  1. Karl Rove is a Bushie. I really think he holds his nose when having to say something positive about Trump.
  2. I'm not...two turds in a toilet
  3. I thought 7-9 to 9-7 with a slight chance of 10-6. I thought the defense would carry the team and the offense wouldn't be this bad. I suspected those calling for 4 or 5 wins were off...turns out they're right.
  4. Yep. Mercedes Benz, too. Saw a couple of "Winter sales event" commercials during SNF. Seems to get earlier every year; soon Christmas stuff will come out on Labor Day.
  5. Not worth getting angry. We're just fans and along for the ride. There's other things in life worth paying attention to. With that said, the offensive coaching staff needs a serious overhaul after the season. You can't score this little, even with the dearth of talent on offense.
  6. Maybe not the first half, but the second half they ran away with it. Have to play both halfs. It doesn't help that the offense is useless and the D probably gets winded. I still don't think McD would be able to beat either McMay or Payton.
  7. McD would get crushed against the Rams or Saints, even with a full reload of talent on offense. His conservative play, keep it close philosophy would not be able to keep up with what McVay or Payton would scheme up. This is what troubles me with McD the most.
  8. Yep. This is a little surprising. Plus they're getting no pressure on Brees, who is picking apart the Rams zone D.
  9. Maybe Vontae Davis was on to something.
  10. Maybe Peterman gets cut. But other than that, won't happen...unfortunately.
  11. I thought I remember Gruden and Al Davis did not get along back then; kind of odd, trading a coach. Either way, they would have been better off keeping Gruden.
  12. The Raiders firing Jon Gruden after the 2001 season. Then the Raiders firing Jack Del Rio after the 2017 season. That team has gone full circle within 16 years.
  13. This is probably the best way to look at it. See if his availability is spotty ala EJ Gaines, if it is then don't bring him back next year. If he only misses these two games, for example, and his production is at least decent, he probably is worth bringing back. Trent is not the biggest problem we have right now and there seems to be no reason to get rid of him at this point; it's not like we're vying for a playoff spot.
  14. The Saints are a great team, no doubt. But I'll go with the Rams in this one. At mid season, it looks like a Rams vs NE SB (not sure who in the AFC will beat them, unfortunately). So the Eagles got their revenge on NE last year, the Rams get theirs this year; all that is needed is the Panthers next year, but not holding my breath on that one. Spygate era retribution.
  15. Good stuff. Thanks for posting. Probably a done deal if Carolina lets him go. If he's better than Mills, then why not...
  16. In other words, sell ketchup popsicles to women in white gloves. No sweat.
  17. Sounds good. Hope you're right. Beane has to knock it out of the park drafting (which is possible) and our pro personnel dept needs to do the same in FA (which I'm concerned about).
  18. Hard to see how this offense gets completely fixed in the offseason. Too many needs even with 10 draft picks and $91M cap space.
  19. %&*$, that's coming back. Except if it was a Pats* receiver, it's a TD
  20. Wow. Croom shows up big time
  21. I think I'd rather keep Daboll, in that case
  22. Phillip Gaines is terrible.
  23. Edmunds replacement misses the tackle. That will kill us.
  24. McD, send pressure up the middle. can't give Brady that kind of time
