It used to be a coach would have 3-5 years to turn a team around. Now, they get a much shorter leash. This isn't just the NFL, either... we see it in the NBA as well.

"Realistically" I see between 4 and 6 wins. BUT, if EJ improves significantly, and our D can stop the run AND stop 3rd downs, then we'll be in for a treat. I just don't expect either to happen.

It's easy to predict a struggle this season. Our schedule isn't exactly easy... we still have the Pats in our division... it's likely the Jets and/or the Dolphins got better... and we still have big questions on our team. I'm not going to fault anyone for predicting us to struggle.

I don't have much faith in Hackett to put CJ in space... but here's hoping.

Over the last few years CJ and FJ have been injured on and off, sometimes at the same time, and they've had to limp through games. Due to the nature of the position, I think there will be plenty of room for three backs.. it'll allow them to stay fresher, and allow us to deal with injuries better. Brown is certainly better than Choice, that's for sure.

The only way to avoid an abusive relationship is to not be in relationships, otherwise you never know when someone might go off the deep end and do something nasty to you. I can understand his comments, but they were in poor taste.

Honestly a bit surprised, since we picked up Brown and Dixon... but, here's to hoping FJax finishes strong.

I like EJ Manuel. And I'm totally ok with giving him this and next season to see if he can be the QB we need.

Just going by media reports at times... its just weird how things are. Please note, that I'm in the "Give EJ time camp" Just seems like Geno is probably on the hotter seat, being in NY with Vick behind him.

Geno completes 5 of 6 passes, and is part of a bad practice.... EJ completes like 50% and we're told to be patient... kinda interesting the different expectations of the two.

I might have missed a couple teams that had winning records, but weren't in the playoffs... it was a bit of a rush. I make no claims to perfection on that list.

I definitely see us as the underdog, but simply writing us off as a sure loss is a dick move.

Whatever gets the job done. Some games he'll need to pass more, because we're either down, or facing a staunch run defense. Some games he can pass less, because it's a clock control game...
