    I watched the game without drinking (I know, WTF) and getting more WRs in the offseason was my main takeaway. Side note, seeing that lateral sober was pretty surreal.

    Yeah you're right. It is funny. Sadly, its true. Sabres had first scheduling rights, Canisius had second. Braves were third. That was never going to happen.

    Wait, we're blaming Stern for the fact the Braves were effectively the third tenant at the Aud? Freaking Canisius had dibs for prime dates ahead of the Braves. This wasn't conducive to long-term success. The league gave them time to figure this out. Unfortunately they didn't. I don't blame Stern for this.

    Best commissioner of any sport over the the last 30 years. Accessible, witty, loved a good scrap with fans or media. The opposite of Goodell or Bettman.

    TBH, I've thought Daboll has handled himself excellent this season. I've grown to really appreciate Allen, but man, how could you not wanna tear into him from time to time?

    There’s a saying in soccer: “Don’t dive. Don’t get.” Diving is dumb, but sometimes necessary given how poor referees are in most major sports. When Cole Beasley went “down” vs Baltimore I had huge smile on my face.

    It's fun to crap on the OC, but we had moments that needed to be executed and we walk out with the W. In a game against defense like this, that's all you can ask for. Especially with the offensive limitations we have.
