Of course I will. 20 years running, its Stockholm syndrome at this point. We miss the comfort of our quiet, 1 PM, low profile games. I think the idea vs reality of primetime games are very different animals. Beginning of the year, the sound of MNF and SNF is awesome. Then the week of it sets in that I still have to go to work the next day. And now after the Chiefs and Titans showings, another primetime game scares me.

Week 13 Bills @ 49ers in Phoenix PreGame Thread
Jauronimo replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So you booked your wife a 5 hour spa session tonight, right? -
After 20 years of never sniffing a prime time game and always bitching about the lack of attention and respect we get, the Bills are firmly in the national spotlight and now we lament the loss of our 1PM time slots with Ian Eagle, Adam Archibald, Solomon Wilcots and the rest of CBS' misfit toys. The grass is eternally brown.

Are you still surprised that the Bills were ever favored?

Well, did you finish it?

Josh Allen the most blitzed QB in the NFL

Josh Allen the most blitzed QB in the NFL
Jauronimo replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like hes the most blitzed but times pressured per drop back hes 21st. Lots of blitzes, not a lot of pressure from blitzing if I'm interpreting that correctly. As opposed to Wentz who is second most blitzed, most hits, most pressures, 6th in pressure percentage. Interestingly enough, upcoming opponent Nick Mullens has faced the most pressures per drop back. -
And your non-Chiefs content is truly inspiring. A brief history of your involvement here: Yes, you are trolling. Rosen? Stellar work as usual. Another triumph. A treatise on why Buffalo won't land a QB in the draft. Thats the type of content we come here for. Also, truly prophetic. A worst case draft day scenario for Buffalo. Our cup runneth over. The lead up to the 2018 draft was a special time for you and starting threads. Many of us remember. More trolling. Your Allen sucks posts were something to behold as well. Comparisons to Tebow, advocating for Matt Barkley. Trade for Rosen. Predicting we would go 4-12, or 6-10 in 2019 Like I said, many of us remember when you joined this board and are familiar with your work. First it was rubbing it in that you landed Mahomes. Then it was all about how we wouldn't get a QB in the next draft. Then it was all about how the QB we did select isn't any good. Your new found praise reads as highly patronizing given your history. Yet another Mahomes thread is not changing my mind. How do you think that reads?

Great. 90% of your content here is new threads with another spin on how Buffalo didn't draft Mahomes or run of the mill LAMP. If you had any interest in participating on this board like any other functioning adult you would do so. Its not hard. But here we are with another LAMP about how Buffalo didn't draft Mahomes.

The Mind of Josh Patrick Allen
Jauronimo replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It leads to some of his biggest WTF moments but it also turns into highlight reel plays. In 2020, I think his hero ball has been far more positive than not. I would still like to see him show some understanding of game situation. Like maybe not playing hero ball late in the fourth quarter when the game is in hand as he did on the late INT against the Chargers. -
Great. This guy again.

Its a worthless statement. Has it not ever been what it, in fact, was?
-
Agreed. Maybe my memory fails me, but I swore we were seeing daily deep connections to Davis in camp but during the season we have not seen many deep shots to him. If he's in single coverage throw it up and let him make a play.

"The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting different results" Its literally not the definition. To make matters worse, this "quote" is universally misattributed.

I am aware. QB is the most important position in team sports. -

I know all you kids love your Madden but wake me up when Josh can sink a 30 footer in Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge. -

Fun Stats: 49ers last three games (without Garrapolo) they have: - Turned the ball over 9 times (including 5 lost fumbles!), forced 6 turnovers including 4 against the Rams - Scored 17 points, 13 points, and 23 points - Have rushed for 55, 49, and 115 yards - Have allowed rushing yards against of 111, 114, and 126 - Lost to Taysom Hill - Been outscored 81 to 53 It was brought to my attention that Taysom Hill was not playing that game. Brees and Jameis were the QB. -
They traded for another that was supposed to be starter and was out of league a year later.

I don't see how a centralized bubble or bubbles can work. As I understand it, both grass fields and artificial turf cannot handle multiple games in a day or even days. So you likely need multiple cities with multiple fields that can handle an NFL game. LA comes to mind with the Coliseum, Rose Bowl, SoFi, wherever the hell the Chargers played last year. College teams are still playing so that might not even be an option. -
I have seen zero suggestions that Jimmy will be back this week outside of some guy on TBD guessing.
