Im confused, ur qb scores the only offensive touchdown but gets an F. Granted his play wasnt great, but u give the running backs a d.. and they were ghosts on the field. U even allude to how bad they were... they didnt rush for over 50 combined yards... if that isnt failure idk what is

Seriously can we start anymore threads about blaming TE for the lost. What else did he do? This could have easily been posted in the i hate TE thread. But its like everyone wants to be the first to say i told u so. It was the same thing with redskins game, all the i told you so'ers came out in full force, trying to one up each other about who can spot how much TE sucked. Then when chan ajusted and we played better against indy it was a conpletely different tone around here. No offense its gettting old and makes coming on this board looking for good discussion impossible. I get it you dont like TE and if u were a coach or in the FO u could run this team to multiple championships. It just that it might be nice to see some sort of other discussion instead of seeing the first 5 threads about trent, cant it all be said in one thread?

Kelsau blew like 5 coverage assignments. He was terrible. Id rather see maybin, who has speed, out there covering.

agreed, the rb core as a whole looked like sh$t. what happened to developing the run? CJ 7 rushes for 6 yards... kinda lame if you ask me.. the injured backs had better games. I saw the offense as a whole sucking.

the guy just looked terrible out there.. i'd rather have maybin out there, at least he is fast enough to cover a receiver

i love how people wanna throw it all on trent. what happened to establishing the run. we came out with 3 pass plays. how is that establishing the run? im confused? i guess its just easy to pin it on one guy, instead of the offense as a whole.

I think i might be the only one who thinks this is ridiculous. Reggie cheated off the field, and yet an award thats given for ur on the field preformace is taken away. The kid was still the best player in college football that year, hands down. Idk if i would even call it cheating, he broke the rules. Its not like what he did made him play better. He still had to go out there every week and bust his butt. I mean oj allegadly killed 2 people, yet his heisman is still at usc. I just dont like how the school has taken down any memory of the kid. so let me get this straight, its ok to be proven to be using drugs(not passing a drug test) which can be just as bad to the NFL and the team that it happens too. Then you bring a GUN to an airport and that situation should be treated differently? please explain. YOU GET CHARGED WITH THE SAME CRIME AS LYNCH DID. Rogers got off with a freaking FINE... no suspension at all. Im not defending what lynch did and i think you think thats what i'm implying... i'm simply saying that if carrying a gun gets you 4 games for 1 person, it should get you 4 games for another person... especially if both people have prior offenses.

I will admit Roger has no idea about handing out punishment. Same kind of thing is going on with Shaun Rogers... guy has already been suspended 4 games for violating the leagues drug policy... brings a gun to the airport, charged with a felony.... gets a fine, makes no sense. Lynch has the same gun charge with no prior suspensions by the nfl and gets 4 games... i don't get it.

Shaun Rodgers Punishment Doesn't it seem a little weird that Shaun Rogers(DT for cleveland browns) is caught with a gun in an aiport. Was being charged with a felony like Marshawn, yet the league decides to give him a fine and not a suspension. Maybe its just me but RG seems kind of all over the place on his punishments. Either that or its because Marshawn had one other incident prior. Anyways just thought it was kind of interesting.

Im pretty sure i remember clayton singing edwards praises when he won 5 out of 6 games 2 years ago. That being said his article is more or less a what have you done lately. Which is nothing really. With wins come respect, if we start winning and Trent plays well i'm sure writers opinions will change.

Looks like we have 78 active players(according to BB.com). Meaning come tuesday we have to cut 3. The number of cuts is a little low because of the 3 IR players we have and 1 PUP player. Which 3 do would you cut? 1. Andre Anderson 2. Sean Allen 3. Aaron Rhea i'd keep it simple.

I heard an interesting stat about the pre season from Bob Matthews a couple weeks ago. He had researched and found that over the past 10 years teams that went to the playoffs had a preseason record of(i might be off on the numbers) 39-36 and teams that didn't make the playoffs were 34-41. Basically saying teams for the most part that go to the playoffs have a winning or .500 record in preseason and teams that are below .500 don't make the playoffs. He did point out the 2 exceptions, which were tampa bay(0-4 in preseason) who went to the super bowl and detroit(4-0 in preseason) who then went 0-16 in the regular season. That being said i wouldn't say the preseason means nothing, but looking at it under a microscope and scrutinizing every little thing doesn't make a whole lot of sense either.
