The main thrust of this thread is "bad drafting" so if he's able to find three starters from rounds 1-3 over the next three years I guess he's doing ok in your book. I happen to think we'll be happy wit this team next year with many, many rookie contracts which is the foundation for a Championship team (see Seahawks 2012-13).

I kinda think Lorax is the exact type of guy McDermott wants to keep and replicate. He was making tackles on ST and as LB. Guy leaves it all on the field every game. I'd be shocked.
