  1. At that rate, I wouldn't hold it against her, I'd be impressed. Means her body can take a beating, I'd hire her and not give her any sick leave.
  2. What percentage of (xyz) do you allow weed to be laced with before it's no longer just weed? This is an important question if we're going to debate legality.
  3. I don't hold Obama responsible much for the red-line thing. There's two big no-no's the international community has put out there... chemical weapons and nuclear weapons. Either is used, developed or whatever, the international community usually goes nuts with outrage. For whatever reason no one cares that Assad is using chemical weapons. For whatever reason Obama does. Personally, I don't feel like getting involved unless we really feel it's necessary to protect our interests over there (but frankly, I wish we wouldn't have interests in that region, heh).
  4. I'm talking regulation as in making sure the stuff used is pure and not laced with dangerous crap, which happens more often than you'd think. If it's going to be produced, and sold wide spread, it'd be to society's benefit to make sure it's safe to consume.
  5. Losing fewer starters to season ending injuries than the other team would be a good start.
  6. CBS is still TBA in DC area, afaik.
  7. Liberal chiming in: I don't think we should involve ourselves in anyone's conflicts at the moment, not unless there's serious national security implications. I'd rather us concentrate on fixing our growing problems with for-profit education and healthcare, and improving our crumbling infrastructure. But... lobbyists control this country, so none of that will happen. Only war and oil are national issues.
  8. Ding ding ding.
  9. It's probably less dangerous than alcohol. Legalize it, regulate it, tax it. Stop wasting money and man hours on fighting it.
  10. In a vacuum, I'd agree, but we have to remember we've changed OCs as well. As much **** as Chan gets for being a HC, he actually got a lot out of our offense, considering it's limitations. We'll see if Hackett can get as much out of the new guys.
  11. I used to date a girl in Philly, when I'd visit we would go to McFaddens, it's awesome. I was there for the win against the Pats and hurt my neck (not my throat!) yelling so hard hah.
  12. Don't underestimate their run game. I imagine they'll be able to really pound opponents into submission this year.
  13. 1pm CBS game is still TBA here, it's possible they just don't have the info needed to make the maps yet. Here's hoping we get the old style back
  14. We'll need them to have about 3-7 turnovers, and us to have zero.
  15. We beat them with Fitz and Chan, and according to posters here, they were the worst QB and coach ever. It's practically a guarantee that we win this game!
  16. I wonder how many plays it'll take until Wilfork takes a dive at his knee...
  17. I don't know how anyone can disagree with this. We're going into the season with a rookie coach, rookie QB, rookie MLB (QB of Def), rookie WRs, we lost our best CB, we have zero OL depth, we have zero CB depth, our FS doesn't really want to be here and is injured... There isn't much on paper to go by. Hopefully the team proves the writers wrong when it comes to the real games.
  18. Jesus, what a train wreck of an article.
  19. As soon as they said it's plantar fasciitis, we all knew it was going to be an issue. It's one of those things people can play on at a certain level with treatment, but if it gets aggravated, it could shut him down completely. The only real solution is resting him until it's healed, but who knows how long that could take.
  20. I like numbers and all, I just don't like looking at ours against the Pats!
  21. Where'd this Buddy Nixon guy come from, seems to be getting the scoop on a lot of things.
  22. So basically.... the Patriots are good, and the Bills suck. Science.
  23. More likely we'll be calling for wholesale change in the FO. Our biggest weakness right now, imo, is not bringing in depth players while having a boat load of cap room. It'd be a bit unfair to expect much out of a first year coach, QB, MLB and WRs.
  24. Yup. Will say, I like Stevie most of the time. He seems humble and well intentioned. He's got a great possession receiver game, yet has a serious case of drops during important moments. Hopefully Woods, Easley or someone will push SJ into a more secondary role, where he more naturally fits.
  25. Sounds like a good test for our "new and improved" team.
