Tried to make a market for Shady by talking him up, A LOT. Didn’t happen from the looks of things. No one was biting, not for that contract and age. With the savings, it was time to move on.

NFL Network Top 100 Players - total snub?
Wayne Cubed replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea the process in general isn't indicative of what's going on around the league. The players are given a list of already narrowed down players and then asked to rank their top 20 out of that list. They then add up all the rankings and that forms the list. Ties in 'points' the NFLN makes the decision of who gets ranked where. EDIT: I feel like one of these threads starts every year when a Bills player isn't ranked or ranked "high enough". -
Ex-Bills WR Brandon Reilly claimed by Steelers
Wayne Cubed replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But, but he was FEATURED on Buffalo Bills: Embedded. -
That's a good question. Although some of the benefits aren't yet proven, the Cryo treatments are supposed to be particularly beneficial to muscle strains and pains.

My WR ranking through Week 1 of Camp.
Wayne Cubed replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just because it makes for entertaining TV/web serires doesn't mean that's what the coaches or GM are thinking, at all. A show producer is looking for interesting stories that can generate views not who the Bills prefer at WR. Lots of guys were probably a priority but they wanted to show you the viewer how the UDFA process works which then makes you think he's a bigger part of their plans than he really is. There have been plenty of those same kind of stories shown on Hard Knocks and those guys have ended up out of the league. Also, you don't know what kind of "full-court press" they put into getting any of the other WRs that are on the bubble, you are just going on what you've been allowed to see. -

AFC Position Group Breakdown
Wayne Cubed replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could disagree with a couple of the position groups but I think the overall numbers feel right, although I'd say the Bills/Jets are probably a bit closer to the Pats and the Dolphins probably aren't that low down. -
J. Palmer on Allen ‘blue collar, work ethic, farmer’
Wayne Cubed replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea that's what I took away as well. He's the most intriguing of the 3 because he could be really great if he puts it all together. -
[Vague Title] Allen Hurns releases
Wayne Cubed replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's not been able to replicate that 2015 season. He WAS a good player, I'm just not sure he is anymore. Feel like the Bills kick the tire on lots of WRs soooooo, he could be an option. -
NFL.com ranks Top 25 QB's of All Time: Jim Kelly #21
Wayne Cubed replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not really sure what point you are trying to make and how that discounts Jimbo. He actually has the production to back up playing with those players. And let's not forget Jimbo spent 2 years in the AFL and I'm pretty sure if he were in the NFL in that time he would have blown Aikman out of the water in terms of production. Even without those 2 years, he still out preforms Aikman, in less games and about 50 more attempts. Aikman should be in the Hall of Very Good, I don't think he's one of the greatest to ever play the position. -

I agree with everything you say but allow me to counter and play devils advocate if I may. What are we saying defines “Greatest QB to Ever Play”? Are we saying stats that define the position of QB make up the decision or are we saying wins, which one could argue are a team metric, make up that decision? Because as far as passers of the ball, there are none better than Rodgers. Is he the best leader? No. But then is that what defines a great QB? You could also argue the Packers wasted many years of Rogers career and he certainly hasn’t benefited from having one of the greatest coaches of all time there in GB. Both Montana/Brady have had better coaches surrounding them. It seems as though it’s a case by case bases where we define some QBs by their stats and others by their ability to win. It also seems as if it’s only the QB position that we do this with. -

I can never understand the Aikman arguments. I think he borderline doesn't belong in the HoF. Put him up against his contemporaries at the time and it's not even close. That Dallas team was loaded with talent and he rode the wave, much like Bradshaw. And the argument that his teams were winning so they ran more, is ridiculous. -
I don’t like VAR for penalties because as you say it can be subjective. I do like it for offside tho. Being offside has a lot of moving parts and the speed of the game makes it difficult for refs to be certain. If you are in and offside position, it shouldn’t really be subjective. Although they need to go back to you are either offside or not. This being in an offside position but not interfering with the play so not offside is stupid. A defender can’t be certain if you are offside or not and so therefore has to account for you as a player and your ability to be involved. The whole were they interfering or not brings in too much subjectivity.

Er, as opposed to a 6 beating a 3 and then a 6 beating a 1 AND then winning the Super Bowl, which the 2010 Packers and 2005 Steelers did. I'm not really sure I follow how a lower seed beating a higher seed cheapens a league. The 6th seeds in the NFL have done relatively well and many have advanced to the AFC/NFC Championships. That means they've been beating the 1 seeds. Why does it matter that they've done it a round later in the playoffs? I don't think for a second that's making the league worse off. I'm not saying expand to 8 teams, I'm just not sure I get why a bye is necessary.

Wowser £5 a pint, you must have been in London. Across the UK you'd find most pints are around £3.

Set myself up for that one really.

Wouldn't it technically be called the outer exposed crust? I like to dip my outer exposed crust in the leftover sauce from the wings and then dip it in the bleu cheese.
