Not surprising he had been drinking. In my experience people that leave the scene of an accident, get involved in a domestic and fight with police are usually messed up on drugs or alcohol.

This tweet goes out to all the people who don’t understand the definition of burglary or why it was charged as a domestic incident.

It didn’t take long but this thread has already turned into a clown show

Ben Roethlisberger pre-snap tell run vs pass
Bangarang replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This reminds me of when Tannehill was in Miami and had a similar tell. During his pre-snap cadence, he would either say “Go Go!” or “Go!” before the ball was snapped. If I remember correctly, “Go Go” was always a run and “Go” was a pass. -
Why do you say that? Burglary is already a felony by itself.
-
Not sure how common it is in Washington but being denied bail surprised me. That’s the complete opposite of how things operate in NY unfortunately. The charge is burglary and the victim is what makes it a domestic related charge. He/she probably doesn’t necessarily even need to be present at the time of the incident. It also doesn’t mean Sherman put his hands on the victim either as that would probably have resulted in additional charges.

You’re wrong about me being wrong.

Sorry, that team sucks if that’s the squad you’re going with. 2 wins..max
-
Thats a 2 win roster at best.

Nothing earth shattering here. Should be a solid competition for the two guard spots, mainly at LG. Keep an eye on Lamp. He was a really talented guard prospect coming out of the draft. Had some issues with injuries with the Chargers and a change of scheme/scenery might be what he needs.

53 Man Roster: Projection After OTA/Minicamp
Bangarang replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Addison’s potential replacement(s) are already on the roster and none of them include Johnson. There’s a good chance he doesn’t even make the team. It’s pretty clear that BB and McD knew they needed to get younger on the edge given their last two drafts. Johnson is not that guy though. -
53 Man Roster: Projection After OTA/Minicamp

McD seems to like what he contributes on ST so far. Not sure he’s really solidified himself as a core player that they are dead set on keeping though. I’ve never noticed him make a play there but I’m also not a ST coach and have no idea what it means for them to do their job well if they aren’t returning kicks or making plays in coverage. You seem to have this fixation on Addison for some reason. It’s kind of odd really considering none of the younger guys have proven they are good enough to take over for him. If that happens then I don’t think anyone will care if Addisons role is reduced or eliminated entirely. Until that happen, I think it’s pretty foolish to pound the table to cut a guy when we don’t know if his replacements are any good. -

You yourself are making that argument when you say you want to cut Addison and give a bigger role to Daryl Johnson. What has he shown to make anyone believe he’s earned it or is even capable of being an effective pass rusher in the NFL? Seriously I know exactly how McD manages the roster which is why your argument makes no sense. -

Daryl Johnson’s best contribution may only be as a ST player. He offers us nothing as a pass rusher and likely never will. So no, I still don’t see how his value is higher considering you yourself downplay the importance of guys whose only role is to play special teams. A declining Addison is still better than Johnson. And a veteran like him holds even more value on this team when it comes to mentoring the young guys who actually have talent as pass rushers. If the younger guys prove they can handle the job and Addison starts to get faded out then I’ll entertain the idea of letting him go if it makes sense. Otherwise, it’s foolish to think a guy like Daryl Johnson deserves more playing time just for the sake of it. That’s not how McD manages the roster. -

This doesn’t make any sense. Daryl Johnson is the definition of a fringe guy but for some unknown reason you think he has much more value than Addison. This isn’t a rebuilding team where we should just give the young guys big roles because we don’t care about losing games. Antonio Williams and Taiwan Jones may play the same position on paper but their roles and skill sets are not the same. What you’re proposing makes this team worse. -

I don’t see it happening unless he plays significantly better than Harry. -
Time to hate PFF again...Allen #40, Diggs #45...
Bangarang replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So many hurt feelings. Why do you all keep going back to PFF for their nonsense when you know you’re just going to get upset?
