  1. Didn't realize the Buccaneers were known for their winning mentality.
  2. There's something about him that I like and trust. He's been a scout so he will be great at evaluating talent. Look what he did in San Diego. Maybe he can bring some of that San Diego talent , like Shawne Merriman or Ruvell Martin!
  3. Sign Lovie Smith so that you can (hopefully, and in a very roundabout way) sign Bird. Therefore valuing the safety position slightly above the head coaching the position. Well that's that then. Certainty something to think about.
  4. Then why would we bring in a guy from a losing team that you only know anything about because he played for the Bills?
  5. Great write up. The comparison to the penalty shot was one that I've never heard before, and a really good point. Spot of the foul penalties are essentially awarding the catch, which makes it a lopsided call.
  6. This thread rules. Mark80 dropped some knowledge and the six pack got stubborn and decided to believe his own fantasy where cap hits are not necessarily real and Matt Flynn is supposed to scare opponents.
  7. I've never seen that at the professional level. I truly dropped my jaw, and will believe no excuse that they give. That was a play that should be all over sports center and a strong candidate for a blooper reel/worst play call of the year.
  8. No. We will continue to win the pointless, easy games in order to elevate our hopes for next season.
  9. Gailey still thinks he can make the playoffs, so there's that.
  10. No idea what's going through Gaileys head at the end. We march down field DESPITE Fitzpatrick, and he throws a pick. MIRACULOUSLY, we get the ball back, almost as if God was telling him to stop passing and he keeps throwing. Wouldn't have had to punt if CJ got a couple carries. I think Gailey's play calls his first year were an exciting breath of air after Jauran's boring ultraconservative strategy. That has more than worn off. This team has the talent in enough positions to compete with competent play calling and using your strengths like your RBs.
  11. Would kill to be in the playoffs.
  12. Way to justify my post by citing his statistical contribution rather than referring to his actual play. I find it difficult to be down on a player who is placed in a reserve role out of position getting limited action. I find it more difficult to be down on a player that plays well and gets push when we have other players that are entirely ineffective despite constant starts.
  13. Do you watch the games or just check the box score?
  14. Won first three games you say? Kiss of death.
  15. Watch the Inside the NFL clip here: http://www.buzzfeed.com/jpmoore/eric-berry-is-terrified-of-horses
  16. Use the enter button a little more often. I did read through that though, and I think you're mostly right. Chan called a great game to have a chance to win at the end and Fitz executed wonderfully all day. Watching the game over only confirms the frustration that we are a couple plays from being the division leaders. More so than ever before we can hang with and compete with the patriots.
  17. Didn't really affect the game man. Its a good rule to prevent cheating.
  18. Well said. Very frustrating losses between this and Tennessee. Its funny, but you close the Titans game and finish today we are atop the division. Instead we are here. Again. That's what's so heartbreaking.
  19. I actually feel sadness. Winning that game, somehow makes Thursday interesting. It gives you a division shot. Tennessee loss and this loss are just sad.
  20. If you are a pro athlete and get a whole bunch of unrecorded chances, aren't you also going to make some of these trick shots? I think the video is cool, and whoever made it edited well, but I don't leave it being impressed or anything. I'm assuming given a similar opportunity most Pro QBs could duplicate these feats.
  21. In all fairness the main reason I'm upset is because I had high expectations on defense. There is no question Gailey's teams have been more entertaining than anything Jauron ever did.
