  1. I'm hoping we can find the room elsewhere, depending on his productivity anyways. He seems fresh so far.
  2. Also, the Steelers have a horrible defense.
  3. God damn there's a lot of picks in those highlights.
  4. I was about to respond that I doubt Kyle will be released for cap considerations, but then I remembered FredEx, and realized I know nothing about anything.
  5. It's very possible that his/their scores went from negative to positive over the course of the 3rd/4th quarter when the Bills switched to a more conservative system to kill the clock.
  6. I prefer my Presidents to have a basic understanding of science.
  7. At the very least we know Hughes will get a personal foul at some point putting a pop on him
  8. My only beef with Roman's play calling was the first play... but for all we know that was Rex trying to play games. Everything else, I thought worked well. We were aggressive until we got out to 24-0, then dialed things back to emphasize removing time from the clock.
  9. It could be my memory, but I don't remember seeing many/any throws over the middle from Tyrod. He almost entirely works the flats, or the deep ball down the sideline. Again, could be my memory, though. If it works, awesome... but I could see a team taking that away.
  10. Hm, I feel like this and the other Week 2 prep thread should be merged...
  11. Visiting various Patriots fan sites... it appears most think this will still be an easy win, because Rex sucks and the Bills always suck. A few understand that we have talent, Rex has always given them tough games, and the Bills tend to give the Pats tough games in Buffalo. I'm excited and nervous. I might throw up.
  12. They used to have ones that are leather bottomed, those were the best. I don't like the new versions that have a rubber sole.
  13. I think it was a big win, but it also could have been a fluke game, not a clue. Long season to go, and we'll find out what it means in time.
  14. Considering the Dolphins were everyone's off-season darling.... I'm predicting a fine.
  15. This was the top comment when I loaded the page.
  16. Does the NFL have the power to suspend players?
  17. - 2 pre-season games + 1 scrimmage + 1 regular season game
  18. Players get injured away from the ball all the time. I guess we'll agree to disagree. I didn't like the playcall.
  19. The holds were frustrating, but I mostly agree with you on it... facemasks, personal fouls, late hits, etc are just mental errors that absolutely need to be coached out. Whether on the coach level or player leadership level.
  20. Actually, no. I'm not a huge fan of unnecessary trickery. Two QBs on the field at the same time when we only have two dressed, makes this a risky play and incredibly unnecessary.
  21. I think it was purely to get in the opponents head. I think it was a stupid play.
  22. Does it matter what happened in the past at all? Today's showing in regards to penalties is something that needs to be addressed. Period.
  23. My thoughts: 1. Hell yeah! 2. We need leadership on the team. Too many mental errors that almost let the Colts back in the game. We clearly have talent, but we need some players or coaches to keep everyone in the game mentally. The amount of mental mistakes today would lose us a game against a better coached team (Patriots). 3. McCoy wasn't all that impressive as a runner behind this line, but I really liked what I saw from him in the passing game. I don't care if that's how he gets his yards, if it works. Get him in space. 4. Karlos seems to fit this line quite nicely... one cut and hits the hole... even if its not there. 5. Tyrod played damned well. Ran at the right times, threw at the right times, was pretty accurate. That being said, the fumble, and the poor clock management are things that need to be looked at. I'm sure the mental mistakes will be worked out with experience. 6. Darby makes me nervous, but it's clear he has skill. Gilmore is a stud. But again, we let the Colts back into the game with mental errors in our defensive backfield. Seems like assignments were missed quite often. 7. Missed Dareus in the middle... it seemed we didn't have much rush up through the middle, or at all really. We blitzed a lot, but had little to show for it for much of the game. But when we did get the right pressure, we caused a lot of bad throws. 8. Good job 12th man. The fans really pumped the players up and made life hell for the Colts. 9. Hell yeah!
