He a bigger receiver, not sure how fast he is, likely a 40+ catch guy as a # 2, but he is older, and do you take away a roster spot from a young guy in order to sign him. I think Hardy did enough to stay around, I like steve Johnson, but he didn't WOW me, David Nelson I liked very much, made the most of his chances. I would like to see what Nelson can do against starting Db's. You know what you have with Parrish and Evans. Jackson I don't dis-like but he just in the mix. The others practice squad at best for now. With team looking for vet WR's he will not be easy to get if they our interested. thougts?

For whats it worth, the Bills haven't said it's not true, they just said that they haven't spoken to the cards about it. They could be talking about it internally, or speak to outside source about this guy. The Bills haven't denied that. I personally think it's a bad move if they bring this guy in. I just remember reading an article 2 or 3 days ago about how Trent is more confident. What would it do to his confidents if they bring in Lienart. If this guy was going to get it done it would have been with the cards.

I would rather go 3-13 instead of 8-8, and help this rebuilding process move along faster. Do you think that if we really sh#t the bed and went like 1-15 that gaily would get canned?

Fitz is # 3, brown gets cut and put on the practice squad. No one is going to pick up buffalo 4th qb and 7th rd pick and give him a roster spot. Chan shouldn't even play him and save everyone the worry. It more then likely then going to have a very high pick in the upcoming draft and if they get to the point where either fitz or Brown is playing, their likely going to have the first pick in the draft and are going to draft a Qb, so it really doesn't matter either way.

I'm not really sure what kind of rear he's going to have.

Nobody being brought in, this season is a wash. Chan and Buddy are going to see what they inherted this year and there going to start building from there. The only reason they put up this front is so ticket sales won't drop too much. About the only thing there looking to win is the overall #1 pick in the draft.

What about the Skins, the same can be said for them. We just got killed, by the Redskins. I'm willing to bet they weren't in mid season form, with all their starts, and a fully loaded playbook which they have been running for years. They were in the same situation and they kicked the crap out of us. I don't think we could beat buff state at this point.

I hear what your saying, and your right, but it's not like we were playing the saints. The same can be said for the redskins. New head coach, switching to a 3-4, missing starters. They just killed us in every part of the game. I can't remember ever seeing such a blow out in the preseason. Usually the starters come out (there a little rusty), the better team puts up 10 to 14 points, the back ups come in for each team, cancel each other out, maybe a odd touch down a couple of field goals. The game becomes boring and he go home with a 17 to 9 score or something like that. But holy smokes he got killed, they scored 6 TD. We couldn't even covert on 3rd down. There was even a point in the second quarter that Trent, CJ, Lee, Johnson, and Parrish were on the field with the Skins 2nd teamers and they went 3 and out. I know it's early, but it should have been closer. I really haven't seen any change in the team since Jauron was here.

Did anyone think that not going for 4 and 1 was just dumb? Wouldn't it have made sense to go for it, and if they do pick it up that Trent and the offense stays on the field to get a little more work. I read the other day that this year there working on situational football. Maybe they don't think 4 and 1 will come up this year. thoughts?

It doesn't matter who the coach, this team is hopeless. They continue to be a mirror image of a heartless, guttless, clueless, team year after year. I have never been one to talk trash about the bills, but how many years of this can a person take. Has anyone seen anything positive out of tonights game? Please help me, because it usually takes me about till week 10 to realize how much they really suck, but as of 7 mins into the second half I was sold on that thought already. I didn't see any difference in the teams attitude tonight then when Jauron was here, expect his teams could play special teams.

If trent becomes a franchise Qb, I want to win them all. If not, I want to lose them all. 6-10 or 7-9 helps no one.

What made Bill the perfect fit is he has the ability and skill to turn the team around. ( sorry, just stating my opinion, please don't blast me for it, I wasn't aware you had to have a Ph. D in profootball to post here) It funny, I haven't been able to find many teams in the NFL that have made the playoff multiple times it the last 10 years, and have a excellent Qb situations, that are looking for a new head coach.
