Who can forget Da"rick Rogers?? -
I prefer to bake. My best is homemade carrot cake. Everything is real...no box cake mixes. Flour, baking powder, oil, etc. The cream cheese icing is kickass. Super moist and very rich. Other baked good would be our caramel sweet rolls (have to let the dough rise twice but the end result is amazing). We were able to get the "Lyons Tea Room" caramel roll recipe years and years ago and they are fantastic. My pizza dough recipe is coming along. After about six attempts and a lot of online research I found a recipe for Bocce Club style pizza dough and it's very close. Also bought some Ezzo style pepperoni so it is the closest I have had to real WNY pizza.

Buffalo is the latest HOT free agent destination from what I hear.

In high school we thought that was the cat’s ass...ask a buddy’s older brother to cross the border and buy us a case or two of Brador. Alcohol content of 6 or 7%. We thought that was great. Nowadays there’s beers with 9.25% I hear. Crazy.

I’ve taught my wife that this line >>———————————————————- is 8 inches. Problem solved. I forgot Swiss Chalet...one of my faves in Canada

Every summer we go to Canada for a fishing trip. While there, we get a few packages of breakfast sausage for our breakfasts at fishing camp. They are pork, veal, super mild, natural casing, and when you fry them a few minutes and then put them in the oven for awhile, they come out snapping, hot and soooo freaking good (especially with eggs, toast or with the pancakes we make with our pure syrup). It fills your belly before fishing all day. Easily my favorite food in Canada and I can’t find them anywhere in the States.

I would gladly respond to this thread if I had a wall in my house that would allow me to buy a 75" TV...we are still using 43" TV's, LCD, Samsungs -
Yes, yes he would. Funny how Whaley was so high that he gave up 3 first round picks and people loved him...now we have a strategy to get four first rounders and people scoff at the idea. Whatever. It wasn't long ago that Cleveland assumed the huuuge contract for Brock Osweiler plus a second rounder from the Texans. The idea being that the Browns had the cap space to eat a big contract and still get a second round draft pick. Al I'm suggesting is that we eat a little money to acquire two first round picks. It's a no brainer. The Jets have about $98 million in cap space and Rick Dennison as offensive consultant....put the pieces together.

2017 Draft - A missed opportunity
BringBackFergy replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, suuuuure. -
That's a difference of $7 million. Please identify one team in the NFL that wouldn't pay $7 million for TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS!!!!! (Because that's really what we're arguing.) By making a $7 million investment over the short term, you are assuring TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS in return. Not even Doug Whaley would pass on that investment.

This is no laughing matter. The future of our team...nay, the future of our lives - hangs in the balance as we try to accumulate first round talent. What better way to bolster our team with young talent than to have 4 first round picks. I seriously don’t think Thyrod can take us to the promised land...but other teams think so. Denver, Jets, Cardinals or even the Jags would steal Tyrod from us quicker than a farmer swiping bacon from a griddle. Franchise him as a “potential free agent”...wait for a suitor, and laugh all the way to the bank with 2 more first rounders. So it costs another $8 million. Big deal. This is our future we’re talkin about.

Bray is trying to explain this to you guys and you aren't listening. Let's say I have a car that I want to keep but I may sell it for the right price. Let's say you really like my car. You are a "potential bidder" on my car even though I haven't decided to sell it yet. If I decide to sell the car, then the car is potentially for sale today but not quite yet. Apply that to Tyrod. Yes he is currently on the team...but there is "potential" that he will become a free agent at some point in the close or distant future. The franchise tag applies to potential free agents. Air go, we can tag him. Geez, can anyone explain this to these guys?

Some guys here seem to think a “potential” free agent is only this year. Tyrod is a “potential free agent” if we don’t pick up option. You see my point. Tag him now and watch the offers come in. I think we can all agree two 1st round picks could be used by our team. That would give us four in the first round and pays us back for the Sammy fiasco. All wrong IMO
