  1. Okay, I get that. Cordy is very good. I agree. But if you get a second OT, the better one, whichever that is, plays the blind side. If you don't have a second OT, though, like currently do not, what happens when the other team actually has a second good pass rusher? Or, like with Mario Williams, the best pass rusher likes to play against that RT that isn't as good as the LT? Your QB goes down, you can't run the ball well, etc. I am completely fine with us drafting an OT. Even if Cordy remains awesome and the other LT never surpasses him, if Cordy ends up leaving after his contract is up, we would then have someone to plug in at LT instead of being screwed like we were after Jason Peters. Additionally, the FO has more leverage when Cordy's contract comes up, saying "hey, we don't absolutely need you, we can just plug in this other incredible LT." Then, we have the chance of keeping Cordy long term at a fair price that doesn't keep us from being able to pay anyone else, we have another OT to take care of the other side of the line, and we're set at C with Woods long term, so we just need some serviceable guards and have a great offensive line that can dominate at the line of scrimmage for years to come. How is that a bad thing, or not game-changing? Dominating the line of scrimmage is game changing at its most basic, even if it's not what you see in the replays.
  2. Nothing pisses me off more with regards to the draft than considering any of the three top OT in this draft, all of whom are probably better than any of the OTs from the last draft, RTs. Even if they play their first year or two as a RT, they were drafted to be LTs, and they will most likely become LTs unless they bust. I also get mad at anyone who says that it would be a waste for us to draft a RT in this draft. The only way they would stay a RT is if they are unable to outplay Cordy. Once they start to outplay the LT, they will become the LT. And judging by the skills of the OTs in this draft, that phase in their development should actually come fairly quickly. That's not disrespecting Cordy, that's saying how good these OTs likely will become. Anyone who says that drafting an OT would be a waste because it wouldn't be a difference-making pick is kinda ignorant in my opinion, as you would be getting one of the best OTs in the game and the makings of an absolutely dominant line. Dominant offensive lines are something we've lacked for the past couple decades, and probably explain why we've had so much trouble developing a QB. Even if Manuel isn't the QB of the future for us, we'd at the very least have a line to provide a safety blanket for the next QB we try to develop.
  3. There are some on there I think are MUCH better than the current iteration of the team's uniform, like the Jags, Eagles, Raiders, and Dolphins, but there are others that are REALLY bad, including the Bills. It was weird, cause when I saw the Giants in the first row, the colors and everything really looked like a Bills uniform until I took in the huge NY on the front
  4. I don't get why all of you are like "RTs aren't difference makers" or "we should get an elite player, and RTs aren't elite" and all that. If one of the best players in the draft happens to be a tackle, and for now you can plug him in at RT because you have an even better tackle already at LT, then you have the foundation of an absolute kick@$$ dominant line. If that tackle becomes better Cordy, or Cordy gets hurt, he could then slide over to LT, and there's no drop off at the position. So argueing that we shouldn't draft one of the best players in the draft simply because we already have a very good LT in Cordy Glenn makes absolutely no sense to me. All that being said, I believe that if Sammy Watkins is still on the board when we draft, he should definitely be the pick. If not, then one of the two top tackles. I believe that 3-4 QBs will go before we draft, as well as Clowney, so if all of those are off the board, you go with either Barr or Mack. That's my opinion.
  5. I just can't see there being less than 3 QBs taken before we get on the clock, which means he is most likely gone. To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't be surprised by 4 or more. There are a lot of QB hungry teams out there, and no real stop-gap solutions in FA, so teams will reach for QBs. I don't think there's any chance he's still around when we're on the clock.
  6. Something that might be more telling is the record of teams when they are in one score games in the last 10-15 minutes. I'd say it's a close game if you're only one score ahead or one score behind in the fourth quarter. IMO, you can still have a close game even if the team that is up manages a pick-6 in the last two minutes (or something else along those lines), putting the score differential at >8 points.
  7. Well this sucks. I'm finally going to be home for a game this season instead of at college and was looking forward to watching a Bills game in the comfort of my own home, instead of having to go out to a sports bar. Now I'm going to have to, anyways...
  8. I'd be in favor of drafting a QB early this year, as well. We don't know how Manuel will turn out, but is there any reason to put all your eggs in one basket? Keep Manuel, draft another QB, then give them more weapons at WR and TE (and do addition by subtraction by getting rid of TJ Graham), improve the offensive line, and let the defense worry about itself. Focus on the offense. Offense wins championships. The only reason the defense has had trouble this year is because they're put on the field so much by a failing offense that gives the ball back to the other team far too quickly. If we can develop a QB, that defense would be protecting a lead, they wouldn't be on the field as much, and would be able to tee off on QBs even more than they already do. Then a year or two down the road, when we've determined which QB is better, we can use the other for trade bait, hopefully get more high draft picks, and keep a winning cycle going (for once in this franchise's history). Granted, that's a pretty rosy outlook, but it's possible, especially if we can replace Hackett with an OC that actually has any idea what he's doing, whatsoever.
