  1. When did this become the Pats love line ? Please god save our Bills
  2. True, but I just want to be #1 at something. However, what if my scouts and their scouts want the same guy, but they get to pick first. Then I'm still screwed.
  3. If trent becomes a franchise Qb, I want to win them all. If not, I want to lose them all. 6-10 or 7-9 helps no one.
  4. What made Bill the perfect fit is he has the ability and skill to turn the team around. ( sorry, just stating my opinion, please don't blast me for it, I wasn't aware you had to have a Ph. D in profootball to post here) It funny, I haven't been able to find many teams in the NFL that have made the playoff multiple times it the last 10 years, and have a excellent Qb situations, that are looking for a new head coach.
  5. Sorry, for making you mad. Your missing the point of my post. However, you do have the right to your opinion as I do, as well as every other person. I only ask if your going to jump down my throat for expressing my thoughts, please do it to everyone else on this web site and every other web/ media outlet in the world, Because just like me, "Who the f**k are" they to express their thoughts. Anyway, like I said before, my prayers go out to Bill and his family.
  6. I thought Bill Cowher was a dirt bag were he refused to take the Buffalo Job this year. I really thought it was the perfect fit for him. Now maybe we know why? In any event my feeling for bill have changed, Maybe it not, Ralph, small market, the city, etc, etc. No matter what the case, my prayers to him and his family.
  7. Couldn't watch the playboy channel when I was 10, so I turned to the Bills.
  8. I game I enjoyed the least was a game against the jets in buffalo, when it was like 15 below. This is going back to1991 or 92 ? I think they said it was the coldest games in bills history. The bills won 9-6 on a last minute field. I remember it was so cold they couldn't even gets a crew out there to shovel the snow off the seats in the upper deck the day before. As a side note I also went to the Pats playoff game last year against the Ravens in foxbrough. I think it was just as cold, But it was great to see the Pats get dropped.
  9. Good luck, and have a speedy recovery
  10. Sorry posted the first thing to come to mind
  11. I'm willing to give trent the benefit of the doubt, but something is just not there. I know what the stats say, but he just not progressing. It could be the line, it cold have been Jauron and the OC, but for what ever reason, it just not clicking.
  12. No sh#t, we need it more then anyone.
  13. Not with Rob Johnson, but flutie had something special. I was a flutie basher for years, but that guy just won football games plain and simple. For years, I always felt that would have been our best shot, expect for SB 25. That was the classic underdog story we've all seem so many times.
  14. With the expection of a december game here or there, by kickoff they will all be sold out.
  15. It's funny, Buffalo News reports our ticket sales as a positive, PFT reports our ticket sales as a Negative, and feels we should be worry about local blackouts. Some readers at PFT feel we should be the target of relocation, not the Jags. Funny how two media outlets report these things.
  16. I love all of you, but your dreamin. Buddy and Chan only want to win 4 games in order to draft a QB, and evaluate the roster. 8-8 & 7-9 gives us another Maybin type pick, high on potential, low on impact. It's seem in the NFL you need to be really good, or (really bad in order to rebuild). Being average doesn't help. No matter what, bad football is better then no football.
  17. "Make up your mind dude, is he doing to sh#t or is he going to kill us" Jeff Spacollee
  18. Jimmy got some inside info, he knows something. Please god save our Bills.
  19. pretty cool, I wonder if it works. I still think Brohm the starter.
  20. Strongside linebacker (per Wikepedia) The strongside linebacker (SLB) is often nicknamed "Sam" for purposes of calling a blitz. Since the strong side of the offensive team is the side on which the tight end lines up, or whichever side contains the most personnel, the strongside linebacker usually lines up across from the tight end. Often the strongside linebacker will be called upon to tackle the running back on a play, because the back will be following the tight end's block. He is most often the strongest linebacker; at the least he possesses the ability to withstand, shed, and fight off blocks from a TE or a FB blocking the backside of a pass play. The linebacker should also have strong safety abilities in pass situation to cover the tight end in man on man situations. He should also have considerable quickness to read and get into coverage in zone situations. I don't know who is right for the position? Kelsey should be able to fight off blocks from TE and FB, but I have no idea how he would be in space. I think of the two, Ryan Denney would have been a better choice for the position. Batten and Ellis who knows? I remember what made Tally so good is he would stay at home, and hold his ground so bruce could run free. But Tally did struggle his first 2 or 3 years. ???? I think it going to be a long season with some upside. I just hope Ralph can hold on long enough so we can see this thing through.
  21. After all the mini camps and OTA's, I think it a little late to add someone.
  22. I think Gaily was in a bad spot in Dallas. It was a high profile, vetern team. What was he going to do, call Troy, Irvin, and E. Smith into the meeting room and tell them, " I know you you just won 3 superbowls, but this is what I want to do." Those guy's were at the ends of there careers, there all HOF's so he couldn't get rid of them. He just had to play with what he had. I'm not saying he going to be good, but at least in buffalo he able to put his own team together, and be able to coach these young players. Give the guy a chance. Who knows, 1 thing I believe about the bills, were due for a break.
  23. I don't much about CJ Spiller, but I hear people compare him to Chris Johnson (Tenn). I was at the Bills Vs Titans last year just about field level, and I have to tell you, if he's anything like Johnson, the Bills made a great pick. I was one of the guys that wanted a tackle in the first. It was amazing how much better Johnson was then anyone on the field. Nobody on the field could cover him or catch him. With the exception of Vince Young scrambling, Tenn had nobody on offensive. You knew Johnson was getting the ball and they still couldn't stop him. I hope Spiller turns out to be one of those player makers. Johnson presents on the field, made the entire offense better. I think he's one of those guy's that if the bills didn't take him, 5 years from now we would be saying, " Can you believe we could of had CJ, and we pick _________ instead."
  24. I've thought the same thing many times and, I believe that will happen soon then later.
