  1. "Nathan Peterman could end up surprising Buffalo Bills fans by winning the starting job". and the he could (and likely would) NOT surprise this Bills fan by throwing 2-4 interceptions per game and making McDermott look like a fool again. I personally doubt that happens for this reason alone. McCarron could throw a few interceptions and it would be a completely different national reaction than it would for Peter Man. It would take some stones the size of Lackawanna for this to happen. I think they are talking him up because he's trade bait if anything JMO
  2. OAN Miami has a chance to seriously stink it up on offence this year. The were already pretty bad now they have no Ajayi or Landry and is Tannehill an upgrade over Cutler? They usd their first round pick on a db. I don't get what their doing down there but I feel like we can get 2 W's off them this year and that's good news
  3. good for you its early I think ill swerve on this negativity like Josh. See hes rubbing off on me already
  4. I see what your saying but I like the fact that he literally gave them nothing positive or negative to work with, that's what you want. I think he handled it in a really mature way for a rookie. He had the chance to be all over the internet with a cocky response but he wants his play on the field to do the talking. I've been wrong about players may times before but there's a chance we have something special here So sad he doesn't have yours
  5. Allen was not my first choice but digging into his history on and off the field now has me pretty pumped. I think he has the swagger of a star in the NFL. He put TMZ in check without breaking a sweat. I'm in, im ready to give this project my full support. http://www.tmz.com/2018/05/17/josh-allen-jalen-ramsey-trash-talk/
  6. I thought I remember last year them not signing anybody until after rookie camp. To me it makes sense to see what kind of condition the players come in that way you can adjust guarantees and incentives for those who need it. Seems like it should be standard to get them on the field before signing contracts league wide when I think about it.
  7. He broke records in college for receptions so you figured it was mental. He and Taylor didn't seem to have good natural chemistry on the field. Hopefully this is his year! Here's to not seeing Zays ass ever again
  8. So the question is who are they and how do you evaluate them then? The future of the Bills for the next 3-10 years is about to revolve are some dude that will be drafted in a few weeks. The truth is there is no reason to think that Allen will be better than Leaf on the football field. The stats don't back it up level of competition doesn't back it up, what is it that has people so excited about Allen? Its media repeating thing over and over until we all jump on board and the reverse happened with Jackson. Passion is blinding so when things get crazy I say use the data instead of your heart.
  9. Quote from Manning's Draft profile: "Manning does everything well but he may be too serious," the personnel man said. "(Brett) Favre, Fran Tarkenton, Joe Namath ... guys like that don't give a (expletive)." Leaf: “I’d take Ryan Leaf,” Buffalo Bills general manager John Butler said. “I like the big, physical aspects about him. He’s got good mobility, and there’s something about him, kind of tough to say just what, just something that you like in a quarterback. They’re both talented players, but I give the edge to Leaf.” Wow that Leaf comparison sounds a lot like Allen to me. Leaf vs. Manning was the classic what do my eyes and data tell me VS. what do I FEEL this guy could be in the future. We all know how it worked out. Flame if you want but my choice #1 is Mayfield hes the most accurate and has the right attitude (when hes not drunk) and number 2 is Lamar Jackson best stats out of the group. Darnold is pure projection and speculation hes done nothing, Rosen too much going on not mobile injury prone and our oline is probably worse than last year at this point, Allen no, just no
  10. Not impossible technically but when you look at the critiques of the prospects it doesn't seem very likely. Too short, bad accuracy, not sure football will keep his interest, inaccurate, too many interceptions ect. These are things that were not being said about Manning, Luck, and other "can't miss" prospects
  11. Everybody is draft drunk it's pretty clear the article is correct about the fact that there are no elite QBs. If there were we would already know for sure who the top 2 are and we don't have a clue. There's not even agreement on who the top QB is that tells you all you need to know. The guys who end up in the right system have a shot the rest will be average or busts.
  12. So throwing ANOTHER weak arm interception towards one of the top CBs in the NFL on a potential game winning drive in the playoffs is "running tword the goal". I guess we all should be NFL QBs because absolutely anybody could have thrown that hot garbage
  13. I actually like what I know about Rosen and his outspokenness and beliefs but after all of the chatter about JP Losman and how teammates didn't like him I look at that as a big red flag. Losman was such a cocky guy that he got a broken leg in practice from Troy Vincent which almost never happens to a QB in this league. McD is all about team Rosen doesn't seem like his type of guy.
  14. If I had these comps I would be ready to trade every pick we have for the #1 spot in the draft
  15. For me it was the fact that his long game seems more evolved than his short game, injury concerns, attitude concerns and stats
  16. Geno Smith has better college stats than Rosen. He did play one more year but if you look at the percentages they are closer than you think. Darnold has a stronger arm than Pennington but to me they play a similar game other than the fact Darnold has a better deep ball and is better outside the pocket. I could be wrong but so could the talking heads. We all can agree that theres no Luck Manning or Rivers here right? I could potentially agree with this
  17. I like a few QB's in the draft but nowhere near as much as most seem too. I'm really interested in what the average person around here sees that I don't. I would love to know what your best NFL comparison is to who you think the top prospects could become. The way I see it: Sam Darnold = Chad Pennington, Sam Bradford Josh Rosen = Geno Smith, Andy Dalton, Possible attitude comp: Jay Cutler Baker Mayfield = Drew Brees, Doug Flutie Josh Allen = Ryan Mallet, Kyle Boller Lamar Jackson = Mike Vick, Tyrod Tylor Mason Rudolph = Case Keenum, Blake Bortles Any of these guys could turn out to be a star in the right situation but they all have significant bust potential. We definitely have to draft a Qb this year but I wouldn't trade the majority of the Bills picks for any of these guys. The second tier guys Kyle Lauletta, Mike White, Riley Ferguson, Luke Falk are not that far off.
  18. Just as many great fan as there are in Buffalo there are just as many loud mouths that think they know way more about football than they do. After the Jacksonville game I realized that we would have a new QB this year but how could you have anything but love for a guy who embraced the city went from carrer back up to 2x pro bowler and broke the playoff curse. It almost seems personal for some I wonder why
  19. Anderson played in Carolina when McD was there so you already know he's definitely on the radar
  20. Super jealous thinking about Sammy in his prime playing with Aaron Rodgers. Sammy should get 20 touchdowns year one
  21. I like the line up but it seems like you assuming quite a bit here. For starters what you just traded to get Rosen probably makes it impossible to get Hernandez and Chark.
  22. Maybe they met them and looked at the film and decided they are not worth moving up for. So far this class of QBs is deep but has no no-brainer top tier talent. Would it really be that shocking to see a few of those guys drop? If Keenum goes to Denver, and Miami decides to wait to select Tannehill's successor, Cardinals find a vet (wouldn't be surprised if its Tyrod) all of a sudden two of the top 5 QBs in the draft probably drop to the Bills and get drafted where they actually belong. With the number of holes on this team and a cap space crunch it's hard to justify giving up what it would take to move up in this draft.
  23. Well since Tyrod will be the starter for the Bills again to start next season while the rook gets up to speed how about "I make TBD scrubs cry" or "at least i'm not you" shoot thats too many letters how about "bring back Sam"
  24. The things people sit around and think about says so much about them. That "douche bag" went to Stanford he's a multimillionaire athlete and people all over the world come and ask him for his opinion. It's pretty obvious that that makes you uncomfortable. 35 minutes ago I was working with a client Sherman was probably in meetings or rehab. You were sitting somewhere salty wondering what Sherman thinks about Manning and needing to spread some early morning negativity to start your day off.
