  1. NGL a punt feels like a turnover
  2. Is Elam active today?
  3. Ain’t no one in the world thinks Tua is better than Josh. Miami built the perfect offense to make use of Tua’s excellent skill set
  4. The next play was gonna be a 1 yard sneak by Allen for a TD. Didn’t need a reset
  5. Well. They’re playing. The problem is so is Miami.
  6. Josh said ***** them refs
  7. Hes been varying coverage, blitzing, dropping zones….i mean Tua hit a double covered RB down the sideline. You can’t do anything about this except keep playing sound (which they are) and hope the Miami luck runs out at some point
  8. Better secondary
  9. His personell is outmatched.
  10. Bills are going way more pressure heavy and cover 1 than I expected
  11. At this point they’re just getting lucky
  12. This is generally what separates him, and I think he’s gonna earn his money today. This dolphin offense is devastating, just gotta force them to occasional FGs/punts
  13. Bills have 3 quarters to figure a way out to slow down this Miami attack. They almost did it in the first drive except waddle got that lucky bounce on a 2nd and long. gonna be interesting. But as we saw, moving Tua off his first read is gonna be the key, stopping them on 1st down for u4 is big
  14. Beck Waters has those times above. Benford is the fastest DB the bills have right now and he ran a 4.53, so I guess Myles Bryant slower when Jones isn't active. Bills will occasionally play some Cover 3 and man, but I'm not sure we'll see much of that at all against the Dolphins. I think the variation will come with Quarter vs 2 and some cover 6 as well, backers playing man, zone or blizing. But I'd be really surprised if we don't have 2 deep safeties on practically every play
  15. They also have Christian Gonzalaz, Kyle Duggar, Jabrill Peppers, Jonathan Jones and Jalen Mills - all 5 of whom might be faster than any Bills rotational secondary player
  16. Good point. My prior for this OLine was that it was at best an average OLine. Nothing that's happened so far has moved me off that This chart doesn't make any sense to me
  17. I mean they played Howell, Jimmy G, and Zach Wilson which helps quite a bit, but even then they've all looked pretty good by the eye test
  18. Honestly the Bills OLine played better than I thought, but I thought they'd lose 55 - 65% of their battles. That;s a quality DLine they went up against. I also think the offense was dialed back because McDermott felt the Commanders offense didn't have much pop against the D, and the only way they were gonna lose is with turnovers There's some caveats to this, because they played the Jets and Commanders, who own 2 of the 5 best DLine in football.
  19. McDermott isn't moving off White and Benford. He's got arguably the best performing corner pair in the NFL right now, even though the Bills have played crap QBs.
  20. Orlovsky and the NFL Live on ESPN vrew had a wondeful conversation about this last year, well worth the 9 minute listen if you enjoy Ball Talk https://x.com/danorlovsky7/status/1577665506550718464?s=20 EDIT Check the comments in twitter as well. These guys hit on something here on under center vs Shotgun
  21. How just not let this happen, because this is utterly pathetic https://x.com/ThePretendGM/status/1706347703330804171?s=20
  22. He wins with his first read, to be more accurate. And McDaniel is incredible at giving him great first reads and Tua has elite release speed, eyes, accuracy and ball placement
  23. Keep in mind Tua has to be extremely situational on balls over 30- 40 yards. These are shots the WR have to basically win off the ball because he doesn’t have the velocity to win after that. No easy deep shots is rule number one.
  24. Cover 0 will be a big part of the game plan in red zone I think, perhaps even zone man combos on the bills side of the field
