  1. +1 For the most part this just supports peoples hatred of Trent. But you said it best its just poor play from a our #1 QB and "superstar" wr.
  2. no problem. in the end we are on the same side. it just would be arguing semantics. we see things differently and thats fine.
  3. See, to me there is no point in discussing anything about this team, im gonna be wrong, in your eyes, You have made up your mind about this team, and thats fine, you're allowed to have ur opinion. no hard feelings. its just the first preseason game.
  4. I'm sorry to rain in on the negative parade that you guys are enjoying so much but why it is only first preseason game a spin. What did you honestly expect from the first PRESEASON GAME? Domination? In the end this game doesn't matter at all. And thats the truth. The cowboys starting unit hasn't scored a TD yet in 2 preseason games. Yes the cowboys are a completely different animal. Thats what the preseason is for, figuring stuff out. Anyways continue with the negativity in 3,2,1...
  5. +1 His delivery looked real weird. Guy was playing back-ups and looked average. Not a reason for the coulda, shoulda, woulda's. He still looks cocky too.
  6. here's all the info on the stadium you need if a team came to LA http://www.losangelesfootballstadium.com/ honestly, living in LA and being from western NY, these people don't care about the NFL. I think even if a team does move here, they will pay little attention to it. Yes maybe at first, but the friggin stadium they wanna build is pretty far away. Especially far away from where all the actual money is in LA, which is the west side. With no public transportation thats any good and highways that are jam packed, it would be such a pain to get there. Every other major LA sport is centrally located and easy to get to. Idk just my 2 cents
  7. +1 Gotta love the commitment he had. So much that he had the top part of his finger cut off so he could keep playing. He was one crazy SOB.
  8. why is it that everyday a post is done on this board about how easy it would be just to offer up lynch and get some amazing draft pick or player back for it... its not gonna happen. get over it.
  9. good read. why use the word "footballing" and not just football empire?
  10. I live in L.A. and the bills backers bar that i go to, the jets fans are just obnoxious, can't stand them. i've started to dislike them most out of all the afc east rivals.
  11. Very interesting take on "Snatch-Head" vs Henne Link "Sanchez is the reason that I won't pick NYJ as a playoff team this year." This to me is finally an analyst not buying into the Jets making the playoffs this year. I completely agree that mark sanchez will be the reason they don't. Thoughts?
  12. and i would def agree with you on that. i'm not saying the owners don't make money... but to say that i should feel bad for the players not making enough money... and were talking in terms of millions of $ enough... is ridiculous. i only dream of doing something i love for millions. the owners happen to provide that for the players. i wouldn't side with the owners either if they were upset about money for that matter.
  13. Im sorry but what risk did Jamarcus Russell take? Not a whole lot to earn $40 million guaranteed. Seems to me Al Davis took a big RISK in giving him all that money. Idk about you but $40 million is a good amount of money to wager whether a player will pan out or not. Not to mention Sam Bradford is getting a guaranteed $50 million and he may not even pan out.
  14. +1 The argument that they are exploited is ridiculous. I'm sorry if making millions of dollars is part of being exploited sign me up. Not to mention they get to do something they love. Omg they might risk injury, so don't play! Its simple you know the risk and the millions of dollars are the reward. They work for maybe 6 months out of the year to make millions, so no i don't feel bad for Derrelle and how much he's being "exploited."
  15. They actually ran a couple 3rd and long situations. One time Trent hi Roscoe over the middle for 15 yards and on another 3rd and long Trent hit Steve Johnson for a TD. The line seemed to hold up, but again they weren't hitting, so who knows.
  16. +1 I was at practice as well and agree with the assessment. Quarterbacks all looked very good. As far as the OL is concerned it was kinda hard to tell how good the blocking was considering they weren't working in pads. But if i had to judge how they looked without hitting, they seemed to be blocking well enough for Trent or whoever the QB was to get the passes off. It was a real short practice though.
  17. +1 And Adding to Skoobys comment, these rookies sign for millions of dollars in guaranteed money, before even stepping on the field. Its ridiculous. I would love to have a job where i show up, do a piss poor job and still collect millions of dollars. Why should i feel bad for the player? He had ONE amazing year. So next year if he plays piss poor does he hand back the money he made? no, that will never happen. they are playing a sport and making money that most everyone here would dream of making. he signed this contract, he was gonna get 20 million in guaranteed. and i'm not surprised he is going after this money in uncapped year.
  18. I might be in the minority here, but aren't injuries a part of football? whats all the fuss about? i think the broncos or ravens have more to complain about in terms of injuries. no matter how many 2 a days or padded practices you do, injuries are going to occur. the solution is to try to limit the amount of injuries that happen or have great depth. yes easley could eventually develop into a great receivers, but are we so certain that was gonna happen this year? he was a project. we are lucky that most of the injuries are occuring to our back ups and not starters.
  19. LINK Gotta love that quote by owner Woody Johnson on if Revis will play this year "My gut feeling is, I would say no,"
  20. I would say they had limited success prior. The year prior to being 1-15 they were 6-10. Two years before that they were 4-12. They hadn't been to the playoffs since 2001. They were in shambles really, Dave Wanstedt bailed on the team mid season. Then Lou Saban came in and that didn't work.
  21. Link A review of the radio interview of Chan Gailey by Tim Graham. Don't know if its been posted yet. Liked what Chan had to say. Then Tim let this one fly "The Bills would need to break out of an organizational funk to reach the playoffs, a feat that might be more miraculous than the Dolphins rebounding from 1-15 to win the division in 2008." Man he is a hater. I mean its like he thinks "well obviously the dolphins could do it, but no way the bills could ever rebound like that." I'm not saying we are gonna turn around and win the division, but I mean it is in the realm of possibility if the dolphins could do it.
  22. +1 Last I checked we were stacked at running back. Im not saying Spiller doesn't need to be in camp, but lets make sure both sides are getting what they want out of this contract.
  23. wasn't he shoulder bothering him last year?
  24. So under DJ, there is little to no hitting in training camp. The bills end up with the most players on IR(2 years i believe 2007, 2009). Now with Chan, theres a good amount of hitting, and 2 players get hurt. Seems to me that injuries are just part of the game
  25. Hey guys, long time follower, first time poster... Maybe its just me, but I don't read into this as Brohm had a good day, but one good series, in 7-on-7 play. I believe CB wrote "this was one of Brohms better series" Now, one good series does not make a good day, lets see him string together a couple good series, with a full defense on the field, before we anoint him.
