It is MAY. By what basis does "hindsight" apply? Are you from the future? Are you a time traveler? Are you neo? Are you the One? -

Agree here other than JPJ, who I think should have gone in the teens last draft -

He was excellent in coverage at PSU btw -
I guess I'm also a person who just wants my team to consistently contend. Maybe it's because I started rooting for the Bills in the early 80s, and thus spent my formative 20s in the midst of the drought and having the Rob Johnson/Dough Flutie Bills be the best teams since the SB years. At this point, I think coaching and GMs job is just to keep your roster contending for a championship, and anything after that is basically a crapshoot that's gonna come down to super specific matchups, luck, and the occasional transcendent talent coming through. This draft, the cap manuevers, and increased top 5 round picks, will keep the bills contending for another 5+ years, and that's all, I, as a fan, can ask for

We've seen his FSU highlites, so just conentrate here on the MSU highlites, where he's playing against some really good competition with a very average QB. Keon, insspite of geing a 4.5 - 4.6 guy, show the ability to win deep (explosive) and the ability to make guys miss and create space (YAC). Like people get too caught up in just the 40. This kid gets to speed FAST, he's got incredible body control, and can win you 40 yards on any given play against multiple coverage. In football, the reason you want explosive, is you effect the coverage and forces scheme to put extra resources so you can't take your top off. Keon Coleman, with ihs size, elite hands, body control, acceleration, foot quickness is going to create deep seperation, and thus eventually DCs WILL eventually shade coverage deep on him

Last year the Bills WR didn't have a single guy who could run faster than a 4.5 other than Shakir, who didn't even break out till last 1/3 of the season. They had exactly ONE Wr who could win on the perimeter, and he was a dude that didn't have either the body control nor speed to beat shaded coverage beat - the only way Davis was effective as a deep threat was when he was isolated. Defenses did not have to worry about anyone else deep, because pretty much any corner could cover Diggs, beyond 15 yards. This season, teams will have to accoutn for the pure speed of Samuel, Keon Coleman's deep ball ability as a bigger, elite body control, quick WR - he's basically a more athletic version of Gabe Davis, and then deal with what's likely a really good WR in Shakir who seemingly can be effective in all route concepts - a poor man's version of Cooper Kupp. Add to that 2 damn good TEs and a really good back out of the backfield. It may not look like it, but this offense absolutely upgraded in WR this offseason because of the added speed and versaility

The Bills got 2 instant starters, 2 heavy rotation guys, and potentially 2 depth + ST starters in this draft, and people are whining
