  1. Thanks for your past post game analysis Bill! The would be the first think I looked for on TBD on Monday mornings. 2016 will be a make or break season I think...either way I am looking forward to seeing what happens. After reading this site for so many years you kind of get attached to hearing from certain posters...all the best to you and your fam!
  2. Very happy Incognito stayed and a good deal worked out for both sides!
  3. Voted No only because I have believed and hoped they would make it for so many years now.....might as well try something different.
  4. I don't follow college ball but I always keep an eye on Astro's draft threads...this is hilarious thanks for the chuckle And thanks Astro for running this and for everyone else with the knowledge to participate!
  5. I'm fine with waiting for a longer look before locking him up. I'm sure it was part of the deal all along and if anything will help to motivate him for next season. Even though we have a QB playing in the Pro Bowl, it doesn't seem to feel like we have a Pro Bowl QB. That being said I really hope Taylor exceeds expectations next year and we do in fact lock him up.
  6. I may not remember much from too many birthdays since....but I will always remember that game from my 14th. And it's still a bummer all these years later...
  7. I saw him on a little spot on 60 minutes a few weeks back...his love and passion for the sport felt contagious. This is a great addition to our team!
  8. I thought I was "smart" waiting to have kids when I was older...now I am 38 with two kids under 3. As I type this averaging about 4 hours of sleep per night, I wish I got this over when I was 24.....fml
  9. Thanks for the recaps again this season Bill, I look forward to them every week. All the best to you in 2016!
  10. Thanks for the Monday morning read! All the best in 2016 to you also!
  11. Hey BV....one caveat to that might be has Whaley as GM been able to actually hire a HC solely of his own choosing yet? I mean without Nix/Brandon/Pegs making the choice for him? I'm just thinking perhaps he doesn't get along with HC's who were forced on him who are of different ideologies. Who knows what the real behind scenes truth is, but its seems Whaley taking over and running as the GM reins hasn't been a normal progression. The Nix transition wasn't clean cut and smooth, and from what I've read the new owners had much influence in the choosing of the 2nd coach he's had. Anyway just thinking out loud.....I'd like to see Whaley stay and I am on board with you for a football czar/consultant as well.
  12. Yep! I was in high school so really didn't appreciate what it was all about. 2006 Italy World Cup....that was a doozie. Maybe honorable mention to the recent Canada Olympic hockey golds, that was a big deal as a country, but not really applicable at the team level. A Bills Superbowl would be insane as it would only apply to a smaller group of us like minded individuals. I hope we all get to see it someday.
  13. I am trending in the same direction....I don't miss a Bills game on TV, but that's about the only games I sit down and take in anymore. I renewed the RedZone channel again this year and have probably watched it for a total of an hour this season. Even NFL news, if its not in the AFC East I really don't bother paying attention. I had a run of about 15 years or so where I've made a game (or two) at the Ralf every year (4.5 hour drive)....however I haven't been in the past 2. Though I do blame part of that on being busy with small kids now, but at the same time I'm happy catching the game while puttering around in the garage. Don't get me wrong, I do get excited for the Bills, but after that there's not much.
  14. I'd like to see Fitz go deep in the playoffs for old time's sake...but can't really see that happening. Other than that, as long as its not the Pats* I am pretty impartial unless I'm wagering on the Superbowl game
  15. I'm up and got the pre-game streaming on the laptop...texting a buddy at Wembley. This is quite the city you have here brother.....some pbr and giordano's go excellent together on sunday morning
  16. Thanks again fella....It's good to know there is a friendly ear in town should I get spun around and need one. We're heading out this evening and should be at the hotel there tomorrow morning. We're really looking forward to this weekend and I'll let you know how we make out!
  17. Haha....I guess I can see your point, I'm sure its a non stop party up there....we will find out in the next few hours I guess. Thanks again for the input BC....I'll be the tool at the Museum of Science and Industry wearing #78 Bills jersey on Sunday afternoon
  18. Thanks BC......sounds like it will be hotel internet access for this cat. If there was a Bills group somewhere for the day I could see if that would be in the cards. I was hoping for a Jays/Cubs WS final and get to tour around Wrigleyville and check out the action....but that's not looking too real at this point.
  19. Ah right...my bad I went the wrong way with the time....so it's 8:30AM Sunday...ya that is a bit early....I might be looking at a few hours of nursing the hangover in the hotel for the morning...that might not be all bad after all The wife will be there so I'll be sure to erase browsing history before hooking my laptop up to the TV
