Stopping the Miami Offense (and Tua the wizard) - Lets hear the ideas.
appoo replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
You need to move Tua off his first read, because that’s the only possible way to pressure him, and once that happens the advantage turns to Buffalo. How you do that is by maintaining your coverage discipline. No one in the NFL can keep up with Tyrke and Waddle in man in their crossers, posts, and post corners. Just not happening. So you have to zone them, but you also have to be varying and disguising your coverage. You have to be willing to let them grind up the field. Most importantly you can’t lose on first down to the run -

A) don’t miss tackles B) discipline in your assignment C) control the gaps D) maintain the edge in the the run game -
Yep. But it’s not any different- or even better - than last season’s Dolphins offense. They’ll get some yards and points but nothing the bills offense can’t keep up with
-
Fortunately they generally play teams with skill players faster than their secondary every week. They’ve jad among the slower secondaries around since the Poyer/Hyde/White era began. bills will pick and choose their moment to play man or zone, and their DLilne and Backers won’t get obliterated like you saw with Denver. Stopping the run is gonna be the key to stopping the Dolphins

Oh no, poor billionaires losing money.

The Premier League & Champion's League is more accesible than the NFL, and those are European soccer competitions Also, you have Billionaire's extorting taxpayers to pay for their ridiculous stadiums, or threatening to move the franchise out of the state. Sure don't steal, but lose me with any kind of empathy or sympathy for these modern day oil barons Buffalo Taxpayer Bill for new stadium that costs 1.4B - 850M Net worth of Terry Pegula: 6.8B Oh and they have the gall to charge you $60 for two hot dogs, some fries and two beers, after y'all pay for over 50% of the stadium -
Running the ball against a defense that stuffed Jacobs and did way better than stats say against the Jets, going up against two really good corners and a fantastic nickel back, not being able to protect our QB against an elite DLine (that doesn't even have Von Miller good gracious), and then the other side not having the backers or really secondary to come close to containing the Bills plethora or weapons. It's almost completely going to come down to not just pressuring Allen, but then containing him and not letting him Josh Allen because we don't remotely have the back 7 to defend this offense in those situations
-
If there is a hole on this 9ers defense is the secondary. Very average
-
Its a good rule as well
-
Bills can shut this offense down with good backer play and forcing Purdy to hit them deep. That all begins with containing the Run game and actually making them care about scoring by being a threat on offense
-
It begins with them not being a heavy blitz or man defense
-
I’m not sure there’s a line in the NFL that can consistently win against that DLine. Thats the big issue
-
That was Purdy’s 3rd interceptable ball this half. This is a Godly man, and I think it’s a bit unfair he gets help from God
-
Whatever it takes to take you mind off addiction right? ——- Giants make a play on 3rd down challenge
-
No, Garappolo broke his foot, and was a free agent. Purdy didn’t even start a game till almost Christmas. Theh literally had like 6 games of Purdy to go off of. Theu stuck with him because he had an average floor, and makes less than a million a year on the cap
-
Hey giants maybe you can throw it to Waller? - all Waller FF owners
-
Can’t even say that. Went 1-1 as a rookie, lost a game in a monsoon to start 2022 and got injured in the first quarter of week 2
-
I can’t stand Purdy. Luckiest freakin QB in history and wildly average
-
It is amazing how boring the 49ers make football
-
Ha, not me. I'm just a fan of fun football, and the Commanders have the potential. Gonna be a fun matchup between McDermott and his secondary and Bienemy and his weapons

https://x.com/MattHarmon_BYB/status/1704970325623013842?s=20 Low-key the Commanders might have the 2nd best set of skill players the Bills see this season McLaurin, Dotson, Brian Robinson, Antonio Gibson and Logan Thomas are a very good to solid set of weapons.
-
They will absolutely do this is part of their opening script
-
Find someone who loves you, as much as Eric Bienemy loves Matt Milano https://x.com/JennaCottrell/status/1704940475331891279?s=20
-
They also low key have a potential elite WR pair in McLaurin and Dotson

Elam a healthy scratch part deux (now part TRES) (now part QUATRO)

And Dane Jackson likely won’t be on the roster. Keep in mind he just turned 22 this past May.