  9. Of course you have. Any time Goodwin goes deep, he's interfered with much worse than that
  10. I've been wondering the same thing the past decade
  11. How many times have we seen Chandler run into the path of the ball carrier? He's retarded when trying to block down field
  12. I just heard "The Buffalo Bills showed up here at 4-8..." We showed up this week? Coulda fooled me
  13. Wow, that last TD was bad. Aaron Williams is just like "oh, please, take the entire middle of the field. I'll just stand here on the outside doing nothing."
  14. Does anyone know where I can find video of all the penalties called in a week? As a Bills fan, especially after that phantom call on Aaron Williams, I feel like we're unfairly picked on with respect to penalties, week in and week out. This wouldn't help me find the videos of the blatant penalties that should have been called but weren't, but I could try to figure out if other teams are getting screwed just as much as we are. Also, since I wouldn't be as biased during the week as duing the middle of the game, I could try to figure out if we actually are getting screwed by the refs.
  15. FINALLY we get a F***ing call. What the H*** is wrong with these refs?
  16. Eh, I go into every game knowing the refs are going to try to screw us over. Doesn't matter if it's home or away.
  17. I'm really amused by how he says that EJ is careless with the football. 7 games, 4 INTs. Dead on there. EJ's very careless with it.
  18. Not only that, but I remember three consecutive drives where I was just getting more and more pissed off at the refs. There was the Kyle Williams penalty first, which was complete bull. Then the no call on their last touchdown on 3rd down where the receiver stepped out of bounds, right before he caught it, then stepped back in as he made the catch. That's illegal touching and should at least have been brought back. Then the next drive there was the no call on the obvious pass interference on the Goodwin bomb. We punt it, they come back down the field. We sack Dalton on (I believe) 3rd down. The ref directly behind Dalton calls a facemask, when both defenders grabbed shoulder pads. Not even helmet. I left the bar I was at after that call.
  19. I'm so pissed about that game, more because of the refs than anything. It was such bulls***. On that last punt return, they literally tackled one of our gunners from behind. No flag. The Kyle Williams flag? Bullcrap. The last passing touchdown Dalton had? The receiver stepped out of bounds, came back in just in time to catch the ball. No flag. The deep pass to Goodwin the next play? The CB grabs him from behind and pulls him backwards out of reach of the ball. No flag. The sack of Dalton that was called a facemask? The ref literally right behind him called it, he couldn't even see the facemask, and the two defensive lineman that grabbed him both obviously grabbed shoulder pads, not even anywhere on the helmet. Crap penalty. Every time we stopped them on 3rd down, it seemed like the refs gave them a first down for no reason. That Robey penalty on A.J. Green? About as clean of a play as it gets in the NFL these days. There was nothing there. It was stupid. I've never been so pissed off at all the bull crap and non-calls.
  20. How was that last touchdown NOT illegal touching? Can anyone go back and look? That looked to me like the WR stepped out, came back in and caught it
  21. Damn I'm glad your not making decisions for the Bills...
  22. I've been watching the game but haven't been on here much yet today. I've heard sporadically about injuries...CJ, Dareus, McKelvin... Can anyone sum up who has been injured/is out for the rest of the game? This hasn't been too good of a game for us...
  23. Sorry, but I'm not that excited about any of these. Webb could end up being a decent guard eventually, but no way should he be the swing tackle or hope to replace anyone. Fells has never impressed and just been passed from team to team. Banks is a feel-good story that got cut even though people WANTED him to make the team. Ballard has lost not one but a few steps since injury and isn't very good any more. Routt couldn't stick with the Raiders on a team completely devoid of talent. What does that tell you about him? And finally, I know nothing about Marc Anthony, but just because he came from the Ravens doesn't mean he's any good. In fact, their DBs are probably as bad as they have been in a while, which means that if he couldn't provide depth on that team, he probably won't make it anywhere.
  24. I think you're all missing something. Practice squads aren't created until the day after everyone has to be down to 53 players on the roster. I feel like Rogers was cut for one of two reasons: 1) he was horrible in some way and the coaches felt like they didn't want him on the team or 2) He would be expected to play a lot in this final game, so if they are trying to get him onto the practice squad, not being on the team for the 4th game combined with his very limited number of snaps means that there is very little tape on him. Other teams don't know anything about him as a pro, other than that he was one of the first cuts, and he would have very little time to learn a new playbook. Therefore, cutting him now is probably the best way to "sneak" him onto the practice squad, if that's what they are trying to do.
