  1. Hey, if you are gonna throw fox news under the bus you might as well include about every other news outlet as well. Cheap shot, we are not all flaming libs.
  2. These are the kind of posts that get me excited every year... 'IF all our guys play to the level we expect them to, we will have an awesome year.' It just never seems to happen and we then realize they just are no good. Hope this year proves different, but not counting on it, even with new coaches.
  3. Chan's gift to bills fans... "show me the baby". Hard not to get excited each off-season, but I won't buy in to anything until they start proving it on the field.
  4. Hopefully he learns to tuck that ball away on his runs. Looks like he knows when and how to slide.
  5. Time to commit and double down - draft QB with first pick this year and next year regardless of outcome. Unless this year's pick takes us deep into playoffs, and we all know the likelihood of that happening.
  6. Here you go, Buffalo at #14 http://masseyratings.com/rate.php?lg=nfl
  7. His inaccuracy does really scare me at times. BUT your post is hard to argue with. Makes me think of Jim Kelly days when I never fully appreciated what we had, if he wasn't 100% perfect. Thanks for the hard facts here. Go Fitz!
  8. Oh yeah... and I rather play the Pats with replacement refs and not the regulars who have been favoring the Pats for years with phantom calls.
  9. Perfect opportunity here for the commish to make a statement and get the league to back off these replacements, as they have been trying to do. A one game suspension would be a good balance to missing our 2 top backs. Just hoping.
  10. For once our punter is not the team's leading MVP candidate!
  11. The depth on this team this year should finally put a dent in our perennial issue with injuries, especially depth on the OL as they arguably suffered the worst injury issues last year. They managed so well with yards per carry and few sacks last year - even though partially due to game planning (getting rid of ball quickly). Now with some depth, there should be fewer injuries due to wear and tear, and less drop off when starters get a breather. And the battle of who makes the team alone is cause for excitement - not a bad option all around... Let's get this season started already!
  12. He is also simplifying by drafting mostly players that have injury free 3+ seasons. That is key.
  13. Thanks. I follow both teams, mostly Bills. The past 10+ years this has been a particularly painfull combo. But finally turning a corner I hope.
  14. Great points. Interesting to see all in one list. Collectively this hopefully also translates to more depth that can keep guys off IR more than recent years. That alone would be huge.
  15. I thought I read an article this past year how tax revenues generated by the team through income tax on player salaries and sales tax on team sales make a significant amount of the tax funds needed.
  16. Dude, I believe your are in Syracuse, no? ...Seriously though great developments.
  17. Better yet, do they still have free drinks from 4-5 for happy hour by the airport?
  18. Can Fitz just lead a WR on one deep ball? How about make an effort to get a little fired up? ... Can we keep our helmets on? D is embarrasing enough. Bad is bad. Pathetic is that much harder to take.... They have to be trying to lose.... OK, just had to vent. Feeling (a little) better now.
  19. With a big IF, I gotta say that I agree, especially when seeing TKO Spikes flying around for the 49ers this year. A good example of why not to give up on Merriman yet. And despite offering little on the field so far, I do believe he must have helped attract free agents since he came here.
  20. Well put... Couldn't say it any better myself.
  21. I also want to see him on the O-line in goal-line situations.
  22. I like the date headings that are missing in the beta format but otherwise looks great! (headings help break it up and keep track easier of what I've read already)
  23. I am looking forward to Fitzgibbons going into the season as the starter which would be even more exciting if he actually gets a camp and preseason in too. (I cannot stop thinking about what might have happened if that were the case last year). I am hopeful for a Dareus-Troup-Williams D-line, but I do like a lot of combinations we can put together for 3-4 or 4-3. May take another year to come together. And maybe it is a wishful thinking, and even so maybe a couple seasons away, but how about Jasper on the O-line in goal line situations?
