  1. Yeah, stats are nice - but didn't you hear? Manuel didn't pass the TBD posters eye ball test.
  2. "I'm a Barbie Girl."
  3. Conveniently ignores all the losses with Jackson and Spiller healthy throughout the past few seasons.
  4. I'm in the middle between this camp and the play EJ camp. EJ hasn't looked great, but IMO he has a much higher ceiling than Orton.
  5. When did I say that he should have already been fired? I just said your analogy was bad. If that makes me simple, fine.
  6. Since Pegula took over... Marrone fielded a pathetic team at home against the Patriots, where a win puts you in front of the division He barely beat the Vikings that took a 4th and 20 miracle He failed miserably TWICE in back-to-back games to comparable AFC teams and In a short time took his team from playoff contention, to 4th worst in the conference. He didn't order a pizza. He bought an NFL franchise. Marrone is as good as gone.
  7. ...what?
  8. It all makes sense now.
  9. Honest disclaimer: This is arguably the worst analogy I've ever seen.
  10. Fans citing prospect rankings as facts has to be the saddest thing I've come across here.
  11. What the hell? Somebody send this guy a captcha to prove he's not a bot.
  12. Isn't that precisely what a poll does? Lend credence to an argument? It doesn't necessarily mean it solves the argument, but surely if the majority of people who follow the team want vote for "A", then I'd say their argument has some merit, wouldn't you?
  13. "I agree 11-15 is good. It's too early to have real tangible success. He's had to work with at least three quarterbacks so far." -Chip Kelly (17-8)
  14. It's really hard to say. So many skill players have regressed or shown little signs of talent under his staff. I will argue that between CJ, Fred, Dixon, and Brown none have looked good this season and there is one common denominator. I think if you inject the team with Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady they might trend upwards, but ultimately we would fall short when in-game decisions and crucial half-time adjustments are required.
  15. I agree with this. He's being called conservative way too much for his go-to criticism. I hope we don't go down remembering him as this ultra-conservative coach - but likely we'll just slowly forget about him and confuse most of these games as being part of the Marrone, Gailey, Jauron trilogy.
  16. Hey man, Nate Hackett has been around for months.
  17. Yeah, he rules.
  18. God I hate these coaches. There were people blatantly dissatisfied when we hired Marrone, and more later when he named his OC. Those people, myself included, have been saying all along that we're gong nowhere with these sad sacks. Now here we are. Slightly ahead of schedule. Time to pop in my favorite movie: Buffalo Bills Rebuild Part IX
  19. After having given this much thought...I do not want to see EJ Manuel play another game with Nate Hackett and Doug Marrone as his coaches. They have PROVEN WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT that they are incapable of playing to players' strengths. They are ill-equipped to properly manage and prepare a game plan that doesn't fit within their crappy Syracuse playbook.
  20. Apparently. Unless that clock is named Kyle Orton last night, right?
  21. Why does everyone keep saying this? His two coaching hires with the Sabres are Rolston and Nolan. Not exactly the who's who of available coaches.
