  1. We'll agree to disagree. I'm assuming if he doesn't run well in "garbage time" you would complain about that.
  2. Some people should go to 1:51 and watch until the end. Pretty funny how the db ends up after tangling with Cook.
  3. I wasn't wrong in my response. Run the clock out when you're up big. Especially late in the game. To the bold, that's what I'm wondering.
  4. So, we're up big and we use him to run the clock down and shorten the game and you have a problem with that?!?! Again, too many people on this board complaining just to complain. 🙄
  5. Sometimes you make too much sense for some here. I was going to interject with the same thing.
  6. You're entitled to your opinion, but not everyone agrees. Resigning a WR who averages almost 17 yds per catch for his career is not a bad thing. Counting this season, we've been a top 3/top 2 offense over the past 3 seasons. In the entire league. Gabe has been a big part of that production. You might not like it, but bringing Davis back wouldn't be a bad signing. Obviously, dependent on how much. As far as being serious about improving the offense, I guess the mention of Cook by you, improving the interior of the o-line and trading up for Kincaid means they aren't serious? You're going to base this on 1 signing, forgetting everything else done to improve the offense? O-line improvements, Kincaid this year alone. Damian Harris, Murray, not to mention Cook last year. The #2 scoring offense this year and all of last year. In the entire league. Please don't try to flip this into "it's cuz of Josh". That is not only false, but also as lazy as saying "fire Dorsey".
  7. Very true. I was one of his biggest supporters, but I definitely did not want to pay him that much. As a side note: I liked the Bernard pick. I watched him play in college and he always seemed to stand out to me. I also like the Dorian Williams pick. A lot. He's going to develop into a nice LB for us.
  8. Get over Gabe already. Late 4th round pick making less than $ 1 million per season. You can’t get his production at that price just anywhere. He probably won’t be back next season, but he’s really important to this year’s team. We drafted him and played him. Is he good enough for a second contract? That’s up to Beane. He’s going to make way more positive plays than negative. Way more. Of course one drop and this board goes crazy. I’m not surprised at a drop by him, it’s expected. But if he goes down to injury this year, it would really hurt our offense. Fact.
  9. Find a perfect offense and I can find flaws. Find a perfect defense and I can find flaws. News flash: there is no perfect offense or defense in the league. The league is built on parity. I hope some of you aren’t pissed the offense isn’t perfect, but like last season we’re 2nd in the entire league in points per game. Even after Josh blew chunks vs the Jets. To Beane and Dorsey, You’re doing fine not listening to the noise here. Keep up the great work!
  10. Just responding to a quote from you: His lackadaisical route against the Jets cost us the game. It's very annoying when I see " Edmunds never made an impact play" or " His lackadaisical route against the Jets cost us the game". There's still people here excusing Josh for that game. I tried to move on but it's hard when this stuff keeps popping up.
  11. Some of you are still excusing away Josh's terrible performance!?!? Stop with the BS, Josh lost that game. Not Dorsey, not Gabe, not Brown, not McDermott. Straight up Josh. Even if a crisp route was run, Josh should not have thrown that pass. I guess the other INT's and the fumble just don't matter. Cuz it's Josh?
  12. So, our other whipping boy (Dorsey) is hamstrung in his play calling by shoddy RT play?
  13. You should see the video posted by a few here. I mean, he broke at least 4 tackles in that game alone. WTH are you watching? Same group of complainers with nothing better to do.
  14. From an article by someone named Sneaky Joe with WGR Sports: "Cook has 127 rushing yards after contact, good for fourth in the NFL. Cook also has 46 yards over expected this season. The only running backs with more: Christian McCaffrey, Bijan Robinson, Nick Chubb, and Austin Ekeler. That's elite company." I know YAC is different than breaking a tackle to some here, but if you break a tackle that would count as YAC to me. Short answer to the OP's question: Yes!!!
  15. The OP did say he was quietly resurrecting his career in Indy, he didn't say he was tearing up the league. One note though, Moss is top 10 in the NFL in rushing yards so far.
  16. He’s an average rb. They have better on their roster.
  17. Voted to keep Dorsey. Even after the 💩 show Allen pulled vs the Jets, we’re still 2nd in the league in points per game. Good job,Dorsey! Who was 2nd in the league last season in points per game? Yep, Dorsey’s offense. Not Allen’s, Dorsey’s.
  18. My impression is that even after the 💩 show Allen pulled vs the Jets, we’re still 2nd in the league in points per game. Good job,Dorsey! Who was 2nd in the league last season in points per game? Yep, Dorsey’s offense. Not Allen’s, Dorsey’s.
  19. I'm glad you brought this up, because I think he's going to be a good pick too. The Beane bashing is ridiculous.
  20. I think that’s what qbs are supposed to do. Deliver pinpoint passes. No?
  21. Have you not learned from the jets game?
