  1. You're trying your best to put EJ into a category that doesn't exist. He threw an 80 yd touchdown pass in one of the games that you called historically horrible. Historically horrible is whatever the hell Geno Smith did against us. You can't be historically horrible with an 80 yard TD pass. Orton didn't even complete a pass in the red zone and you're calling EJ historically horrible. They have the same winning percentage. Play the young guy, see if he learned. Incredible that you're arguing against that right now, cherry picking made-up fake ESPN stats to defend your hypocritical point.
  2. He was 2-2. Orton is 3-3. Stop being a dolt.
  3. He will be defended. In this thread probably. Someone might even non-sarcastically mention that he's truly a great business and marketing guy. WHY DOES IT MATTER IF HE'S GOOD AT MARKETING?! YOU ARE ALREADY A FAN OF THIS TEAM! HIS MARKETING DOES NOT EFFECT YOU AT ALL! /capslocks
  4. EJ was 2-2. Orton was 3-3. QB's were just as consistent as their terrible HC, OC, and game plan. You guys were excited when EJ was playing smart football and we were 2-0. Orton had everyone pumped up at 5-3. Two games above .500, then the team outcoaches themselves. Twice in a season, folks.
  5. Did anyone watch the video in the link...? Where they say the Dolphins are the better team because you win with your defensive line. I don't think we're biased to think we have the best line in football. No idea what makes these guys "experts" anymore.
  6. I agree with that, I just literally don't think Fred needs to play if he's forcing it at his age and risk having a season lingering issue. If he's not 100%, sit him.
  7. Not sure I want Fred to go if he's not ready. Need him Thursday.
  8. my favorite thread by far
  9. Thought this thread could be AmarvA material... ...guess not.
  10. So what? What is your point, other than making a generalization? Not every QB's college career is created equal. If you want to go simply off of that, great...then don't ignore his success. Here's a quick hole in your theory that doesn't make excuses for anyone: EJ was 4-0 in bowl games. Kyle Orton was 1-3.
  11. Sweeping generalizations are why this argument is useless at this point. I mean you guys talk like EJ never completed a pass. It's insane.
  12. Redneck of the year. Hands down.
  13. Yeah... It was all offense.
  14. Absolutely winning in spite of coaching. Defense handed Hackett a win. He tried to blow it. We don't use Bryce Brown correctly (no surprise), even though the Eagles had him running for days. We don't use Mike Williams at all, even though he is an accomplished WR and red zone threat. We were unable to use Spiller, even though the previous coaching staff got effectiveness out if him. We have a shotgun run play that couldn't be less predictable if we actually told the defense what we were doing. We have a two minute offense that effortlessly moves the ball down field, but when we start inside the 50 we curl up and punt almost every time.
  15. Seems as though somehow this was all just a weird ploy to get people to support the FCC again. Sorry censorship, but we still hate you.
  16. They were taking mental reps.
  17. Guys, it's ok. They were just warming up.
  18. Don't they go as a team? Doesn't the team take the field around noon for warm ups? None of this sounds accurate at all.
  19. I don't know if they're in over their head (we're 3-3, let's call them average) but they absolutely cannot develop talent. I think EJ is coachable, we just need better coaches. Mismanagement of Watkins, Spiller, and Mike Williams proves they're just not hood at adapting to their players or developing them.
  20. Through four games this crew has the home team winning percentage at 25%.
