Yea you did, you don't understand defensive schemes or calls.
-
So just ignore the coaches huh? Gilmore should just ignore what the called scheme is? And yes, there was someone coming near his zone, there were 2 shallow crossing patterns that mirrored each other. One on Butlers side and another on Gilmores. Yes the LB was covering him but eventually he would enter Gilmores zone. Is the LB just suppose to know that Gilmore is of in man/man coverage and that he now needs to be in man?
-
Seriously, it's not hard for those that don't understand Cover 2, google it. There are plenty of pictures that show how this scheme is played and where there zones are defined. And to those saying he should have just carried on covering Hill: First, is he just suppose to ignore a coaches call and cover man/man? Second, what happens if the LB passes his player, the slot receiver in this instance, off into Gilmores zone and he's off trying to cover Hill? Is Gilmore suppose to just assume the LB keeps covering someone in Gilmores zone? Is Gilmore suppose to know what's going in everyone else's zones while watching the QB, which is what you do in zone? Watch Butler, he does the same exact thing Gilmore does and his vertical route is wide open too. Both Safety's bit on the vert middle route instead of getting deep.

What's wrong with the Pats Defense? Plenty

Really? The game was tied going into the half, Patriots came out and scored and the Eagles responded and scored. It was tied after 3 qtrs. I'd maybe say the Pats controlled the 4th qtr but McNabb also threw in int with 7:20 left in the game, forced the Pats to punt the next drive and then drove down and scored. -

If you look at how Andy Reid has fared against the Patriots, he's actually kept most games pretty close. His record of 2-6 isn't great but he's 2-1 now as the Chiefs coach against the Pats. The only real blow out was the first matchup in 2003 when the Patriots beat the Eagles 31-10. Here's the rest of the match-ups: February 6, 2005: Patriots 24, Eagles 21 - Super Bowl, Eagles came within 3 with 1:48 remaining and McNabb threw a int. November 25, 2007: Patriots 31, Eagles 28 - AJ Feely was the starting QB and threw 2 ints on the final two possessions. November 27, 2011: Patriots 38, Eagles 20 - Again starting backup QB Vince Young September 29, 2014: Chiefs 41, Patriots 14 - Monday Night game January 16, 2015: Patriots 27, Chiefs 20 - Playoff game -
You can see from the snap, Gilmore is in zone. McCourty gets sucked into the middle vert route instead of playing wide, the TD is on McCourty. Obviously Gilmore should have recognised McCourty was going to be out of position, and stayed with the receiver 🙄
-
Yup. 2 deep safety, against 3 vertical routes. Tough for the safety's but those guys are most certainly theirs to cover. McCourty gets sucked into the middle vert route, should be playing wider.

Plex can work a lot like Kodi, as in you can install "channels" that function like Kodi addons and a lot of the Kodi addons are available. It also has it's own "Covenants" and live channels.

Report. Colt Anderson re-signed

Or Ducasse. I'll take either at this point. -
QB Joe Webb (update: now signed)
Wayne Cubed replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peterman is going to start on Sunday, if I'm guessing. Backed up by Webb. Taylor and Yates aren't going to get healthy in time. -
Weird cut though if you think about keeping Vallejo, who's injured.

is jonathan williams next? - update: now cut
Wayne Cubed replied to ronnieroscoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean especially if he was your backup RB, Mike Tolbert is not a backup RB at this point in his career. He's a couple snaps/situational type player. Just a really, really weird move considering how Williams looked this preseason. -

But there is certainly room for 31 yr old Mike Tolbert. -

Bills only Claim 3. Three cuts coming

Yea I'd probably guess that. -

I'm guessing one of the rookie LB is cut and will attempt to be put on PS, one of the RBs and possibly Thomas is the odd man out at TE. -
Mike Rodak Bills have also claimed LB Deon Lacey off waivers from the Dolphins and TE Khari Lee off waivers from Detroit, per @FieldYates. Field Yates The Bills claimed OT Conor McDermott off of waivers from the Patriots, per league source. So that means 3 cuts coming. I'm guessing one of the rookie LBs, a RB and maybe Logan Thomas is the odd man out?

Bills' Roster Cuts to the 53 Man Limit

Interestingly, feel like because there's only 1 cut down now there has been more trades going on. -
Nate Peterman Love .. anyone vs. 2018 QB draft??
Wayne Cubed replied to WideRightRevenge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right, I got that. In the beginning of Trents career he wasn't checking down either, he was doing almost exactly what Peterman is doing. Short routes, quick decisions and a quick release. That's where the comparassion comes from. And it's been mentioned more than just on this board. Maybe I missed it, but no one is arguing or saying he will turn out like Trent, just that he looks like early Trent Edwards. I don't think that's amateur, just an observation. There are worse players/QBs he could look like. -

Edwards throwing to quick/short routes isn't an opinion, it's a fact, because that's in fact what happened. Just like Peterman is doing. He didn't initially throw to checked down routes and wasn't constantly checking down, which is what you stated. Only AFTER defenses took away his short stuff/quick read did he start to consistently check down. And he became Captain Checkdown. Sure the comparassion is an opinion, but then it's no more amateur than you dismissing it.
