  1. Wait, so 2-2 is better than/tied with 3-1? Can someone break this down for me in simple terms?
  2. I'm somewhat skeptical of that... should be interesting to see what our intelligence agencies find, though... I guess? A lot of white people are feeling 'threatened' (rightfully or not, is up for debate) due to continued changing demographics. Generally speaking.
  3. Sure. When you feel mistreated, or intimidated by 'others', you are more likely to 'act out', for those at the extreme ends of life, acting out can be a mass shooting.
  4. As the smartest guy here, you should understand that most crime is bred out of desperation.
  5. I fully admit that the smaller stuff doesn't really register for me any more (regardless of personal, political or religious motivation), since it's *so* common in the US now. Which, I guess speaks to my frustration over the bigger issues, we just don't care to address anything at a base level, instead we try to blame a religion, or a gun, when instead it very much has to do with divisiveness, inequality, and lack of healthcare (at least imo).
  6. Like I said, we have a social problem and a gun availability problem. They don't mix well. If we took better care of each other, promoted equality and inclusiveness, we wouldn't have as many mass murders. But also, if we basically banned guns, we wouldn't either (instead we'd be dealing more often with smaller scale knife attacks and the like, since the social problems would still be there). Who said they weren't important to me? We also have mass murders almost every day in the US that *aren't* related to Islamic extremism. Also, I don't check off the wall, since that is usually about things like tv shows and the like, while PPP deals with current events. My apologies.
  7. Doesn't really matter, we have a home grown mass violence issue in the US. Doesn't matter what their political or religious ideologies are, imo. We breed violence at a social level, and have a gun availability problem. The right (most here) pin everything on 'Islamic extremists'. The left pin everything on 'gun nuts'.
  8. To be fair, no one on the defensive front seven played well under the Ryans, and Dareus has been injured to start this year. Not saying he's worth his contract, but we're stuck with it, and he's still a damned good DT when healthy.
  9. Really wish we had another RB other than Tolbert... he just doesn't have the vision to hit the right hole/gap half the time, imo. And he is tackled easily most times, so the whole size advantage isn't really that much of an advantage. That being said, he's probably a good pass blocker or something, so maybe that's why he's sticking around.
  10. You guys are all over these small 'terror' attacks, yet literally crickets when an old white dude murders 50+ and causes 400+ injured.
  11. We also got lucky for the no call on White's defensive holding/pass interference.
  12. Strength of victory and strength of schedule makes us look good. Really hope we don't have a let down in Cincinnati.
  13. To be fair, the Bengals almost stole one from GB and absolutely destroyed Cleveland, since changing OCs. Maybe they're playing to what Vegas thought they should. Hopefully we don't trust this team like an easy win. Let down games are the worst.
  14. Fun start, but it's still early. Hope we continue the solid play for the rest of the season.
  15. Oof, that's no good. He's our only reliable WR. Hopefully Zay and Holmes step up.
  16. They've definitely looked better post firing their OC.
  17. We need to remember how much we need depth and rotation on this team. Dareus, whatever you think of him, is incredibly valuable to said rotation. Hopefully his ankle gets healed up better for next week, the guy is a great space eater.
  18. Right?? I don't know what to do with this good fortune Is this what it feels like to be other teams when they face the Bills??
  19. Does he continue to play, to work through it, or does he get benched until a further date?
  20. Love love love the win, but I'm not going to lie, we got some awesome luck that game
  21. If we are still #1 after this week, it'll feel more legit. We haven't exactly faced stellar offenses so far.
  22. Woah, last I saw they were up big late in the game
