad you didn't get to see the finale, but maybe you should watch the last few holes before continuing this asinine argument.
-
I'm aware of the difference. Its not my fault that choose your words poorly and then back up your arguments even worse.
-
Yet he played one stroke worse than Spieth on Sunday. I guess its a very slim line between championship level play and meltdown.

Can't say that I particularly care. Every family event I listen to my grandparents who are 4 generations removed boast of their 100% pure old country lineage, untainted by the American melting pot. In the states, anybody with Mc or O' last name will tell you about how much they can drink because of their Irish heritage, so will Russians and Ukranians, Italians will brag about their grandmother's mustaches, and even Pols are proud about something. And we're talking about Americans who are generations removed, many of which have never been within 1,000 miles of the old country. People can be proud of being American while also proud of wherever the f@#$ they came from. Or maybe this girl a total ingrate. Either way, I congratulate her on her impressive debt burden. And no, I wouldn't.

Johnson tapped in for par and a 2nd place finish. Hardly a "meltdown". Go look at Phil's US Open history if you need refreshers on what a meltdown looks like. Yeah, Johnson had a very makeable putt to force a playoff but based on what we saw through 72 holes, there weren't too many gimmes on that course. Spieth missed an easier putt minutes before and got a double bogey. Everybody was missing reads out there.

Have you skyped with him yet?

EJ Manuel's Lack of Connection with the Buffalo Community
Jauronimo replied to Vinaccia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think its silly to fret over a little thing like this when EJ's visor and body language on the sideline make him incapable of leading even a lowly pop warner football team let alone a professional sports franchise and community. -

OBD is one bills drive. ODB is ol' dirty bastard. OBJ is Odell Beckham Jr. Can't tell if you're dyslexic, constantly missing the joke, or both. -
There's that word again. You were arguing that a confederate flag was a likely enabler in a specific hate crime. Now a confederate flag is a likely "contributor" of general racism. See the subtle difference?
-
No, I haven't suggested any such thing. But apparently you're arguing that a confederate flag in South Carolina is the root of all racism or at the very least, the enabler. A piss poor attempt even by your standards.
-
Its not appropriate if......wait for it......it isn't likely. Concepts, or relationships in this instance, typically aren't likely when you pull them out of your a@#. When you suggest that this little monster was enabled by a confederate flag you have gone totally off the reservation. Nothing in the fact set suggests that the flag was a factor. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason to think that there is even the loosest of connection between what transpired in that Church and what flag is waving in the capitol, let alone actually enabled which suggests a significant influence. I believe that meets the criteria of completely unlikely. I believe you can just as easily argue that the bills 15 year playoff drought was an enabling factor given the absence of anything backing that theory. Even the most superficial analysis of your premise reveals it to be total BS backed with nothing but your own liberal and convenient use of the word "likely". Deja vu.
-
Likely. If you're spit nonsense out of a certain orifice at least back it up with something authoritative like "clearly" or "obviously". Likely??? Grow a pair, already
