  1. The last paragraph in the article finished with this exact sentiment. They Pats can get players to take paycuts since they're perennial favorites to go to the SB.
  2. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000987019/article/dion-lewis-blasts-cheap-patriots-after-titans-win Dion Lewis calls the Patriots cheap - as in not wanting to pay players. "Hell yeah it's personal," Lewis said. "That's what happens when you go cheap. You get your ass kicked."
  3. Interesting that the article mentioned Green Bay as a team to watch. Implications that Mike McCarthy is definitely done there? Cleveland would make a lot of sense if Harbaugh grew up a Browns fan and is tied to the GM, Dorsey, via Andy Reid. The mutual parting of ways could soon become bad blood.
  4. I went into a bar with some friends a couple of years ago to watch the Bills game and was wearing a Bills hat. Our waitress was from western NY and was also a fan. She bought me a bottle of Labatts. Not too bad since there are mostly Redskin fans where I live.
  5. With the tear down and rebuild route they've chosen, McD and Beane have to nail the upcoming draft and FA and show significant improvement in the 2019 season. I'm don't think anything below 8-8 would be good enough based on how poorly they handled 2018. If we're in a similar position a year from now, I'd be surprised if these two see 2020 as coach/GM.
  6. A little over the top. I wish Whaley success. That league will be lucky to last 4 years given historical precedent.
  7. Pretty much the entire offense coaching staff will need to be replaced. I don't see who/what is there now having a positive effect on Allen's development or being able to bring in much needed talent. Since McD had two chances to bring in the staff he wanted, and has failed, I don't think he should get, or deserves, a third chance. If the Pegulas were smart, they would bring in a third party (i.e. offensive consultant) to guide those decisions. McD should have to live with that since he has been prone to make very questionable decisions regarding offensive matters.
  8. If I was Fitz, I'd still be pissed. Don't blame him for not wanting to come back here and stay in Tampa.
  9. This is pretty tasteless and unnecessary. And I'm one who doesn't want to see Peterman back on the field again.
  10. Nancy Pelosi is proof that a retarded woman can survive in politics. Nothing left in her empty skull other than bong residue and acid flash backs.
  11. The James loss is disappointing. By Dem logic, the voters in Michigan are #raysis
  12. Good live update site: https://www.foxnews.com/midterms-2018/gubernatorial Looks like he was more concerned with the Senate, which he'll use to push his agenda through. I'm sure Trump has a plan to deal with the insane crap that will come from the House the next two years.
  13. Upstate NY is a mess. Didn't used to be so 20+ years ago. High property taxes have caused the average working person to leave. None of my family lives there anymore. A lot of old neighbors and HS classmates have left. Years of Dem Governors have killed the state, not many north of the NYC area can afford to live there, in addition to many businesses have left to get away from the high taxes.
  14. Not a surprise. The D's will overplay their hand and lose big in 2020, they're just too stupid to see this. Lots of EO's from Trump the next two years in anticipation of reelection. Senate should easily pass judge nominations.
  15. One day we'll be forced to, and it will be painful. But that is still a ways off. Japan, Europe, and now China have more debt to GDP than we do.
  16. I guess Georgians we're too excited about the possibility of further limitations on firearms. What a dumb platform to run on. Obama and Oprah are clueless.
  17. I think Trump suspected this. He made some comments about doing his part to help while taking a slight at the leadership (Paul Ryan). It was telling that he focused on the Senate during the past couple of days.
  18. Chris Wallace is insufferable. What that blathering idiot is missing is that historically the party out of control of the White House historically makes large gains. The D's are far from doing that.
  19. She has a big lead (65%-34%) with 46% of the vote reporting
  20. Menendez is a VD that NJ can't, or doesn't want to shake. Looks like he'll return to the Senate, rather than jail.
  21. I really hope Fox has egg on it's face by calling the House so soon.
  22. If the precincts are populous, such as Northern Virginia, it is relevant.
  23. Mitt Romney wins Utah Senate seat. Should be interesting since he's not a Trump fan. R's need to stick together like the D's do; R's are too fragmented.
  24. That's probably what they'll want everyone to believe. The D's will overplay their hand like they usually do and will end up losing the House, not regaining the Senate, and will lose the President's race.
