  1. yea I don't know about being reductive with that play. It was a pantheon level play from a pantheon level football player
  2. Von is basically a broken toy. He has one move, run really fast and hope the tackle doesn't catch him. That's how he got to Mahomes actually - the LT couldn't catch up. I've yet to see Von make a move that requires any kind of cut. Until he can do that he's purely a situational player
  3. funny, Von finally had his "moment" this season. And it was massive. Not gonna happen anytime soon. Legal process will take months. And with both alleged victim and Von saying nothing of the sort happened, neither the Bills nor NFL have any basis for suspending him without a lot more hard evidence. More than likely these charges are going to be dropped (which doesn't preclude fans from thinking Von is toxic...this is his 3rd public gross moment that may or may not be illegal)
  4. Think you need to give the Chiefs defense a ton of credit for the 2nd half offensive struggles. They dominated their match ups in the secondary and along the trenches
  5. Probably the worst match up of the season for Buffalo. Dak is playing at an extremely high level, the Cowboys WRs are all cooking, and the Bills have a bunch of zone corners, fairly average backers in coverage, and outside of 43 straight up BAD cover backers, and precariously on the edge of washed safeties. Like if the Cowboys play well that's pretty much 35+ and there's nothing McDermott can do about that. Gonna be down to Allen putting up 350 and 4
  6. yea, but its a terrible match up for the Bills. If the Cowboys play reasonably well on offense no amount of scheming from McDermott is gonna keep that offense from 30+
  7. Now if the Chiefs and their fans could please STFU about this that'd be great. You do the check with the line judge from like Midget football and on and Toney just didn't. That is 100% on him
  8. Ita Josh Allen. You expect him to run it or check it down in those situations. Not try <35% probable completions. This was execution, though yea I would have run it once to get it to the otherside of 2 minutes on first
  9. Something very wrong with Diggs. His route tree is extremely limited and he’s not as quick as he was
  10. Somehow the chiefs have managed to put together one of the best defenses in the league. They were winning battles up front all day and had quality coverage behind it. I think the OC could have leaned on the run game a bit more, but the struggles were understandable
  11. Ha them scoring like that actually had me feeling better about the Bills chances of winning
  12. Can someone remind me how many points SEAN MCDERMOTT’S DEFENSE held Patrick Mahomes to?
  13. Some of you people don’t deserve to enjoy this.
  14. And so many in Bills mafia don’t deserve to enjoy it
  15. Hope to never see this crap again. Go Bills. Go McDermott.
  16. Sean McDermott just said go ***** yourself to hell. Except he’s too nice to say it so I’ll say it for him
  17. So to be clear one can win 46 games and 4 playoff wins over 4 years, and should be fired for going 8-9 and missing the playoffs in an injury riddled season? For that you want to risk having the next Frank Reich or even Ron Rivera?
  18. McDermott has won 65% of his games!!!!!! You’re acting like he’s got a losing record
  19. To be clear, the Bills have lost 6, 3, 6, 3 games the last 4 seasons. You can not claim a pattern of losing when you win 10, 13, 10, and 13 games. This season is clearly an anomaly and if your ague that it’s an argument against reality. McDermott wins football games. The question is really about what he can do against superior football teams with superior talent. That’s basically where he comes up short over his history in Buffalo. Can he get over the hump and have the bills win games against superior talent? Unlikely. That’s also true of 99% of the coaches out there. Almost every year we end up with a Super Bowl winner that’s either the most talented, or near the most talented with enough great combos to overcome any talent deficiencies. There’s only 3 coaches whom I think can be one of those coach combos. Andy Reid, Kyle Shannahan and Sean McVay. What you’re basically saying is there’s a coach out there who’s gonna lead the bills past Reid and Mahomes without having the best roster in the NFL? Or even Joe Burrow when your roster is a shell of its regular season self? Because thats the upgrade to McDermott
  20. Like do people want McDermott fired because they’re frustrated or because they think McDermott lost control of his roster, lost the ability to game plan with his coordinators or because kneeled with 20 seconds left? No. Not remotely close. I think he’s managing Diggs perfectly This is out there folks: https://x.com/rapsheet/status/1729148681402855828?s=46&t=b_6DEUCIOVykcHVZYqq8jg be careful with what you’re asking for. You might just get it. Enjoy your week
  21. Want to make a change? Ask McDermott to hire a DC who’ll end up being the head coach of the defense. Mostly McD has been excellent as a play caller but hey have at that
  22. No this is me wanting the bills to win a SB. There’s a lot more bad coaches than there are good coaches. Th is I’ve learned from being a football sicko - both college and NFL - for decades now. Ousting a legit good coach when he hasn’t lost his locker room and hasn’t stopped being willing to make big changes (such as firing his OC mid season), is a massive risk that I don’t think will pay off
  23. I’ve been a fan since I moved to Buffalo as a 2 year old….in 1981. I’ve been through basically all of it
  24. What would you expect differently out of a different coach with this specific roster and injury situation?
