Outside looking in at Jackson he is a true testiment of a Buffalo Bill. Thurman was passed up because of a knee, Jackson was overlooked because of his college. Jackson does it all. Is he the best at his position? That is debatable since Jackson is a very complete back. He might not put up the best numbers, but he does it all well very good. I rather take a back like Jackson over Spiller any day since Jackson, can pass protect, run with power and speed, and can catch a ball out of the backfield. He in my book is one of the very best running backs Buffalo has had. If he and Thurman were together back in the day that would have been the scariest backfield in football history in my book. Buffalo wont pay him because they want production without pay. It would be a shame if the Bills didn't pay him a few million a year and keep him.

These are fair rankings for Buffalo. I can see us 11-14. We better be in top 5-10 if we beat those patsies. If wewipe their arses with a good beat down, then in top 5. The one article said packers and pats are ranked 30&31 in defense and said good defense is no longer a the key of winning championships.... I wrote in another post that he gives us 22 and I should drive up to Bristol and remind him that people can still take away his lunch money. I can see that little rat face putting the Bills in the 20's. I can see us 11-14 in a heart beat. If we beat the brady bunch then we better move in the top 5-10.

I can see 4-0, but think 3-1. The patsies might beat us but I HIGHLY DOUBT DESTROY. I tried putting stats up in another post but it keeps just going back to numbers. The Bills put up just as equal numbers as the pats and have been beat by marginal numbers. Only when they give up 6-7 turnovers do they get destroyed but the stats still stay close. I think if the Bills control the clock with ball control we win and can easily go 4-0.

Chan the Man often spoke about Lee not running routes like he wanted and said he had to work on those routes. I think Chan politley said that Lee is a good receiver justnot what he wants on his team. One mans garbage is anothers gold type thing. Nothing wrong with Lee but Chan wants guys not to run straight but move around I took from all the Chan comments. I think Chan has told and worked with Fitz on how to place the ball and let the receivers be at a spot instead of hitting an open man. Fitz being the "smartest pro athlete" (that was put out on ESPN) worked on that hence his stats are up. Looking at Chan's history he doesnt need a payton or Brady, but needs a qb that can be quick and read a head. Great chemistry in the making, and Chan picked his team around Fitz in my opinion. Chan Loves this kid and thats because he's seen him in college and knows what he's capable of. The thing is he doesn't pick up the pass protection good. He needs to do this more to get on the field more. I think he is a great problem to have because he can be used in a slot and quick screens. I still think Fred is the Man and CJ will and can be used as an option. I do agree that this is such a great problem and still amazed how Chan the Man has put this club on top offensively so fast. Well a little known fact that can be disputed. Buffalo has played New England tough on the first game between the two every year. In fact Buffalo should have beaten them several times and lost last year 38-30. When Buffalo got beat the second time, Buffalo had more passing yards simply because the pats ran all over us, and we had 3ints and a few fumbles. This year the pats have a questinable defense and Brady is just throwing all over the place. Fact: Fred Jackson has a better yards per carry over NE than any other team. Call it end of the year garbage but also look at how they play. I say an upset is in the making big time. Fitz is doing much better on short reads and will pick apart NE on short plays, and NE will throw all day on us and most likely have another 300 yard game. The difference is ball control and turnovers. Say what you want but the fact that Buffalo hangs tough can be the difference. Last year they tried to do what they could. This year they BILLIEVE they can. Call Lights out old and a no show, but dont plan for him and he will bite. He still draws attention and is still a huge upgrade at the position. So he doesn't have a sack, he still is in position and draws attention. That's better than what we had. Buffalo will hold NE to under 100 yards rushing, but will Wanny risk a nickel defense with Blitzes(no disrespect to George)? I can see us getting to Brady and hitting him. I also see Brady having an off day with people in his face. I expect the Bills to force the pats to run on us with screens and draw plays. The first half may be a huge stat breaker for the Bills as they go after Brady nonstop, and force them to run all day. Whats that do? It slows them down and forces ball control which we can do better. Look at the stats from the past. Buffalo will control the clock and Brady will be nervous to sit in the pocket. So before you throw out little facts look at the stats because they dont lie. Buffalo in a huge upset 31-28. Brady is seen crying and yelling like a BIEACH because he's on his back with no time to throw, but still puts up 300 yards, with an int.

Yes put the point spread difference in with it. Then put stats don't lie. Then the question is this what you are made of???

The Chargers were doing good but failed to put the ball in the end zone. If the Bills get into a shoot out, I really feel they can. Many people say we have an explossive offense. The pats defense is questionable this year. They can't run like the last two teams we played are built for. Remember that the Raiders and the chiefs were and are run first teams and led the nfl last year respectfully at #1 and #2. The patsies are even strength and show a run first menatlity but pass. Brady takes what he can which makes him hard to beat. I think George and Wanny will have their hands full trying to contain this. I would expect the Bills to have a real breakout game with Blitzing. I dont think we blitzed much and when we did were hit with screens. I see Buffalo in a nickel setting most with some stunts and blitzing. The pats use a 2 TE set and can throw with it as the TE's can run routes and catch. Very tough game, but winnable as Buffalo might be able to run ball control and use the clock against the pats. They can score at will on anyone almost like the Bills were able to do so in the 90's. We were beat by ball control and a taste of that to the pats can be done. The best gameplan is for Buffalo to run the ball a lot and just control the clock. Run and when we are done running, run the ball again. Short screens as well. Not saying we win, but do smell a an upset in the air. I hope we do.

If the players were smart about it and called in advance to do it, then went public it would tie Goodells hands andlet the players do so. I'm for having team players get fined when they act out and do stupid stuff, but believe the NFL will be EXTREMELY STUPID IF THEY FINE PLAYERS FOR WEARING THE UNITED STATES COLORS IN HONOR. If they do that then maybe the NFL would like to set up in another country. It would be a slap in the face to our own nation if they do. Highly doubt he gets fined. We will see though.

Great stuff. I think Buffalo is much better on the O-line than people think. I agree that all answers are straight forward and calling it like he was told or see's it. Chan most likely saw that Wood is a better center and eeds to be there. I think the Bills are by far a sleeper this year and will be in all games. I also think we get to 8-8 and anything under that is considered falure. No reason to not be 8-8. As many here feel 5-6 wins again, I ask to explain because this team has done nothing but gotten bigger, stronger and have been in a system for more than a year now meaning they have chemistry and a much better understanding of the system. I really like the fact how he said Lee is not a crossing route player and it's more than obvious Chan not only wants but demands this, and the management is listening to him. On the offensive line, he's right. We are stronger but weak for backups. I think we have a nastier bunch in there that will get the line moving forward and get the running backs a few yards more yards. Might even give the pats and jets a split. The NFL network even said teams like the pats and Indy are not come from behind defenses. I think if we pound the ball we can compete. NOTE I said COMPETE not BEAT. I think we go 8-8 or better.
