  1. I still think the two most important positions on the field are QB and LT. I think with the first pick you take the best LT or QB out there. In the second round I would look for the NT and/ or possibly see if something worked out with the browns for Shaun Roger, I've heard some mention that they may like to unload him. I wouldn't trade him for a low pick, but maybe a higher pick and a player. I could see him playing there for the 5 years. I think Maybin has to have a chance to be the pass rushing specialist. However I would like to see a stay at home LB, like D. Talley from back in the day, but I wouldn't draft him until the 3rd round. I really don't think the bills are going to do much this year, I think they will have a top 5 pick next year, With a new CBA there should be a cap, I think they will be way below it, plus all those restricted free agents who have been given 1 year tenders will be unrestricted next year in addition to the other who are scheduled to be FA in 2011. I think they should evaluate the talent they have in there new system, and try to make both lines soild for the next year.
  2. I think he is a guy who should come for a visit. Anyone know the extent of the injury.
  3. Could be true, but if you think about all the possible RFA (200+) who were taken off the market, there really only a hand full of guys you can get excited about. There not those 4 or 5 year players who drafted in later rounds that have started to develope into good players after a couple years. What out there are who 30+ year old player or prior IR guys who looking for work. It's ok when your 2 players away, but to try to build a team this year, forget it.
  4. I think he might make a good right DE, but don't you need speed to play the left/ blind side. I don't think he produce a ton of sacks, but he should be able to hold his own and maybe free up a blitzer.
  5. It seem like the Raven are pretty set on there O-line. Maybe he's a guy who could fall through the cracks. If he is healthy he must be better then what we have.
  6. Does anyone know anything about this guy? UFA offensive tackle from the Ravens. 18 starts over the last 4-5 years. Relatively young, only 27. Missed last season due to a knee injury. Planning a visit with the Colts, but they can't sign him yet due to the final 8 rule. Looks like a Brad Bulter possible replacement. Started 54 games at syracuse.
  7. Totally agree, none of the free agents so far would have done anything except, gives us another overpaided player to dump in a year or two. The loss of the CBA and the restricted free agaents really hurt the bills this year. There were alot of 4 and 5 years players that would of been nice additions to build on. It's to bad the bills have drafted so poorly over the last several years. If maybe they could pull off some trades with players that don't fit their system that would be good. Maybe teams will release players deeper into FA. No matter what we are starting at the bottom.
