  1. I like this guy. I hope he stays in the league for the long haul.
  2. It's not exactly a must win, though it is. Losing this game would suck...it is a game the Bills are supposed to win and should win. Plus the Bengals are in the AFC, so that can count in a tie breaker scenario for a WC spot and seed positioning.
  3. Josh is definitely up there; he has also been getting a lot of national media attention. That said, I'd add Mahomes to the exciting list.
  4. This is a fair and rational take. What I want to see is that McD has learned how to be an NFL HC, in particular will he modify his defensive game plan based on who the opponent is rather than run the same scheme week after week. You say the team has the confidence of the Patriots (maybe so), but they need the adaptability of the Patriots, especially on defense. Belichick doesn't have a standard scheme, but modifies what he does based on the opponent; I've heard this from a Pats defensive player during a TV segment on that team. I want McD and Frazier to do this, as well as not take their foot off the gas pedal; if they're up by 14, great, now go up by 21. I hope I'm not asking/expecting too much.
  5. We're off to a good start, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. A solid victory over Cincy and at least playing NE aggressively (while not getting blown out) will go a long way to determining that this team should be taken seriously, both the rest of the season and in the playoffs.
  6. I don't see how. AB threatened an accuser, right? It must be pretty bad if the Pats** cut him.
  7. O.J. has become a fountain of wisdom. Who would have guessed...
  8. AB is done in the NFL. No one wants to deal with all his baggage, as talented as AB is.
  9. Meh, it's only week 3. Still a lot of rust and we don't exactly know who most of these teams really are.
  10. Mariota was at the fringe when he got pushed out. He feasibly could have turned back in bounds if he wanted to.
  11. As Vrabel adds "I know Tom Brady, Robert Kraft, AND Bill Belichick"
  12. Minshew has some accuracy issues throwing on the run. Seems that is a fairly common theme with young QBs
  13. I'd think it's safer to start Mariotta, warts and all, vs starting Tannehill.
  14. Cap space vs Dareus' effort, I think it does make sense. Either way, it's a shame things ended up the way they did.
  15. If Minshew keeps playing well enough so the Jags are relevant by week 11, does Foles return as the starter?
  16. Thanks, I didn't catch his sack. Dareus could be loads better than a lot of DTs in the league, he just doesn't apply himself.
  17. No Marcel Dareus sightings tonight? Getting rid of him was the right decision.
  18. Jalen Ramsey got toasted deep. Love it.
  19. Par for the course. Marrone went for a 2 point conversion at the end of the game last week rather than kicking the extra point and sending the game to OT. They ended up losing the game.
  20. I'd think we'll see Mariota. Doubt Vrabel wants a QB controversy, especially with another mediocre/underperforming QB in Tannehill.
  21. Mariota is OK. Also consider the conditions; rainy which makes the ball and field slippery
  22. Not just look into, but legitimately investigate how that organization bypasses rules and procedures. Past investigations with the Pats has been basically superficial; "inflate gate" was a joke.
  23. When did I say, or even insinuate this? The whole point is that I'm not going to blindly believe in platitudes. For the 10th time, McD has to PROVE it. If they lose to the Patriots, I can live with that. It is HOW they play, not just the result.
  24. I want to, believe me, I do. But McD has to prove it this year. We're off to a good start, but we need to continue by beating teams like the Bengals (who we should beat) and the Patriots (to be the man you have to beat the man.)
  25. Have another cup of Process
