Why do I have this feeling that 228 lbs Maybin's career is over?

Pryor is dumber than Brad Smith
BiggieScooby replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are 2 types of people: "hunters" and "thinkers". Pryor may be better suited playing a position where he doesn't have to think and go out and be a hunter. -
Spiller if he can figure out how to slow down and follow his blocks.

Expectations for Stevie Johnson this year
BiggieScooby replied to Phlegm Alley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am more worried about SJ staying healthy. Stevie always looks like he's about to get his knees destroyed after catching a slant, whether its getting his legs taken out in a low blow, or like the last preaseason game when he was horse-collar tackled. I think his body type which teeters towards slender and lack of speed exposes him to more blows. Stevie needs to learn how to catch the ball and go down fast without getting in a battle with a safety or linebacker. I guarantee SJ will get Revis twice, Belichick's attention twice, Miami's attention twice, & NY Giants a la Perry Fewell. Don't think for a second that he won't be doubled teamed or head hunted. SJ like Fitz faded as the season wore on. And I wonder if teams will want to test his toughness by playing press coverage to mess up the timing of his routes. SJ needs to prove he is mentally and physically strong enough to beat press coverage and double teams. -
Bills Talking Contract Extension with Parrish

a 5'9'' 175lbs often hurt player. Here's hoping at age 29 this guy finds a way out of the trainer's room! -
Fitz is one of the rare combinations of brain and wit, and even more impressive the guy is a heckuva athelete.

The Good, The bad, The Ugly
BiggieScooby replied to Donald Duck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ryan Fitz is not responsible for his crap line, when he took over for Edwards all of sudden the oline got much better. I believe Fitz became an adequate starter last year in the NFL. Given the fact that he hover's around the 16th best QB in the NFL that would mean he's not elite, or poor. He should have a good shot at getting another 20 tds and 15 ints. All quarterbacks fumble, Tom Brady has been sacked 244 times fumbled 72 and lost 32. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been sacked 92 times fumbled 25 times and lost 13. If Fitz can mitigate the sacks, his fumbles should come down, and if does that he'll probably throw fewer picks. -
Insider: Nix hasn't addressed Bills greatest needs

If you aren't willing to put your name behind your quote its just gossip. -
DIII is proving that desire cannot be measured. If he keeps getting his touches he can beat out Emmitt Smith for most rushing yards past age 30 and top Marcus Allen's total yards rushing and receiving past age 30. The guy is a "young" 30 year old and he's got great vision. Fred isn't a burner so you don't need to worry about him losing a step. Keep on feeding him the ball 15 times a game and let him grind out 4.5 yards per rush.

Fitzy's Clean Shaven Look
BiggieScooby replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz should stick with the beard. He had a career year and if he can toss 23 tds and 15 ints in 13 games, perhaps if he lasts through all 16 games he'll have an even better year! -

This law also makes it illegal for the "employer" to hire an illegal, a crime which will now be punishable by 10 years in prison. -

I'm feeling like 15/25 for Fitz for a 175 and 1 td. CJ has a big run, and Poz get's bulldozed by FJ. -
he doesn't have to leave but all indications are that he will. Luck will turn 22 on Sept 12th. If he returns for his redshirt senior year in 2012, that means he will be a relatively "old" rookie at 24 in 2013. That's not to say you can't have a great 16 year career but it'd be nice for the kid to going sooner rather than later. Look at it this way Luck had nothing more to prove and probably would have been the #1 pick in the 2011 draft. There is more risk staying in school than leaving. He said he wanted to get his Stanford degree, and all indications are he will in 4 years by May. Unless he wants to start on his masters degree the kid should go pro in 2012. Most QB's all enter the NFL by age 23: Vick 21, Payton Manning 22, Eli Manning 23, Brady 23, Big Ben, 22, Matt Ryan 23, Marino 22, Elway 23, Favre 22. Chad Pennigton 24, Jim Kelly 26, Kurt Warner 27, are some of the better examples of later on success. The last 24 year old rookie QB from Stanford was "the great" Trent Edwards!

What's Wrong With This Graph?
BiggieScooby replied to BiggieScooby's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
i run my own business, things are good but i see many of my clients struggling through no fault of their own. the biggest issue they face is federal stimulus money drying up and private companies not picking up the slack. so the Congressional Budget Office data is wrong? Don't shoot the messenger. ceo pay vs. average worker pay. the average workers at facebook all make well above the median income. facebook doesn't skew this graph as all of their workers make $90,000 or more and many are about to cash in big with 2012's IPO. -
we are in the middle of a 4 year turnaround. After 11 seasons of no playoffs we still are no closer. reality is crashing in on obd. no matter how well their crack marketing team tries to sell the '11 bills they are fighting an uphill battle.

just commenting that you say you are not a member of the "tea" party. looks like you are in the ron paul crowd, good luck getting past perry.
-
I believe the 2011 Buffalo Bills would whoop up on your proposed All Pro team.
-
Good deal surprised kyle didn't try for 50 million with 25 guaranteed. He's worth more than what he got, but oh well $17 guaranteed ain't too shabby!
-
You are a Ron Paul guy, he'd be better off playing Ross Perot and going independent. You are a Libertarian if you like Ron Paul, the truest form of "constitutionalists" that exist.
-
stick to policy and debate, and avoid personal attacks. problem with the "tea party" is their ideology reminiscent of George W "you are either with us, or against us."
