  1. Hey Spags why don't you and your boys buy us some Canadian beer and buy us a few lap dances at the Sundowner....Then maybe we might tell you.
  2. Okay then cut Corto coz Namaan has way more upside. I personally like both they represent WNY well and they know the importance of this team to our city.
  3. my heart says 10-6 but my brain says 5-11. we aren't a deep team and if any of these guys go down; wood, merriman, stevie, fitz, or freddie, we will be in big trouble.
  4. Nothing more I'd like to see then 2 wins over the Pats this year. We just need to learn how to cover tight ends, stop the screen pass, and the other teams running game. Oh yeah, and score around 30 points per game. I believe Buddy & Chan would find that to be a tradable offence.
  5. This only proves Goodell consulted with Vick. I don't see how Goodell could have prevented Vick from choosing where he wanted to go. Chances are that Vick told Goodell about Cincy and Buffalo, to which Goodell told him the Pros & Cons of entering into that situation. This GQ article takes a 1/2 quote from Vick - there is more behind this quote and Vick probably misspoke or was taken out of context. In essence Vick asked Goodell for impartial advice and his answers helped "lead" Vick in making the decision to sign with Phily.
  6. Oh no Ocho? http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2011-08-17/new-england-patriots-training-camp-even-tom-brady-gets-frustrated
  7. Spiller is a versatile play maker. I just don't see him being a running back who will get 15 to 20 carries a game. Spiller is capable of doing everything Reggie Bush has done with maybe even more actual production.
  8. Dick Jauron was too preoccupied with Trent Edwards and Terrell Owens. God imagine if Trent had texted to Russ Brandon, "what about Vick?" Seriously we are 2 years removed from one of the most mismanaged professional sports teams in recent memory. As for this story Vick will likely miss half the season on a Jason Peters missed block, let's all put our focus elsewhere.
  9. if you can add some mark miller primal screams to this that would complete the track!
  10. Buddy Nix & Chan The Man seem to be running a Parcells"ian" operation more every day. Wonder if the hard hand will work on today's primadonna's.
  11. rinehardt sounds a bit meaner than urbik. reminds me of that crazy german guy in gladiator who took 10 guys down before getting axed.
  12. I said earlier this year Freddie is a poor man's Marcus Allen with out the "hops". McClain would have been a nice bulldozer.
  13. We have enough money to trade Spiller or Freddie Jackson to Tennessee and pay Chris Johnson like Brady or Manning 18.5 million and still have a 10 million surplus! I am not advocating this, just pointing out a fact.
  14. If we have any shot to make the playoffs I believe our running game will be key. I am talking about consistency, not the occasional 200 yard game but the steady 120 yards a game. Consistency means execution, but also commitment. That means Gailey will have to stay committed to running early and late in games. Obviously this all depends on staying in the game in the second half. That said it seemed far too often that the Bills abandoned the running game in tight games in the 4th quarter in 2010. Case in point was Kansas City where Fitz was in the spread and the ball slipped out. I liked the deception of the infamous "Stevie Drop" where the Johnson was lined up as the lone receiver in a run look set. Running the ball effectively means less turnovers, more possession and less wear and tear on your defense. From a red zone perspective when you can physically out-muscle your opponent it means easier touchdowns and higher short yardage conversion rates. I'd like to see the Bills leading scorer this year be a running back. This all said: What is your prediction on our average rushing yards per game? Who will be our red zone "closer"?
  15. Heard Momma Pecoraro is considering coming out of retirement. http://www.campgooddays.org/News/Details/?id=136 "Let's Do A Keg Stand Boys!"
  16. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Bears-refuse-to-bend-to-new-kickoff-rule-told-b?urn=nfl-wp5084
  17. It all comes down to the Center position, remember Kent Hull? I don't get why the Bears didn't try and retain Olin Kreutz. The Bills moving Wood to center is exactly the reason why I think we will be able to run the ball better between the tackles. I have always held the belief that if you can put your best 2 lineman next to each other you'll get better results. Our LT, LG, C position seem to be above average. However I am concerned with our right side.
  18. Tom Brady is the measuring stick we Bills fans hold our team to. Unfortunately we have developed a bit of "Brady" envy. Whether it be the supermodel wife, or the fact he's 18-1 against us we have grown to respect the man but also hate him with a passion. Here are some interesting stats on Brady including playoffs. Brady's Career Record When He Scores... 30 or more points scored 59 wins 2 losses 97.0% win percentage (Only Peyton Manning has beat him) 22 to 29 points scored 39 wins 3 losses 93.0% win percentage 20 to 21 points scored 12 wins 8 losses 60.0% win percentage 15 to 19 points scored 10 wins 9 losses 53.0% win percentage 14 points or fewer scored 5 wins 16 losses 24.0% win percentage Brady's Career Record When Opposing Team Scores... 30 or more points against 6 wins 13 losses 32.0% win percentage 22 to 29 points against 20 wins 16 losses 56.0% win percentage 20 to 21 points against 14 wins 4 losses 78.0% win percentage 15 to 19 points against 22 wins 4 losses 85.0% win percentage 14 points or fewer against 63 wins 1 loss 98.0% win percentage(Only team to win Jets 10-3) It doesn't come as a shock that the only time the Bills managed to beat Brady was when they scored over 30 and held him under 14, a 31-0 win in the '03 season opener. What do you guys think will be the early line of our September 25th matchup at the Ralph?
  19. Moorman has been great on all the intangibles run fakes, holding, hang time, distance. Punting in the swirling Ralph winds ain't easy. Let's let Reid go out in the Ralph during the next rain storm and see how he fares against Mr. Moorman.
  20. Chandler got absolutely leveled by 5 guys on his second catch. I like what I saw. Looks like Fitz found him pretty easily. Spiller looked good in the slot against Lance Briggs, and had they been playing on better footing might have had a big gainer. Stevie Johnson can run a slant, but can he go deep? Namaan Roosevelt looks like a smart route runner and displayed his great hands. I was happy with the defense and I am concerned with our depth at OL. The second team OL looked pedestrian.
  21. McGee just needs to stay healthy and have a solid preseason. McKelvin is a mental liability, and Florence lacks in run support. McGee has never been afraid to lower his pads and make tackles, unfortunately the past 3 seasons he's seen an increase in running backs breaking through the 1st and 2nd level. I am all for the "youth" movement but McGee is an invaluable stop gap for the next season.
  22. Lee Evans will now have all the time in the world to run his deep routes. Hopefully Mr. Blindside Michael Oher will keep Flacco from getting destroyed. I don't dislike Evans but he was a one-dimensional receiver who was too often taken out of games.
  23. Sucking bad helps drive concession sales....you sell more beer when your fans are depressed.
