I'll tell ya why Russ shouldn't be in football meetings....just look at how he holds the football?? Like it's 1963 and he's playing 3 vs 3 with his buddies in the backyard...he's trying to get past the telephone pole for a TD but they strip the ball from him and laugh.

I've seen a regression in his command of the offense even after A Lynn took over to "simplify" the offense and concentrate on what we do best. The talking points when GRo was fired were "plays were getting in late because the were so complicated, etc". Now that the playbook has been streamlined to give extra time in between plays, I see very little adjustment pre-snap by Tyrod - which tells me one of two things: 1) He has no idea what he's looking at and his recall ability to know which audible to call is suspect; or 2) The Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach have told him not to audible and just go with the selected play (possibly because they know he is unable to do it on his own). Either way, defenses now know they can confuse the hell out of TT and he will revert to his "scrambling ability" which, given his tendency to break early if his first read isn't open, allows defenses to just sit and wait for him to get jittery and bolt.

Gugny said it above and it bears repeating...having a high Wonderlic score does not guarantee he will be a quality NFL QB...but scoring a 15 certainly doesn't help you succeed as an NFL QB. It was a huge red flag and, apparently, overlooked.

I agree with this...in our current NFL landscape, being dumber than a water bottle does not bode well for an NFL starter.

But a 15??? I think they get 10 points for spelling their name correctly and inserting the date....a 15???!!!!!!!!

I understand that...but maybe we should look for a QB who breaks the 30th percentile in brains when we search for another QB.

But does he have the brain (and height) to play QB in the NFL? Tyrod scored a 15 Is it worth it to keep him on the team knowing his limitations? I honestly believe he has a tough time analyzing defenses, using audibles, and processing things quickly. Just a spot to discuss if he has the intellect needed.

Even though we haven't tasted the nectar of Playoffs in 17 years, we don't deserve to get in the playoffs this year. It will give us false hope...it would be a participation trophy x1,000,000. It would put the Pegulas in a spot where they would keep Rex, Rob, Doug and TT. Blow this **** up.

I would agree to a certain extent...but typically the leader of a football team is the QB (Kelly, Manning, and currently Carr, Wilson, Brees, etc). We happen to have a soft spoken QB with questionable skills, height, intellect...hence the reason we have no true leadership.

Your second to last paragraph is completely WRONG!! The players won't feel sick to their stomachs. None of them are mentally invested in this team....not Sammy, not TT, not our dynamic duo at CB or our D-line. That is the main problem with this team. They have no heart.
