  1. No thanks to Geno or any QB in this draft. The fact that he couldn't absorb a simple west coast play shown by Marriucci was VERY sad to see. He didn't get the verbage. Missed a block assignment from the guard, and missed a progression in the read. He BOMBED this test that RG3 nailed. http://www.nfl.com/v...making-his-case I mean this is a VERY simple play that i picked up in a heartbeat. I didn't get the verbage but it's a very easy play to diagram. He couldn't do either. His interview was SOOO scripted too.
  2. I was thinking this too but I'd much rather have Fisher than Johnson. That left side of our line would be lethal.
  3. Maybe we should. For people like Ryan L. Billz, college stats mean a lot.
  4. Like I give a sh*t about his college numbers. College numbers don't translate to the NFL. If it did, Timmy Chang, and Colt Brennan would be 2 of the best QBs in the league. Comprehend that buddy. And it's YOU'RE. The fact is, he was referring to his size and comparing that to Roscoe Parrish. And you're jumping down his throat talking about speed. Good one. Sproles is 190 lbs. Almost 20 lbs heavier than Austin. Considering he's only 5'6 or 5'7" he's got a solid build. 2 completely different situations.
  5. Getting to the second level and the 40 yd dash have nothing to do with each other unless the 2nd level is somehow 40 yds down field. This is the most useless drill for an offensive lineman ever.
  6. He was referring more to his size and his durability. I assume comprehension isn't one of your strongest assets. Jerry Rice ran a 4.7. 40 time is so overrated. That Terron Armstead ran a 4.7 and all of a sudden people are going nuts over him? When the hell is an offensive lineman ever going to use that?
  7. I don't think you understand how averages work. You add up the yards of the last 4 years and divide that total by 4. Definitely doesn't equal 1000.
  8. I'm not saying he's a longtime answer but at this point, he can't be worse than Fitz. He'll be way better than any other rookie in this year's draft and I don't see us making any blockbuster QB trades anytime soon. So let's just start TJax and move on.
  9. I've been saying for the last 2 months that T Jax will be our starting QB next year. And IMO he's our best option this year
  10. Brady Quinn 2006 Notre Dame Ind SR QB 289 467 61.9 3426 7.3 8.2 37 7 146.7 Andrew Luck 2011 Stanford Pac-12 SR QB 288 404 71.3 3517 8.7 9.4 37 10 169.7 College stats don't mean squat.
  11. Stay clear of any USC offensive player. Lendale White, Reggie Bush, Mike Williams, Matt Leinart, Carson Palmer, Mark Sanchez, Dwayne Jarrett, Steve Smith, how are ya'll doin? Most assinine comment. Stevie is one of the best route running WRs in the league. Woods hasn't shown jack squat in the NFL.
  12. Who cares. Nelson was OK but he was never a threat. I think we're going WR at 8 and QB in 2nd.
  13. I'm OK with bringing in anyone that's better than Sheppard.
  14. 5'9" 170 lbs. No thanks. They're the exact same player. They have the same build, same frame, same skill sets. Either way no thanks to Tavon.
  15. Any good QB can make any WR look great (Andrew Luck to TY Hilton). Not every great WR can make a QB look great (Kolb/Skelton to Fitzgerald). Just sayin...
  16. If you think Byrd is overrated, I suggest you open your eyes when you watch the games.
  17. I put 100% of his success on him being good and not just Tom Brady. In 2006 he started just 2 games and still managed to catch 67 balls for almost 700 yds with Joey Harrington and Daunte Culpepper throwing him the ball. Belichick saw something no one else did and forked over a 2nd rounder for him. Welker is just THAT good. If he came for a decent price, I'd say sign him. Welker is freaking amazing and still serviceable.
  18. NFLDraftcountdown has us taking Cordarrelle Patterson and Ryan Nassib with our 1st 2 picks.
  19. Jackson IMO is the best QB option we have for this year. This is what I've been saying for awhile. No QB in this year's draft is worth drafting and there isn't a FA QB worth signing. So rather than wasting money and time, just sign Jackson and have him compete for the starting spot and hopefully he'll come out on top.
  20. Why does everyone say we need to cut Fred? So sick of hearing this garbage. Fred is still an overall better back than Spiller. Hate to say it but in terms of running, experience, physicality, receiving, and pass blocking, he's better. Just a year ago, Fred was leading the league or 2nd in the league in yds from scrimmage in the NFL. Give me a break. We need Fred.
  21. Geno Smith's skill sets are no longer "unique" my friend. I was on this Geno Smith bandwagon way before the Smith train picked up steam but I'm off the wagon now. Not impressed anymore.
  22. Life of every Bills fan. Can't wait til the season starts in Sept. By late October, we can't wait for the NFL draft in April. Because we'll be picking anywhere between 8-12.
  23. How is it ignorant? Just because there are QBs coming out of this draft doesn't mean one of them is the answer to our long time QB issues. It's IGNORANT to just draft a QB every 4 years because we need a QB. I'd rather wait til the right QB comes around, draft him and start him day one. There's a smart way to approach this thing and drafting a QB in a WEAK QB class is not the answer.
  24. So let me get this straight. Lets say we lose our best o-lineman and pick up a QB that likes to run around and is prone to injury and then have Vick mentor a young rookie QB we'll draft later this year? Makes perfect sense to me.
