  1. There is not one single above average player on this entire team right now
  2. Why did the stop running the formation with CJ and Jackson in at the same time? Is that not the only thing thats worked today?
  3. thanks dude. I vote to give you Chris Browns job
  4. I think we have to resign both these guys and hope we get some better players around them. We are a 4 win team with the guys we have now and we have holes at almost every position. We just can not afford to create any new areas of need. I think Whitner ends up being serviceable and Poz ends up on the bench and a beast on special teams.
  5. I hope im not just being negative but i feel like Brohm has been on this team as the second quarterback long enough to have some idea about how the New Jersey Jets defense works. As Bills fans we just have to stop making excuses for these guys. They are supposed to be professionals and they dang sure make enough money to figure out a way to make themsleves useful. Fitzy was pretty close to making the Pro Bowl with almost the same offensive line. I would personally rather saw 6 sacks than 3 ints. and i bet Gailey agrees
  6. Sorry sir but you are disqualified, not at my request but at the request of my rotted shuffling zombie
  7. I think this is a perfectly valid thread. Im going to lock the thread myself if you guys dont step it up. Brohms uniform fit impeccably and his helmet seemed to fit pretty good as well
  8. Im curious of what you saw from Brohm today that gave you a good feeling about the fact that he will be a good quarterback for the Bills or any other team at any point in his career? Please be specific
  9. good start imo i think you have to keep either poz or whitner because they are our top two tacklers and if you dont improve the pass rush not only are you hurting the defensive line but you are also dooming the dbs for another season
  10. Im not suggesting that there is a civil war going on at 1 Bills Drive but I just think that its doubtful that in ANY war room there is 100% of the people that can agree on 1 guy. In the case of a disagreement when the clock is ticking down on draft day, some one is going to get what they want and someone is going to have to wait for a later round to fill a position or grab a player that they may covet.
  11. I agree with that. At the time that was really the only position on offense that we didn't need a player. I think back to when right before the draft last year Gailey started t talk abut how he wanted a "water bug" on offense although we had obvious needs everywhere on both sides of the ball. Thats really what leads me to believe that Gailey has a lot of influence over the draft. Like it or not going int next season our offense is our strength, especially after the left tackle position is filled. Does Gailey take just one pick, although it is the first pick and take that last piece to what could be a playoff caliber offense? Even if we used our first two picks on lets say AJ Green and Costanzo, and the rest or free agency to address de, lb, cb, qb and ss aren't we all pretty happy at that point?
  12. My question would be how do they come to a consensus on who the best player is? Between all the scouts, the coach, the general manager, assistant gm, and the owner ect. Someone has to have the last word
  13. Thats funny it worked on me as well to the extent that I created a Spiller vs. Barry Sanders thread here. How funny that is too me now lol. Im tired of all the short term marketing based crap going on at 1 Bills drive. Lets face it Ralph nor Nix or Gailey are going to be around forever and they all have alot to prove. Im hoping that they are actually building a team and not just sucking us dry (for lack of a better term) for our hard earned ticket money. The last draft other than Spiller look like long and short term projects ie. Carrington, Easly and Troupe. I hope that means that they actually have a long term plan.
  14. My guess is that it comes down to a battle between Nix and Gailey. Gailey will ask for more offensive weapons and want to take AJ Green and Nix and his assistant from Pittsburgh will want to follow the Pittsburgh model and strengthen the defensive line and linebackers and take Bowers from Clemson. Looks like Gailey won last year with Spiller and the jury is still out on that pick so expect Nix and company to win this year.Da'Quan Bowers is the pick second option Nick Fairley. We came into this season seriously expecting to be the best pass defense in the league so corner most likely wont be the pick. Pass rush will make those guys much better.
  15. If you ever wake up in a good mood and need a good dose of complaining and whining come to this board and u can find complaints and whining on any topic u can imagine.
  16. i cant believe that I talked myself into buying Sunday Ticket. I wish I could smack Edwards once for every extra hour that I have to work to pay for it. I feel like I been in in a abusive relationship for 30 years with this team I swear.
  17. I know its horrible. I would love to show them to my Grandpa but i cant
  18. I agree 100% Thats the thing about him, he looks great every preseason. He looks like he could be a pro bowler sometimes. As the season wears on he just disappears. Im starting to think hes some type of head case
  19. I agree. May very well be the biggest difference between the two. CJ just has game speed thats off the charts. Barry breaks more tackles, but on many of CJs best plays he was too fast to even touch. Im sure thats less likely in the NFL but it only takes 1 gap, 1 time, in 60 minutes and he can and will score.
  20. Someone mentioned Sayers in the Shout box. His running style looks just like CJ to me. Gayle Sayers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8l8pJcg7Ms
  21. Dang man dont do that too me. What are you thinking
  22. Ok I may as well start my first post with a bang. Its obvious sacrilege to compare the great Barry Sanders to a rookie who has never played in the regular season even if they are very much comparable in size and speed. Is it OK to compare said player when they were both in college? Please humor me a watch both vids and tell me if I should hop off line and head to the shrink. Barry Sanders Oklahoma State (previously back up to the great Thurman Thomas) Clifford Spiller Jr.
