That is one of the reasons Rex drafted him he could move him inside or out depending. Bills did that as well , from a different scheming perspective. I think some of the reason Beane let him go was Lawson wanted to get paid and be a bit more glorified than he would as Bill and rotational player. Similar to J Phillips : D true enough

Not sure how good Isaiah is. he was used so much as a gimmick. But they did run those very well regardless of which way they went with the play. as a WR i really have no opinion based on when and where he was used. afterthought mostly it seemed. But does he fit that description ? would he improve the Offense from day one and long term? cannot always decide when to add specific talent, especially when speaking to BPA when need does not come into play. at 22 ? is that the case for Bills . or trade out of 22 perhaps? would he fall into BPA by your evaluation possibly ?
